Chapter 4
"Disha ,you can sleep in my room." Siddharth told her and she pretended to be shocked and immediately put an hand on his arms.
Roshni was boiling in jealousy as was clear from her face. She looked at them and she got shocked listening Disha's reply.
"Then where will Roshni sleep Khurrana?" she asked and Roshni was about to go slap her when she felt a tug on her hand.
She turned around and saw Siddharth holding her hand. He looked at her and passed a small smile assuring everything is fine.
"Don't worry ,we will adjust." he said and went away holding Roshni. She went behind him ,tagging along.
Once they both were out of earshot Disha started laughing hard imagining Roshni's jealous face. She loved to do this!
"I have to clear off whatever misunderstanding is between them." she said determined and went in Siddharth's room.
Meanwhile in Roshni's room
"What is her problem? This friend of yours." she gritted her teeth in annoyance while he enjoyed her expressions which were so lovely.
"Are you jealous?" he asked and she turned around fiercely and he got scared seeing her but knew this was all due to her possessive nature.
"You and your best friend have always shared quite homely relations. Why should I feel jealous?" she questioned thickly and he was confused regarding the change in her tone.
She started to go away with her pillow and mattress when he held her hand and pulled her closer. He wanted some answers of her recent behaviour.
"What do you mean by homely relations?" he asked and she shivered as his breath fell on her neck making it difficult to breathe ,let alone answer.
She got pulled into him ,everything about him attracted her immensely. She leaned in and so did he ,they both forgot what they were talking about.
He nuzzled in her neck and her scent lured him ,she was too good to resist. He wanted to tell her he loved her at that moment.
He left her and started kissing her face as if he was worshiping her and she was having tears in her eyes seeing the amount of love he held for her.
He wiped off her tears with his hands carefully while she kissed his cheeks in a daze. She was loving the feeling of being so close to him and so was he.
"I love you." he confessed leaning into her and she was giving in but hearing him she jerked off. He was startled to see the sudden change.
"You say this to every other girl ,I assume?" she asked and he was shocked at her words. He couldn't believe she thought so low of him.
"You think this about me?" he asked downtrodden and the next moment the hurt was replaced by anger. He pushed her to the wall.
She was stunned but gathered herself and pushed him back. They started pushing each other with anger when he couldn't take it anymore and pinned her to the wall.
"What else will I think after I see this?" she asked showing her phone to him. It started playing a voice message and he was shocked hearing it.
"Just see what your dear Boyfriend is doing in Hotel Raddison with his best-friend." it said and his eyes popped out hearing the voice.
"Rithwik??" he questioned and she nodded her head. He threw his hands up in the air in disbelief ,he couldn't believe the fact that Rithwik had betrayed him and all this while was pretending to be a friend to him.
"And you think this was true?" he asked throwing a glass on the floor below. She was frightened by the voice of the glass breaking and the anger in his voice.
"Tell me ,did you believe this and hate me because of this?" he asked shaking her violently by her shoulders. She took her phone and showed him a video next.
It shook him to the core and he wanted to cry seeing this. How could he be played like this? He hit his hand on the mirror and it broke into pieces.
"So you believed this video but not your boyfriend?" he asked pouncing on her like an angry lion and she backed off seeing his red eyes.
"You know what we are officially finished today. I want a divorce from you ,you don't trust me a bit. You didn't seem it was important to come and talk to me." he said frustrated at the events folding in front of him.
"Oh and what justification would you have had of Disha like this with you? You were helping her out?" she asked angrily.
He was about to raise his hand but stopped at time and went away not wanting to hurt himself anymore by raising his hand on her.
Disha saw him rushing out and went in the room only to see a broken Roshni crying on floor. She went and sat beside her putting a hand on her shoulders to console her.
Roshni saw her and immediately jerked from her touch ,she wanted to stay away from her. She couldn't tolerate the sight of this woman.
"What happened Roshni? Talk to me." Disha tried to make her talk but in vain ,the next moment a phone landed in her lap.
Roshni had shoved her phone in her hand and Disha was in tears seeing the video playing on it. Roshni couldn't understand the reason she was crying.
"Why are you crying? Now my husband will leave me for you ,be happy." she told taunting but Disha's tears reached another level.
Roshni was stunned now and started to console Disha. She was scared seeing her crying this way ,while Disha succumbed to Roshni for help.
"I'll tell you what happened that day." Disha started and as much as it hurt her talking about that night she had to do it for Siddharth and Roshni.
FLASHBACK
"Siddharth ,come to Hotel Raddison fast." Disha said to a wailing Siddharth. She was scared for her best friend ,what could have happened to him.
After a few hours
"Disha!!" he came in and saw her devasted ,crying and immediately hugged her. She pushed him fear visible in her eyes.
He knew something major had happened with her so he took her in his arms and made her lie down on the bed. She tugged at his hand and he came stumbling back on her.
He was on top of her when she hugged him and cried her heart out. Disha was emotionally drained out. Siddharth kissed her forehead and put her to sleep.
PRESENT
"You know what had happened with me? Rithwik had trued to force himself on me." she stammered as she spoke the truth.
"I couldn't tell this to Siddharth. He would have killed him ,I told him it was boyfriend problem. He was skeptical but gave me my space and never asked again knowing it was a sensitive topic for me." Disha revealed still in a pool of tears.
Roshni hugged her and was totally guilt stricken. She felt sick of herself after hearing Disha speaking all this. She couldn't get her to forgive herself.
"I am so sorry ,I thought all this about you. I feel sick in my head ,I want to die for thinking Siddharth cheated me." she spoke in regret.
"You don't have to be sorry Roshni. Its all due to that Rithwik. I wish I had told Siddharth about Rithwik before." Disha consoled her.
"But why did you call Siddharth to meet you that day?" she asked and Disha pointed at her ,while Roshni was not getting anything.
"Because of you ,he got to know about your lie. He wanted to share his grief with me. The grief which is buried in him till now." Disha explained and now it all fit to Roshni.
"Yash used me to trap Siddharth and Siddharth heard us talking but heard everything partially only. He thought I used him and called you trying to get a shoulder to cry on. Rithwik messaged me saying Siddharth was with you and then this video. I misunderstood him ,he misunderstood me and we didn't even give each other a chance to talk and.." she couldn't complete as she was crying uncontrollably now.
"What happened was a bad fate for both of you. But you forgot to speak one thing Roshni ,you both were in love with each other and you still are. 1 year has changed nothing but all has changed in this 1 day." she said gathering her for a hug.
"Talk to him and tell him what you feel for him." Disha spoke still hugging her but felt Roshni shaking her head negatively.
"He doesn't deserve a girl like me." she spoke in between sobs. Disha rocked her to calm her and held her teary face in her hands.
"Listen ,I don't know what he deserves but he loves you. He will be happy with you! Don't spoil it." Disha said making her look in her eyes.
"I will get him back. I love him!" she said and dialled his number. He didn't pick it up and the irritation was evident on her face.
"I'll try." Disha spoke helping her and he took it in two rings ,the next thing she heard from the other end shook her up. She was now scared ,scared to tell Roshni the truth.
