Khurana Mansion
Siddharth was whistling away while he was settling his hair in front of the mirror.
"You are looking handsome dude!" he said to his mirror self.
"Aaj toh Roshni puri flat ho jaegi mujhe dekh kar.." he grinned "Let's see how long will she be able to resist my good looks!" he winks at himself.
He notices his phone lying on the bed and picks it up, "Ahh.. let's have some fun" he smirked and dialed her number. It keeps on ringing but no one picks up the call.
"Arre!! Yeh kya batameezi hai!!" he said irritably "Zarur Sasumom ne taang araayi hogi!" he pouts.
"Ek baar Roshni mere ghar aa jaye, fir gin ke badla lunga main Sasumom se!!" he smiled mischievously.
Keeping his phone inside his pocket he goes out of his room towards his parents, and knocks.
"Dadd!! Momm!! Come on hurry up!! How much time will you take to get ready? We will get late!!" he yelled.
Raj opens the door and scans Siddharth from top to bottom.
"Tu ready hogaya!!" he said.
"You have still not worn your sherwani?!" said an astonished Siddharth.
"We still have an hour!" said Simran from the back.
"No. We have 15 minutes! That is all you got! If you get ready by that time then well and good! If not then main akele ghodi pe charke bhaga lunga usse!!" he said in a serious tone.
"Tujhe badi jaldi machal rahi hai, puttar" teased Raj.
"So? First of all she is not here with me because of you guys, now I just want her to be by my side each and every second of my life." he said with pride.
"Puri zindagi ki...ya aaj raat ke liye you are in so much hurry?" whispered Raj.
"Daad!! 15 minutes!!" he said sternly and turns with a grin on his face.
Patel House
"Arre maa, I told you to stay with Roshni! Why are you roaming here?" said DD. She was stressed out as the Khurana's had already left their home and would arrive any minute.
"Durgaa.. tu shaant ho ja... why are you getting tensed?? Everything is fine now. The arrangements are perfect. You just need to relax and calm down warna tera BP high ho jaega... then instead of a wedding we will need to go to the hospital!" teased Nani.
"But Roshni..." said DD.
"She is in her room.. I just came out.. she... she wanted to be alone for sometime so I thought to give her some space." said Nani nervously hiding the truth from her daughter.
"Space? Kahin Siddharth toh.." started DD as her mind raced.
"Arre no! From where will Siddharth come here!! Tu bhi na sirf Siddharth ke peeche pari rehti hai.." said Nani irritably.
"Ok, i will just check on -" she gets cut as she hears people shouting that the baraat had arrived.
Everyone gathers around the entrance as they reach the top floor. Siddharth winks at his Sasumom playfully as he comes near her.
"Wow..you are looking sexy.." he said looking at her to which she glares at him and he continues, "...Nani Ma" with a grin now looking at Nani.
"I am rethinking now, how about I marry you instead of Roshni?" he chuckled as Nani pulled his ears.
DD does all the rituals at the gate while the Jamai-Saas banter away pulling each other's leg. At last Siddharth is made to sit in the hall and DD goes to bring Roshni.
But something else was stored for them that day. She opened the door only to find the room empty. All tensed she walks back to the hall and says, "Roshni is not in her room"
"Nice one Sasumom. But abh main aur intezaar nahi kar sakta, please meri biwi ko bula dijiye!!" he said playfully.
"I am not joking, she is not there! Maa, didn't I tell you not to leave her??" she rushed her words anxiously.
"What?" he gets up and goes inside the room to check for himself.
There were papers littered on the floor, he picks one up and immediately understands what must have happened. In anger he comes out with them and says,
"Who gave this to her?" he looks at DD and says, "Aapko chain nahi hai na?" he continued rudely.
"What are those?" asked DD ignoring his rudeness and snatches the letters from his hand.
"I had.." said Nani meekly.
"Nani ma... what have you done?? She left... god knows where!! Aapko yahi din mili thi usse yeh stupid letters dene ke liye??!" said Siddharth irritably.
"Siddharth..." started Nani.
"You have also been influenced by SasuMom I guess!" he teased and pulls her cheeks.
"Umm.. I'll go search for her.." he continued as he turned to leave.
"Even we are coming with you.." said Raj and the others nodded.
"No, please!! You guys have done enough already... aaplogo ke firse shaadi' ke chakkar mein main kunwara na ban jayu firse!!" he said flatly and left.
Beach
She was sitting hugging her knees while gazing at the blackness in front of her. Her eyes were puffy from the crying that she had done, she had no energy left inside her to even get up. She was drowning in her guilt waiting for someone to come and save her. To be precise, she was not waiting for someone but only him.
She knew he would find her sooner or later, he always had. Her heart wanted him to be by her side and provide her the warmth of love that she was craving whereas her mind did not want him to be hers anymore. Just at that moment someone sits beside her, staring at what she was looking at without saying anything. She didn't have to turn to look who it was.
"If you didn't wanna get married again you could have informed me, main itna tayyar hokar aaya.." he said playfully looking up in front. He removes the drop of fresh tear which rolled down her cheeks and says looking at it,
"Are you trying to give tough competition to the sea with your crying? Seems like the sea has already accepted defeat that is why the water is calm!!" he taunted playfully further.
But Roshni doesn't reply and keeps mum. After a while,
"I hate you!!" she said and rubbed her nose looking at the other side.
"Oh really, well we share the same sentiments then." he replied flatly with a pout.
"What have I done?" she asked angrily.
"You ran away without informing me!! Pehle bolti main khud tumhare saath bhaag aata!!" he teased.
"I wanted to be alone!" she said.
"Well, it is adorable that you think you can ever be alone!!" he smirked.
She scoffs at his statement and rolls her eyes with a small smile lingering on her lips.
"Why do you hate me?" he asked after a few seconds of silence.
"You know why!" she whispered cutely looking at the ground not wanting to face him. He lifts her chin up and turns her to face him.
"Enlighten me, again." he said with a slight grin.
"Because you won!! You proved that you love me more than I love you." she said with a pout.
He starts laughing at her face and says, "Whaat? Were we having a competition too?"
Roshni gave him a fierce look and removes his hand from her face,
"Now you will laugh only na!! Coz you won!! Everyone will think that WOW Siddharth was so much in pain when Roshni left him, no one will know what I felt during that time!! How hard was the separation on me!! Thank you, for making me feel like a villain!" she said angrily and gets up.
Siddharth too gets up and comes near her,
"Acha baba I am sorry!! I will not laugh anymore, okay?" he said holding his ears. "And who told you that no one knows the pain that you went through that time? Haan?" he continued.
He cups her face in between his hands and says,
"I knew exactly what was going on with you" he said softly.
She looks up at him staring in his eyes and asks, "How did you know? You were not even there with me!"
"Right, I was not there with you. But whatever went through you went through me too. Hai na?" he asked and pokes her nose playfully. He walks away towards the sea and says,
"You love me as much as I love you Roshni. How could we not feel the same pain that time? The separation was difficult on both of us. But Roshni why are we talking about the past now? Those letters.." he turns to face her.
Just at that moment Roshni came running towards him and embraces him in a tight hug. He wraps his hand around her and caresses her hair. She sobs on his sherwani making it wet with her tears.
"I am so sorry Siddharth!! I regret that I left you!! Those letters, your words.. I.. I don't deserve this much love from you Siddharth!! I have hurt you so much! How can you still love me like this? Why don't you hate me? Why aren't you angry on me? Please Siddharth tell me!!" she cried.
"Okay, I hate you." he said mischievously while loosening the hug. She smacks him hard on his shoulder. He holds her wrists and smiles broadly.
"Sach mein antique piece ho tum!! Kabhi thank you, kabhi sorry aur fir jab maine waisa kiya like you wanted me to, you are hitting me!!" he said.
She sniffs and looks at him. He strokes her hair and says,
"You know na mujhe apna pyaar jatana kitna acha lagta hai?? Sometimes with photos all over my bedroom and sometimes with these words.. C'mon Roshni you don't have to be guilty for anything!! You are my Roshni, you can never be wrong!!" he said each word clearly at the end.
"And how can I be angry on you? I love you more than anything in the whole world. You.Are.My.Everything. Tum ho toh main hu, tum nahi toh main bhi nahi.." he continued while looking intently into her eyes.
"I love you, Siddharth." she whispered softly.
"I love you...more" he whispered back with a wink. Roshni's eyes shoot up at his last word but before she could say anything he says,
"Abh chale? The entire family is waiting for us!!"
"Where?" she asked innocently forgetting about them.
"Arre mere kapde dekho.. .apne dekho... we are supposed to get married if you remember!!" he said playfully. Roshni looks down to see what he was wearing and then at herself.
"Oh no, main apni shaadi se bhaag aayi.." she said to herself.
"Yess.. u runaway bride.. my drama queen... let's go now!" he took her hand in his and starts walking but she doesn't move so he turns to look at her.
"Drama Queen haan?" she said sternly with a straight face and lifts her hand to hit him. He closes his eyes in anticipation of a smack but instead she kisses him on his cheeks and whispers on his ears,
"You look hawt in this sherwani."
He smirks and opens his eyes, her face was near him before she could move away he holds her by her waist and pulls her towards him.
"Siddhaa-" she stared at him.
"Shhh.." he leaned towards her lips.
"Hamari shaadi.." she whispered as she saw his lips nearing hers.
"It can wait.." he murmured and she closes her eyes.
She waited for it but he kissed her forehead instead and she opens her eyes in surprise. He looks at her expression with amusement and says,
"What happen? What did you want?" he said naughtily.
"Huh? Nothing.." she said in embarrassment and runs away towards the car. Siddharth beams seeing her shy away from him and follows her to the car.
