There is no country better suited to its fantastic mix of amazing dancing and compelling celebrity stories than India. But we never stand still with this show, and this year we have a whole host of surprises up our sleeves to keep viewers entertained."
Talking about the launch of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 - Dancing with the Stars, Gurdip Bhangoo, Programming Head of Sony Entertainment Television said: "This grand and glamorous show is as much about live-wire personalities and the fun and fusion of dance, as it is about the 'dare to experiment' behind the glamour. It's not just about the usual suspects going through all-too-familiar routines, but about the performance and pain of public figures who are not trained dancers, and the fantastic journey they undertake to prove themselves."
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 - Dancing with the Stars voting pattern will follow a 50: 50 ratio for judges and audiences. The bottom two pairs of the week will have to do a face off after which the judges will eliminate one pair.
So get set to watch the magician actually spring a surprise on the viewers while the veteran cricketer stumps one and all with his off the field moves and the controversial director tries hard to find his feet on the ground while his partner calls the shots.

Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is the only Dance Reality Show where the animosity between the contestants is bare minimum, there is no uncanny drama to feed the huger of TRPs. The show is simple and it sticks to its format of bringing out the hidden talent and the journey of self discovery especially when you have a mentor in your partner. We have seen tremendous turnaround of Mona Singh and Prachi Desai. But the fight Sandhya Mridul and Shweta Salve gave these girls to win the competition was restricted to the dance floor on the contrary they were well wisher for each other.
The spirit of competition is being crushed by these ugly tactics of collecting TRPs. Dancing Queen has its judges who bash contestants for a good show (Hema Malini got upset with a comic version of Basanti and Gabbar). And the infamous fight in Zara Nachke Dikha that was flashed all over TV News. And how can one forget Nach Baliye and the sloppy story every time and this time around
