See guys, present judges on JDJ3 are very much qualified to be a judge on a dance show. They have proven themselves to the world and have been or are the number 1 in bollywood. I am sure they pretty much know what is good and what is bad as far as dancing goes but my concern is that they are like puppets in the hands of show makers and channel authorities. They are being told to score the participants in a certain range and thus they do.

It is really disheartening to see those reputable judges being called names and criticized by IF forum members. I find it ridiculous to see people bash such eminent personalities (judges) in order to favor and support their favorite TV stars. Its a shame!!

I repeat what I have told perviously as well, the channel and show makers have a plan - they analyze the voting scenario, TRPs and few other similar things and base their decisions on them to either make cleverly edited avis or to score the participants to suit themselves.

I just wish that judges remained loyal to their job. Before they signed the contract, they should make it clear that they will judge on their own and won't take any pressure from anybody - whatsoever! But the world is not that simple and to make things happen, there is a lot of activity which goes behind the curtain (and under the table!!)

Thanks for reading!

but how can these people agree to it
with the position they have in the industry
dont they think they are spoiling it completely
why dont they just put thier hands up
this was not the case in last two seasons
why is it so this time

Thanks for your response. I think TV channels and Bollywood are getting connected to each other at various levels. Earlier Bollywood was an independent entity but now it depends on TV for its existence. So, it is more like 'give and take' thing between these film personalities and TV channels. They compromise on a level where it works well for both of them. Also, money makes the monkey dance 😊

I completely favour judges for what they are doing. They are NOT even a bit partial while making any judgement.

India's public wants that the show should be judged not only on the grounds of dancing skills but also on good looks, popularity, personality, cuteness etc. so judges are judging in that way only, as per indian public's wish. They involve cuteness, personality etc. while they judge so its ENTIRELY FAIR!!!

Thanks for your response!

Actually what you are saying is correct that judging is kind of based on popularity, cuteness etc etc but again I want to underscore the fact that before coming to JDJ3 these judges knew almost nothing about these participants - their knowledge about these participants comes from the show makers and channel authorities. So, it comes back to the same thing that judges are not responsible for any discrepancies observed in scoring pattern because they are assisting 'behind-the-curtain-people' in achieving their goals!!

Nisha I agree with what you said about Biachung - he is a very honest person - somebody who slowly grew in our hearts with his cuteness, sweet sense of humor, no BS and improved dancing...I adore him too but I have always stated that may be he deserved something close to 30 but not a perfect 30.

Well this way we'll go off the topic so I would like to comment more on the judges here.

I agree that SK doesn't have as pleasing a personality as her choreographies but that doesn't mean we can call her names and insult her just because one of our favorite is not being scored 30.

Well I kinda disagree - I think to be a judge, you need to be the master of the game. In my opinion, both SK and VM have proved themselves to be the master of Indian dance and are highly qualified to be the judge of JDJ3 dance show.

And I agree with first part of your message where you say that no participant is particularly favored here....I agree with that because these contestants mean nothing to the channel but a source of making money and gaining TRPs so which ever contestant can bring them the same in whatever way possible - that will be applied........in the process, none of the contestant is ever safe or protected!!

I dont think judges are doing anything wrong. They are right and I'm with them on their decisions.

Its really sad to see that how some people around are throwing blames on judges and Baichung only cuz their favs are not getting full marks and baichung is getting them.

There is no point of blaming baichung or judges insted if you want your favs to get judged like baichung then first let your favs reach upto his level. By saying this I not only mean dancing but everything. Also I dont really care about who are throwing this. Hard kaur and gauhar r my fav but I too accept that baichung merits what he is gettin.

I do not think that judges favor anybody as I believe that they do not have personal interest in growth or victory of any of these participants. They are paid to do their job and being guided to steer the show in a particular direction by the higher authorities.

I reiterate - Judges are just the mediators of decision taken by channel and other authorities.

Audience is being manipulated by these authorities by showing badly edited avis and unjustifiable scoring!

Please understand the reality and try to enjoy the dancing instead of fighting with each other for issues that do not even exist!!
