Vinay's double 'B'onanza

Theatre and TV actor Vinay Jain was most noticed as Aryan in 'Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin' and as Daksh in 'Karam Apna Apna' (Star Plus).
But the actor is now on a different high as he has shot with both Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan for two different films in a span of three months.
Vinay has just returned from Prague after shooting with Abhishek for Goldie Behl's 'Drona'.
"I play a pivotal character who knows the mystery behind Abhishek's character (paired opposite Priyanka Chopra)," he reveals. Did Bachchan Jr, known for his pranks, play any on him?
"Not really! Rather, Abhi kept us entertained all the while with his wisecracks," he replies.
Vinay continues, "We had a blast with the international crew there. We shot at exotic locales also seen in the recent James Bond film 'Casino Royale'. We celebrated a freezing Christmas there but the city's festive spirit was so warm!"
Vinay was also delighted that some foreigners who had watched 'Jassi' recognised him and asked for his autograph.
Vinay has also had the privilege to work with Amitabh in the forthcoming film 'Cheeni Kum'.
"I play Amitji's neighbour in the film whose eight-year-old daughter is suffering from a terminal disease. She shares a unique bond with him. She is the only one who can bully his otherwise larger-than-life character," says Vinay.
Of his challenging role he adds, "I portray the agony of a father who is slowly losing his only child."
Incidentally, Vinay will be performing for two plays soon. While 'Two to Tango' has Tanaaz Lal, 'Shararat' boasts of Shweta Tiwari.
"All 'shoots' and no 'plays' makes one a dull boy", quips Vinay justifying his passion for live drama.
