Exacty!! This is so unjust !!! HE is trying his best and improving every time. BUT Judges are sticking to giving him the poor marks. As always, i feel its again SONY's intention as when someone famous participant receives less marks, fans send more and more number of votes, whcih finally gives the channel the required profit. Thats the reason why they making the judges do this everytime. They hyped it with his first performance and giving him a good set of marks but then, they started doing the reverse for the sake of their votes !!!!! Daya sir deserves surely more !! We CIDians are compromising Daya's sir's presence in CID for his success at JDJ and i would never wish him to wasting his precious time at a place where he people are being partial !!!

@nikitagmc, well said, but you are saying just in the way judges do.

He can't do heavier steps, thats why she used basic steps. And I dont think it was so basic, that is done by a kid. The lifts and hangs were charming.

Why they just called him in this platform? To see some classic bangra?????

@chinnu: But this show is about raising the bar, right Chinnu? If the choreographers don't give a little more than basic dancing, then how will Daya evolve?

Plus we have to also remember that others are putting a very big amount of effort too. They too have never done these sort of dances. Did you see Ankita's performance? That pot balancing part is really difficult, and even the part where she bends back. She is a daily soap actress yaar, and there was an outdoor shoot this week. How much would she have practiced and that too in so little time?

Even if we don't consider the fact that she is polished or not- the effort must be taken into consideration right? That pot balancing thing does not come in one day.

Plus, the justice to the choreography has to also be done. No one even knew of 'Chau'. When the article came, everyone was wondering what this dance form is. Shampa and Sushant did a lot of research on it yaar. Think about Robin (Krushna's choreo), she is from abroad, does not even know Hindi. She would also have researched a lot on Lavni.

As such, we would expect a little more from Vrushali, who was given a popular form like Bhangra, right?

Apart from that- the biggest problem was coordination. Even a simple performance done with grace can impress people like me. But today when Daya forgot steps, I just felt bad cos he was working so hard in the rehearsal.

More than the choreography, I think the coordination thing was what led to loss in marks, cos you simply cannot hide it. The lay man does not understand a lot about proper dance steps. But incoordination in a duet become impossible to hide even to someone who knows absolutely nothing about dance.

I think the judges were pretty encouraging in giving him 8 points and good comments.

well, if it is their sweet encouraging '8' then better he quit this show asap.

He is not here for improving his dance, and no one wants that. He is there for making this show popular among CIDians. I dont thing 'dappankoothu' is a great art form to get a maximum marks and I dont want to see him as a classic dancer. He will remain as he is, and let him quit this show, so that we also can stop watching this. Thats all. 😃

As you wish. 😊

Personally, I want to see him fighting out and surviving till the end. It would make the contest so much more interesting to see a non-dancer giving a tough competition to the trained ones. In the first season, Mahesh Manjrekar gave a tough fight to Mona and Sweta Salve and it was fab.

Vrushali is a fine choreographer. Daya has the rugged X-factor. Together, they can do very well.

Thankyou for taking my post sportingly. I normally don't post cos people tend to start fighting for their favourites rather than discussing dance. It was nice to know your views.

first of all a big 🤗 to chinnu.. u came up with a just what I was waiting for...
its high time that JDJ and specially SONY realise that there are MANY HERE watching JDJ ONLY FOR DAYA SIR..
we as CIDians marvel to notice such changes in Daya Sir's performances.. and we are VERY PROUD OF DAYA SIR ... Hatts off to you Daya Sir..👏 being a non-dancer Daya Sir has always maintained to make his presence felt on the dance floor..
PLEASE REMEMBER CIDians are made up of 13 long years of loyal viewship.. we are emotinally attached to the cast members .. and EVERYTHING CONCERNED TO THEM MATTERS TO US TOO...
Daya Sir has been improving with his week to week performances but why don't the marks improve..??
if JDJ is a stage for non-dancers celebrities.. so Daya Sir is rightly considered to the list.. and in this case its NOT FAIR to compare Daya Sir's performances with well known dancing celebrities... (no offense meant to any)

Thank you so much Chinnu for this. I agree, he is not a professional dancer. He is more of an entertainer and the judges judging him on the standards of his dance is not fair.
Competition should be among equals. This is an unfair competition.
They cannot bring in a celebrity and make a mockery of him by making him get low points every week. The 3 judges are professional dancers and they are looking at very high standards.
I love Daya a lot and cannot see him lose. At the same time, I have to be fair to other dancers. They have done a good job.
I am upset with the whole thing. 😔

IDK, there is definitely some foul play going on. First of all, lemme tell you Tellybuzz lowered my hopes sooo much, I thought he completely blanked out in the middle. But the truth is that he lost count in ONE single area. And Remo goes all out against that. Daya Sir at least deserved 2 more points, but the judges look like they have something personal against him. No one gives a damn that this 6 foot 3, 100+ kg person is doing somersaults, while someone like Akhil is gawking at the camera like an idiot.

The judges are well informed about Daya Sir's popularity. They know how much fans Daya Sir has/ So. they are giving him poor marks for may be two reasons :

1) They want to show Daya down and show that he is not good in dancing😡.
2)
They want to get the best of this popular guy😕😛.

But, if I've to choose one of them, I'll choose no. 1, because I feel they are doing this for the first reason only😡😡...
