I have to point out that there is nothing original about BLF either.

What is new about it? To me it is just another rehashed Harlequin plot of a reformed playboy and an ordinary girl who has a makeover.

The theme of Good vs. Evil is something which will NEVER go away; it is a part of life and its complications.

Sure, it is stereotypical. But so is Harlequin. I guess it depends on which kind of stereotype one prefers.

After reading all these posts the way I see it is that armaan isn't like the devil himself btu isn't a devta or my ideal guy either.

I understand where armaan_luver is coming from... I think she wants to say that no body's perfect and everyone deserves another chance and forgiveness. This is true and armaan isn't actually a bad person. If you think of it he actually did alot for jassi. He bought her a car, made her a secratary to person assistant to finance head to CEO of his company! Even though his intentions weren't good for any of it you need to give him some credit for that. So he isn't a bad charecter, let me rephrase that: he wasn't a bad charecter until T & D completly isolated his kindness.

The reason we have this hatred in our hearts for him is because he heart jassi's heart so much and used her for his selfish reasons. What made us hate his charecter even more was when they brought in purab and showed the comparision of how this billionare guy loves this girl so much despite her looks and how this other guy treats her like crap. So if we compare those two then armaan is the devil himselfand there is no sympathy for him.

I think that they have really ruined armaan's charecter and make us feel "he doesn't deserve another chance" kind of a way. And if armaan ends up marrying jassi I will be vey dissapointed, only though because of purab. I can't stand to see a person who is so honest, lovable and such a nice hearted person end up with losing the thing he treasures the most. It would just be heart- breaking for many of us if that happened but only because we love purab too much, not that much because of jassi.

And we shouldn't relate JJKN to BLF because they already alternated and changed the story to much. In BLF armando's charecter was no where as bad as armaans in JJKN.

Especially when my dad thinks that movies like Musje Shaadi KArogi are genius while good ones like Armaan, and Phir Milenge, and Kal Ho Na HO are sh*t. I think the opposite. Think about it. Why didn;t Rakht do well? Cause there was no damn love story- the movie was GREAT! It is frustrating when I ask 'so what hapenned at the end of Main Hoo Ha'? and all I get is 'they ended up together' HELLO?? There was much more to the story!

Mystica- Harlequinn novels? That has nothing to do with JJKN whatsoever. I am refering to Indian audiences and Indian Drama and how people are not very accepting of anything different. These romance novels are staples in the states. Romance novels Have nothing to do with JJKN or indian TV .

PJ04.. Jassi has always been in love with Armaan. The writers are totally messed up and have forgtotten that angle.

There really is no comparison of JJKN to BLF anymore.

JJKN is a disorgnaized show with messed up characters and writers that take us for fools. 2 head of companies marrying? RIVAL companies? Weird. HM and Purab willing to help Jassi out in business at any cost? HIGHLY unrealistic and strange. A receptionist asking for CEO and getting it at the snap of a finger? PLEASE!

JJKN has used to be good and used to have great ratings.

BLF on the other was a beautiful story which people loved all the way through and appreciated.
