mahi and savio- 6 mahi is such a sweet girl but dancing wise x_x and i have to agree that the choreographers should know what works for there partner and whta doesnt. that being said her imitations were hillarious esp the ankita ones lol

Feb. 14th:

Chang and Marisha: I liked how the emotion was portrayed in their performance. The whole angst and the pushing-pulling type dance movements kept the whole performance at a high point. We got to see a different side/shade of Chang's through this performance too which was interesting. I'd say maybe 8.5/10.

Yaana and Salman: Cute performance. I'm glad Salman and Yaana opted for a lighthearted romantic performance this time, instead of an intense type romantic stuff they've done so much of already. It was refreshing to see them be goofy and dorky. 😆 Although I did feel, that the dorky/geeky bits felt TOO rehearsed. Moments like these in a dance performance need to come across as spontaneous in my opinion in order to bring out the desired effect. I feel like these two did get alot of the nuances of a 'first love' down like the awkwardness, excitement and euphoria. But I wish there was more spontaneity. Also, one thing that always bugs me a bit about Salman's choreography is I feel like he doesn't always listen to the music. This may just be my opinion, but I sometimes feel like he's so into thinking up challenging choreography that he misses the simplicity or what's natural to the piece of music. I like how Salman is so innovative, but I wish he would connect his dancing more to the music. Sometimes a moment in the song requires simplicity, or just expressing...putting in TOO challenging a choreography in those moments kills the effect in my opinion. Then the focus is more on oh what a cool move, rather than that feeling of love, or whatever overall emotion you are trying to portray. It makes you disconnect for a bit. Anyways, just my opinion. The performance was cute though and I did like the hand/feet touches on the bench....so I'd give it an 8.5/10.

Ankita and Nishant: I want to appreciate Ankita's expressive-ness in her dancing. She could've gone OTT in such a concept, but I liked how she kept her expressions subtle yet impactful in this performance. The overall performance didn't get me that emotionally involved though. Maybe minus the ending where Nishant picks her up and is consoling her. That was a touching bit. But overall, I'd say 8/10.

Mahi and Savio: I think Mahi has basicaly reached her potential on JDJ now. 😆 I don't think Savio can do much more for her either. I think she herself knows that she needs to be out at this point. 😆 I wasn't really disappointed with this performance though, it was ok types like Mahi's recent performances all have been so I'd say 7/10.

Sushant and Shampa: Interesting how Shampa showed such an Indian concept in a western dance form. I liked the choreography and Shampa was awesome of course, but I don't think this was Sushant's best. He was too aloof...and happy(?) during this performance...😕😆 Maybe he was excited/happy about proposing to Ankita or something so you could tell that he wasn't quite in the zone. Hence I couldn't connect totally with the emotion of a soldier leaving and all. I think Sushant was smiling too much or something....lol. Perhaps he was just too happy for himself (and Ankita) that day to be feeling the emotions of his performance...or something like that...😆 Anyways, Shampa was awesome. I'd give them 8.5-9/10.

Oh and the best moment of the episode had to be Sushant proposing to Ankita. Aww! 😆 These two are really adorable. When I read the article about Sushant proposing to Ankita and all, I was kind of skeptical and I was hoping it wasn't going to be a gimmick the channel people were playing or something. But it turned out to be a genuinely sweet moment. I love how Ankita was going W*F and trying to shut Sushant up in some bits when he was reciting all these cheesy lines! 😆 SO adorable! And Sushant was just loving getting to do all the nautanki and fit in that lame saat khoon maaf wala dialogue in between! 😆 And the mortification when Ankita calls him 'gugu'! 😆😆 I love the way Sushant hugs Ankita too...it's such an affectionate, protective and genuine sa hug! Aww these two are just so genuinely adorable! Makes you wanna be happy for them! :)

Feb. 15th:

Chang and Marisha: I'd appreciate the fact that Marisha tried to put together such varying dance forms! I liked the way Marisha attempted this. The paso doble was totally thanda though. Def. needed more aggression. The performance could've worked since the song was also intense and so that aggression could've been incorporated into the classical bits as well. But it didn't quite work out I guess. Also, Chang really couldn't pull off the whole matador personality. I'd say 8/10.

Yaana and Salman: Pretty entertaining. A different side to both Salman and Yaana too which was refreshing. The performance/gimmicks could've been cleaner though I felt. I'd say 8/10.

Mahi and Savio: I didn't find this one that bad. lol Maybe because my expectations aren't that high from these two also. But I think Mahi at this point is not into her performances much. She's a good actor, so expressions wise she could've enhanced the performance. She just lacks the overall energy and mood for her performances now I think. I think she's also realized that this is all she has to offer. lol. She was hilarious with the mimicking though! 🤣 And how she kept going, 'aur karoon?'...lol she's so adorable! 😆 Anyways for the performance I'd say 7/10 like always. :P

Ankita and Nishant: I loved Ankita in this performance! She was totally bindass and khul ke dancing! 😆 Despite some technical errors, I enjoyed this performance. Ankita's expressions and energy made the performance fun to watch! 😆 I'd say 8.5/10.

Sushant and Shampa: I loved the energy and fun these two brought to this performance. And the little flirting moments in between also enhanced the performance. I liked how Shampa kept the mood of the song as well as that carnival samba aspect of the dance style. I loved the spontaneity in the performance as well. I agree with Remo though about Sushant having too much energy in that solo bit of his. :P 😆 I also liked what Shampa had to say about why she chose these dance styles and Sushant's strengths. She's such an awesome choreographer all around! I'd give the performance a 9/10.

chang and Marisha- 8.5
It had the poteintial to be a 10/10 performance, the choreography was very well done but the protrayl brought the whole performance down,Agreed wit Remo the Paso double didn't have the agression it needed but I disagreed about the song mixing,i think marshica/chang wanted to do the performance without mixing the song which is a credit to marishca because choreography wise she did well
. I loved the starting and the part where chang danced with the cloth and the ending was good when chang draaged marischa...

mahi and savio-6.5
I was dissapoited yet again, but this time by savio,i think savio is a creative choreographer but he made a mistake in choosing salsa as one of the dance forms, they had done salsa before and judges had said that mahi was not good at it so i failed to understand why he picked that form again. Disco part was good though and i thought mahi looked pretty but i didn't like her costume. and can't beilve remo gave both mahi and chang 7,chang was much better.
i loved mahi's imiations, they were spot on...sushant and ankita's were brillant but Remo's was too good...'this is it' then he gives a 9🤣 thats was brillant.

yaana salman- 9
I loved the concept, and expressions where brillant,i nearly jumped out my seat when yana knocked the head off salman and only his neck was there, plus you could tell they were both full on enjoying it.

ankita and nishant- 7.5
Ankita was good but i felt we've seen her perform better, the girl can move though, the belly dancing part was welldone but for me the sambha wasn't that good and i also felt that the two dance forms didn't mix well enough. Ankita's costume seemed to be bothering her during the performance i could see the featherish skirt part kept coming in between her ankles.

sushant and shampa- 10
Shampa is just fabulous, always brings new things,Sushant was good as usual but Shampa is just something else. I loved the song, and i think that thier song selection was briilant. As soon as the music starts both of them forget that thier sushant and shampa, and get into thier performance that even the audience is drawn in,and that for me is called performing from the hear and soul.

Next week I think mahi and ankita will be in the bottom and mahi should be eliminated as much as i like her the standered of her dancing is weak compared to the others.

Won't go into details. but I found this week quite tepid in terms of the competition. Most performances were mediocre. Even the top performers did not bring in their A game. Its just surprising for me to see that even at this stage the level of performance is not really elevated.

overall this whole week was thanda...no one wowed me..and I was pissed and sad to see Ragini go😭😭😭 Sushita's proposal, Yana scaring Madhuri and Malika and Mahi's mimicry were the best part for me😆

Feb 14th

Face-off performances 9 for both-
meri Ragi pie😭😭😭 but whatever happened was for the best...she can concentrate on SGP...the bigger part of her life and I'm happy she got this far and improved so much. I felt that Yana and Ragini were on the same level....and Maliaka said it best....dance for Ragini and lifts for Yana...I loved that she walked away with grace and dignity👏

Chang-Marisha- 8
loved the song...but I thought it was mediocre for their standards...but their expressions were spot on.

Yana-Salam 8-
they both looked so cute and adorable...but I would have loved to see more dance

Ankita-Nishant-
8.5 this performance shows Ankita's caliber as an actress..loved her expressions and her movements...she is so graceful but her coordination was horribly off

Mahi-Savio 6..
..I like Mahi but its her time to go agreed with the judges...there was no nok-jhok on Savio's part

Sushant-Shampa 9-
I thought that Shampa had brilliantly choreographed it....the modern with a classical theme and their expressions esp Sushant's were soo cute😳 and the proposal... *sigh* can Sushita be more perfect😍

Feb 15th

Chang-Marisha 7 -
what the heck happened to Chang?? I mean I was so bored with the performance 20 secs into it...I thought hearing the concept that it might be good but I didn't like it

Yana-Salman 8-
Yana scaring Madhuri and Maliaka was the highlight for me😆😆 but after a while the whole gimmick became a bit OTT

Mahi-Savio- to be honest I missed the performance...but her mimicry was so cute😆😳 esp "eh vedi😆😆😆"

Ankita-Nishant 8- I thought the whole act was thanda....but my eyes were on Anki the whole time....just love to see her perform😍

Sushant-Shampa 10
- best performance of the night for sure....I love the way the guy moves...like seriously...and I loved how Malika praised Shampa....she deserved it👏
