Well, for those who missed Mona's dance, here is an update:

There was this section where 4 actresses danced to Bollywood numbers down the years. First Aashka came on with a couple of Vaijyanthimala numbers, and must say, she is really graceful and elegant. 👏 👏 👏

Then Mona came on and when the audience saw her, there was this huge cheer that rose up. 😛 She was dressed in a 60s style outfit (High heels, churidar et al) and danced to first "Aaja aaja" and then "Aajkal tere mere pyaar te charche..". Admittedly, she did look broad, but was very cute and vivacious and looked rather like a schoolgirl on stage. But issshhhhhh......they kept flashing KO's face, grinning broadly at her sight. 😡 Heck, even her nephew was sitting in his lap!! This chap is surely leaving no stone unturned! 😉

Apart from that, Shama Sikandar danced to Kajra re; i enjoyed her performance but my mom didn't like the "raunchiness" of the act. I think AAshka was by far the best of all the lot. 😊


For a good laugh, i will refer anyone to RK's repartee with Sumeet Raghavan (the guy who plays Sudhnashu's ghostly friend on Akela) , who came dressed first as Devdas (SRK), Thakur (Sanjeev Kumar) and then Salim (Dilip Kumar), and raised laughter by his blatant attempts to hit on RK. 😆 RK's sari was splendid but the halter neck top didn't really suit her.

MOna was scowling ever since she returned to her seat....maybe she was put off by KO's attempts to suck up to her family!

The most striking part was when Archana-PArmeet came on to promote JDJ. They were cracking jokes and entertaining people....then Parmeet announced Mona's name among the contestants and that very moment, Archie face closed up and there was not a glimmer of a smile on her face. Well, i always suspected they were not on good terms (and we know why, don't we? 😉 ), but for heaven's sake, lady, you were on stage and acting like that is really insulting! 😡 No wonder Mona wasn't smiling back! I think Parmeet likes Mona but Archie doesn't by a long shot!

In the end, all the participants went on stage and MOna was there in a full-sleeved top and black capris. She looked good but very lost. 😭 I don't know what to say except, "Get a grip, girl!"

Thanks moni. I watched the show. Mona looked like "chulbuli girl" 😃 but she put up weight again 😭 since Apu is not with her regular to control her over eating habit. 😭

I think she will again fit till JDJ 😃

All i can say is that i saw KO's hair and just 😆 It just came so naturally eventhough I expecting something lol. And yeah, I wonder how Mona's going to be dancing on JDJ cuz her dancing was ooookayyy in this show, but not good enough to stay long in a show meant strictly for dance. I'm sure she was trying, but some ppl can dance and some can't.
