Back home, JandA soberly convey the news about Jassi's hospital confinement to the family. Everyone looks serious; but Bebe lightens them up by saying, "Chalo achcha hai…yeh Jassi, meri aur Amrit ki toh kuch sunti nahin…ab hospital wale hi iss zabardasti khaana khilayenge….nahin toh sau nakhre karti hai yeh…..!"
Jassi goes "Aww Bebe!" and hugs her tight😳. Armaan looks down, trying to hide his wan face. After a while he sighs, gets up and goes outside. Jassi slowly follows him.
Once they leave, Ila gazes carefully around the room before saying, "Achcha hai dono baahar chale gaye…..ab hum sab log plan kar sakte hai!"
Meghna: Haan! Good thing ki Jassi Tuesday tak yahaan hi hai…..nahin toh hum theek se celebrate nahin kar paate….
Angel looks blankly at the others, who have apparently been plotting something while they were in town. "Plan…celebrate……why? Tuesday ko aisa kya special hai?"😕
Ila glares at her. "Angel! Don't tell me tum bilkul bhool gayi..!"
Angel frowns desperately, trying to remember, when Puru takes pity on her and says, "Beta, Tuesday ko Armaan ka…."
Angel: (giving herself a little whack on the head) ……birthday hai! Of course! How stupid of me!
Meg: Hmmmm…! Aur hum log uske liye kuch special plan kar rahe hai…..bas ek baar Jassi hume akele mil jaaye, toh usse bhi sab kuch samjhaa denge…..
Jassi, meanwhile, is standing a little behind Armaan, who is gazing disconsolately at the fields beyond. She puts her hand on his shoulder.
Armaan: Jassi…inko toh kuch yaad nahin…..ki Tuesday ko…..
Jassi: (coming up to face him) Armaan……shaayad meri hospital trip ke chakkar mein ubke dimaag se nikal gaya hoga…..please don't feel bad Armaan!
Armu: (taking both her hands and holding them close to his heart😳) Lekin Mom-Dad ko toh yaad hona chahiye tha na Jassi….
Jassi: (sighing) Armaan…iss waqt sab log mujhe le kar thode tense hai….achcha chodo…mujhe toh yaad hai na….
Armu: Haan Jassi……(looking forlornly into her eyes)…aur ussi din tumhe hospital bhi jaana hai….hum log yeh din bhi saath mein nahin manaa payenge!😭
Jassi: (hugging him) Aisa mat kaho Armaan…..tum mujhe chodne toh aaoge na….hum log, shehr pahunch kar, hospital jaane se pehle, thodi der saath-saath ghoomenge….ab toh smile kar do na….!
He breaks into a grin at her fervour and envelopes her in his strong grasp.😳😳❤️
Later, as Jassi goes inside alone, Bebe, Bua and Amrit surround her.
Bua: (whispering conspiratorially) Armaan kahaan hai??
Jassi: (taken aback) Baahar….car ke tyres check kar rahe hai…..lekin kyun….
Ila hustles up, looking just as secretive as the others. "Good! Toh ab hum log tumhe saara plan samjhaa sakte hai..!"
Jassi: (mystified) Plan….???
Amrit: Haan beta….Armaan ka janamdin manaane ka plan!
Jassi looks for a second at each of them in turn, then grins.
"Oh….toh yeh pakaa rahe ho aap log…! Armaan ko pata nahin ki unka birthday kitna special hone waala hai!"😛
