I would blame the channel here, it seems like they used her in the end. We all know from articles that she decided to quit a while ago but it seems as if they channel told her to stay and announce it at the finale to amp up the drama.

She was obviously injured. Her face seemed to be a little swollen so there is no denying that she got hurt. In the end I do agree that she should have stayed and let the audience decide but I guess she saw what people on IF had to say as well as what Bharti said about Isha getting unfair treatment so it seems that for the sake of not having to hear more bs from people and just to stay on the safe side so she doesn't hurt herself even more she decided to quit.

I was putting this from before

She should have withdrawn herself from competition when he injured her elbow so badly...and stop asking judges for time...
The injury of this magnitude requires complete rest...but she insisted in doing acts... Some may call it brave but I call it foolish!!!

She could have exaggerated her situation...and thats what happened now...
If my friend/ relative was in such situation i would have said big fat NO!!!
Competitions come and going, you have to take care of yourself first. And can perform better in future...

I really felt bad when I saw her...she was sort of demoralized because of this incident and injury on face...

I hope she recovers soon...

Arre Y dis hoopla over all dis drama for TRP. I haven't seen the epi, but frm all the discussions going on, it is evident tht Isha's withdrawing was dramatised by Colors' and person wid an iota of sense would realise tht each and every person acted according to the script - judges, contestants and anchors. It's not like Isha while live shooting was going on suddenly decided tht she was quitting. She must have informed the channel and channel for whom TRP and hence money is the bottom line milked Isha's withdrawing for all it is worth.
This simply shows tht Isha meant TRP and dat's wht the channel exploited.
As far as Salman is concerned, I wont comment as we really don't know what happened behind the scenes and I don't want to speculate. Also however much the coreographer is part of the team, it is finally the contestants who are in the limelight. In all the eliminations the focus was on the contestant and not on the choreo, so y blame Isha if Salman was sidelined? Also in my POV Isha Salman had a beuatiful understanding tht I presume goes beyond dancing, so it seems highly unlikely tht Isha left Salman in a lurch deliberately. I know tht is speculation, but I'm doing it in a positve light.😃

Hey cl0wn, I read your comments and felt that it was harsh I would like you to answer my few ques, its regarding the events that has happened with Isha and Salman

1. Why were the foreign choreographer brought to JDJ? There was only one performance by them.
Were they brought to injure Isha and Salman?

2. How come Salman got in to a tussle with policeman, didn't he know who he was since the programme was running for 4 months? was he trying to injure him

3. Why did Karan Johar in one of his comments say he wanted to see Isha and salman getting less than 30 Marks?

4. Finally one more ques why was rashmi was allowed to perform in the finals since she was eliminated yesterday? Also if u could recall the judges said there would be just 2 finalists this time why this sudden change?

The events that has happened with Isha and Salman might have prompted them to take this decision since they do not want to risk their life for it. Unless the above ques will be answered who ever wins the show would be a farce.

Isha performed with broken arm..so we know her dedication..I am sure if she was even an inch better..she would have but her face was swollen..indicating it was a fresh injury..tht too on face..so its good she withdrew..afterall..jaan hai toh jahan hai 😊

But the withdrawal was unfair to ppl who voted fr her..Channel should hv taken care of it when isha announces that there will b no more dance by her.

A piece from his latest interview ...he surely was never part of this ...he wanted to win ..after all the hardwork ..

Coming to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, do you regret Isha Sharwani's decision to withdraw at the last moment?

I was very upset and disappointed. Whenever I take up something, I am in it to win it. I am a very competitive person. It's just the way I was born. Talking just about me – I am a fighter. I have never backed out of anything I have taken up – no matter what the situation was. I give it my all. I had put in a lot of time, effort and patience into the show. I knew that Isha is a brilliant dancer and I could use her to her full potential to achieve the title. So yes, I was disappointed. Nonetheless, I have made my peace with it now.

Did you try convincing Isha?

Yes I did. I tried my best, but it was just not meant to be. Jhalak this season was not in my naseeb (fate) that's how I take it.

He has moved on ...n so his fans !!! supported isha for him ...i wish she cud have made me support her further ...but she let us down 1!!

^^^Ah Varsha I can understanf ur disappointment and agree dat Salman is a fighter and after performing so well throughout, he must have really fancied his and Isha's chances of winning JDJ5.
But IMO JDJ is finally for the contestants and not the choreo and even if they had won, it would hv been more Isha's vistory. Salman was, like all other choreos, the support. See even know everyone is talking abt GC's victory and Shampa is just the footnote. But having said tht, must say tht for the choreos though their name is not on the trophy, but their contestants victory is a victory for them as well. Hope Salman moves on and acheives much greater success and so does Isha.😊

@red thats ur pov ... i respect that ...but many of the ppl supported isha for salman ... n i wud have supported him only...if he was with gia or pratyusha ... 😆 Winning is something a man craves for ..weathr he is any field ...n he put the same amount of hardwork ..blood and sweat as Isha did ...so it was disppointing from her part to make sole decision i mean how u could?? ...n that too it was not for her injury or something ...😡
Well he has moved on ...n so we are as he said ... ..Take care 😊

Yes JDJ is more about the contestants than choreographers, but in Salman's case he did such a fabulous job with Isha that he had as much of a presence as her. For both of them, I always felt like they were a team and neither could do without the other. They were equal partners. For Gurmeet and Shampa, Gurmeet is so popular and in the last few weeks Shampa has been more in the background. Something is up with Gurmeet and Shampa, they seemed to have lost some of the spark together. Gurmeet also brings so much in his acting and expressions that they had a bigger presence than Shampa, even though Shampa is a very good dancer. So if GC wins Shampa is forgotten a bit, but if Isha wins Salman is an equal partner mainly due to the dance, concepts, and chemistry.
