Jamunia (Played By Bhavana Khatri)
An 18yr old girl, orphaned at a very early age. Post the demise of her parents; Jamunia started living at her maternal grandfather's house with her mamas & mamis. Upset at having to feed yet another mouth; her cunning mamas & mamis started exploiting Jamunia in every possible manner. However, due to her simplicity & naivety Jamunia never looked upon her life as a life of exploitation. Her loyalty makes her love her family dearly & she is ever ready to help & support them in any given situation.
Bodhan (Played By Phool Singh)
Jamunia's elder mama. He is a cunning, selfish & an extremely greedy man. Bodhan makes a show of his false love & concern towards Jamunia in order to treat her like a slave. He manipulates Jamunia's love towards her family to achieve his selfish ends & utilizes her as a medium to earn money.
Ramlali (Played by Bharti)
Jamunia's elder mami. She hates Jamunia & leaves no stone unturned to make her life miserable. She holds Jamunia responsible for everything which goes wrong in the house. She desires to rid of Jamunia as soon as possible. Extremely selfish & greedy, she hopes to get her daughter married into a very big & rich house.
Lakhan (Played by Ajay Pal)
Bodhan's younger brother. He is slightly slow on the uptake & often ends up blurting out things at the wrong time & place. He is married to Ramlali's younger sister – Shivkali. He supports Bodhan & Ramlali in their attitude & approach towards Jamunia.
Shivkali (Played by Saronika)
Lakhan's wife & Ramlali's younger sister. She is as greedy & selfish as Ramlali. This often makes both sisters fight incessantly & curse each other. However, they come together to exploit & ill treat Jamunia. Like Ramlali, she too wishes to get her daughter married to a good home.
Batori (Played by Preeta Jain)
Batori is Bodhan & Ramlali's daughter. She wants to live a lavish life & seeks a good looking & rich husband. She is extremely jealous of Jamunia's inherent beauty. She constantly keeps cursing Jamunia & leaves no stone unturned to get Jamunia into trouble
Chatori (Played by Akansha Gilani)
Chatori is Lakhan & Shivkali's daughter. The 2 loves in her life are eating & making fun of Jamunia. She often stokes Batori's ire against Jamunia & helps Batori in making Jamunia's life difficult.
Jai Thakur (Played By Gaurav Sharma)
An orphan brought up by his Tau Thakur Gajraj Singh. Jai is honest, simple & extremely good at heart. He has tremendous love & respect towards his Tau & his elder brothers. However, when he believes that his family is doing something unjust or wrong he respectfully voices his dissent.
Thakur Gajraj Singh (Played By Mohan Joshi)
The richest and most powerful man of Rajapur; Thakur Gajraj Singh is an extremely strong willed & often ruthless man. A highly superstitious man; Gajraj Thakur is desperate to undo the effects of the curse which has befallen his house. He aspires for a heir to his family & leaves no stone unturned in his attempts to fulfill his dream.
Harihar Thakur (Played By Nagesh Salwan)
Harihar is Gajraj's younger brother. He is constantly by Gajraj's side & follows him like his shadow. He obeys every order & dictate of Gajraj without even the slightest dissent. He silently aspires to take the Thakur's place some day.
Bali (Played By Daksh Ajit Singh)
Bali is the eldest son of Thakur Gajraj Singh. He is a man who believes in muscle power & is blessed with tremendous physical might. He holds his father in the highest regard & dutifully obeys all his order.
Awadh Thakur (Played By Manmohan Tiwari)
Harihar's son. He is the only Thakur who is fun loving & flirtatious. He is a romantic, loves women & has a tremendous way with words. His brazenness often puts the shy & soft spoken Jai in a spot.
