OMG! It's people's opinion or perception if they say or rather like to believe that Shakti or Ashish or any xyz will not win.

Let them believe in whatever they want.
Others opinions do not change any fact. If Shakti is to win, she will. No person on this forum can stop that but neither can you change what others think or say.

Secondly, almost all the reality shows are scripted and it obvious after some point. I am sorry but one is naive if he/she thinks they really count the votes and decide the result accordingly! Some rigging is definitely done.
A channel has many things to think about. TRPs, supporting their own stars etc!

You would never see a Colors' actor is eliminated before reaching top 2.
Anyway, you are free to believe whatever you want but I choose not to believe the reality shows.
They're all gimmicks!

The channel leads you into believing that they do, but the truth is they don't matter at all. That's why I don't even bothering for anyone. These shows are meant for entertainment. Don't take it so seriously. SCRIPTED to the max. Take it from someone who had a friend participate in one of these shows. Dirty politics go on behind the scenes. Don't become so sensitive to these shows. All the contestants on this show are on it because of their love for dancing. They get to showcase their talent on the big stage. Winning doesn't matter. Don't take anything to heart. Everything is BS.

Edit to add: Life is unfair. But to get on this big platform is huge.

First of all, thank you. Thank you for not judging me as a Shakti fan and answering my question. I understand that I have put forward my question in a very roundabout way but I was frustrated. I guess, what I should have asked was 'Is JDJ scripted?". But you figured it out and answered it anyway. Honestly, I am not into reality shows and the only one I did watch was DID 2 and the girl I was rooting for won so I was a happy soul and did not bother to ask questions. Thanks for letting me know what went on behind the lights. But it is too late to not get involved since one of my idols is participating. I can only hope for the best. And I just hope that after JDJ , Shakti has a brilliant career ahead. You know what's sad? That despite all of this, when you love a celeb it does not matter and you know that you will end up voting for her. Even if they don't count it atleast I would know that I did all I could as a fan.

Also, like me, there are people who have been in JDJ forum for a long time and hence have well-formed opinions. A lot of people were disappointed last season with Lauren's loss, also the surprise win of Baichung and Chang. Unless you people have been there back then, you cannot understand. Yes, it is a fact that Chang and Baichung would have won anyway, against anyone, because people here seem to have no idea how obsessive North-East people get when it comes to their locals.
However, the constant defensive stance for Shakti is getting weird now. IT IS NOT about Shakti. If anything people will like if Shakti wins because this forum has a soft corner for Tushar. But in my honest opinion, her shipper fans are turning neutral people against her because of their constant defensive stance. In fact, if people are pointing out how biased Colors is, it is implied that they also want the best dancer to win- that is a great thing.

PS- I really like Shakti too, and you made a really sensible post in general. Very balanced. But the fact remains that people will comment based on what they have known before.

What you said. This is an open forum and I am allowed to vent my frustration when I dont like what they say. Actually the point of the post was to ask if JDJ is scripted. And I guess I got my answer. Darling, please don't judge me on what fans before me have done. I know my fandom and I know that at times, they can get really defensive. Actually, it is because of the forum we are usually active in and things work differently there. Think of it as an inbuilt habit, please. And I know that might alienate people at times here. Which is why I tried my utmost to not just keep my post about Shakti. The whole rottenness of this affair is not only unfair to her but a lot of other celebs as well.
P.S- Most times, you would find me shouting in our AT to keep things peaceful.😛

While I understand how irritating it is to read such comments that you mentioned, don't you ppl realize that this constant rant from one fandom is equally irritating? I say, let the work speak. You never know Shakti may be the decided winner this time. ;-)

Two words- Open forum. And dear, I might have exemplified Shakti because she is my fav but the rant was for all celebs or rather their fans who vote for them. I am ranting on their behalf. I find the possibility mighty insulting that our work and votes are not taken into consideration. If you vote for a celeb, you ultimately want it to reach them , don't you?

Reality shows are nt real at all!! This has been a fact!! We have got to learn to live with it! I watch the show for entertainment and also since i m a shakti fan i see it to see her perform on stage!! I dnt think abt winning or loosing as her winning or loosing a title will nt take away her dancing talent and also the love her fans have for her!!
I have learned to deal with the fact that these shows dnt give a eff abt the audience!! These are all money making machines!!
