THE DECISION AND REASON
'Sid why are being so stubborn? We both know that this wedding is nothing but a burden on us... we were good as best friends but this one decision made you my enemy... I lost my place as your best friend...still you want to keep this wedding...why?' She asked with moist eyes and he sat on the bed defeated 'because I can't just ruin you too misha... I and my foolishness brought roshni at such stage of life that she hates herself... she says the roshni she knew is lost... she is not roshni... she won't be ever...' he said 'my daughter, anaya, don't know who her father is... I ruined my daughter's childhood too... roshni use to hate her... she told me herself... and whatever roshni and anaya went through that's all because of me

'Sid nothing of this sort will happen' said misha sitting beside him placing her hand on his shoulder 'because I have neil' she added 'Neil?' Sid repeated 'yes neil.. he is waiting for me Sid... I met him in New York and we both loved each other a lot but then my sudden wedding with you made it sour for both of us... I wanted to divorce you thinking that you and roshni will get back together and I can move on with neil but nothing of that happened because roshni left and I never had that stamina to leave my best friend in such cruel face of life' she finished and then looked straight at him
'are you sure you want it and he will accept you?' 'Yes...more than anything else I am sure about it' 'then I am also ready to let you go... I just want you to be happy because you too suffered because of my mom' 'thank you sid' 'how can you thank your best friend mish? Dosti mai no sorry no thank you' he said smiling a little... 'ohhh I missed you so much sid' she said with her eyes brimming with unshed tears as she hugged her best friend after ages
Next Morning
Everyone at Patel house were having breakfast when sumit walked in 'Morning everyone' he greeted everyone as he sat beside anaya who was busy having her tost and jam 'sumit you here so early... you said yesterday that you will be busy today as you have an important meeting with Khurana's... ' roshni asked 'yeah I said that... but then sid called me today and informed me about court hearing so we postponed the meeting'
'Court hearing? ... for what?' Asked shiv 'wo actually uncle, sid and his wife filed for divorce few weeks back so today is it final hearing of their divorce...' 'divorce...sid and misha are getting divorce' Mona repeated confused and roshni eyed her confused herself 'in fact I and sid had a detailed discussion about his further plans... as soon as our constitution work for hotel starts he is going to shift abroad to look after his business there and I will be here for our deal and his father will look after at theie companies here...' he said it all eyeing roshni suspiciously and smirked seeing the response
Roshni fisted her hands and stood up, wiping her lips with the napkin she went to her room... she paced here and there in her room not knowing what to say or do 'stop it...just stop it ruhi... it's his decision... he himself wants this moreover he don't want forgiveness' 'if he wants then will you forgive him?' Asked sumit coming inside 'sorry?' She asked trying to act clueless 'ruhi you never told me anything about your past doesn't means I can't get to know it all muself... come on tell me what if he himself ask for forgiveness.. will you forgive him? ' sumit asked
Roshni gave him one painful glance 'no sumit... I can't forgive him... how can I? I want justice for roshni... if I forgive him then how will the roshni in me will get justice...she deserve justice... ' 'ruhi, I am not defending him but still don't you think that Siddharth too had suffered a lot... you can forgive him and then you two can move on' sumit told her sincerely... tears formed in her eyes as she turned to the other side 'sumit... will you marry me... ' 'ruhi...how can I? ' 'you love me right... you always wanted me as your life partner...so why not... marry me and I will forgive him and also forget him' she said and sumit stared her clueless
Later that day roshni was in office reading some file regarding her new deal when she got a call from reception 'mam... their is some lady named Miss.Misha...she wants to meet you' roshni frowned hearing it but then told the receptionist to send her in
'Can I come in?' 'Yes...come' as misha walked in roshni signalled her to sit down 'rosh..' 'it's ruhi' roshni interrupted, misha nodded not wanting her rudeness effect her... 'ruhi... I need to tell you something' misha 'well I figured that out... 15 minutes... you have just 15 minutes to say whatever you want and then you can go'
'7 years ruhi...7 years... it's been 7 years to that day when you and Siddharth were cruelly played by aunty and unfortunately I too agreed for that...believe me ruhi... I never wanted to come in between you two... I never wished to do that... I had neil with me in life and I loved him a lot ...' 'neil?' 'Yes neil... the only person I loved my whole life... he is still ready to accept me... and today finally we two are divorced... roshni believe me even though we stayed together as so called husband and wife there was nothing like that in between us... in past few years, sid have done just two things... searching for you and crying for losing you and cursing his mom for doing that to him' she said
'Let it be misha... even if you will say it won't change anything... I have moved on... my life is completely different, I am not that roshni you people knew, my life held no Importance for Siddharth Khurana...' 'roshni why can't you forget the past... roshni I know Siddharth did wrong my ignoring your pleads but he was helpless roshni...he did hurt you but you have no idea from what he went through in all these years... I can't even tell enough of his condition...please forget the past and move on with sid...pl ro..' 'your 15 minutes are done... you can leave now...' 'but rosh...' 'ruhi..bye' sighing misha stood up to go when roshni stopped her 'and there is no way back Miss.Misha because I am getting married to sumit very soon'
