Chapter 4 - Seperated
She had wounded her hands around his arm and was blabbering continuously while he just keep on looking at her smilingly. Her beaming face like a sunshine in winter was more fascinating than the mansion interior.
She stopped talking and looked at her as she felt his lack of concentrationon.
"What happened sweetheart?" Siddharth asked as she looked at him keenly
She left his arm and crosses her hand on her chest with a huff.
"I should ask you that you know? I was talking with you and you was just lost in some wonderland" She was angry
"That wonderland was so beautiful" Siddharth whispered scratching the baack of his head
Roshni narrowed her eyes. Siddharth saw her expression and straightened himself.
"Can I know where was you lost?" She asked
"Roshni!" Siddharth smiled brightly
"Am listening" Roshni was unaware of his meaning
Siddharth shook his head. He need to tell her in different way. He hold her hand looking at her and pulled her in his arms as she came crashing on his chest she looked at him boggled.
"This... Roshni of your face sweetheart. I just couldn't take my eyes off this Roshni" He ran his fingers on her face, she closed her eyes enjoying his touch
She opened her eyes and looked in his eyes. She placed her arms around his neck.
"I love you Sid" Her voice was hazy and he felt like losing his senses like someone make him drink alcohol
"I love you too baby" He replied looking at her intensely
They were lost in their love for each other in each other arms but...
"Get some room guys and for that lets go there in corridor" Samira broke their moment
They seperated from each other with jerk.
"Samira why do you always ruin our moment? C'mon I was romancing with my girlfriend and you just jumped in. It's really bad you know" Siddharth shook his head
Roshni opened her mouth in shock and them smile placing her hand on her mouth while Samira stood opened mouth
"You are disgusting" Samira made face
"Breaking into someone private moment is more disgusting you know" Siddharth was not someone to become silent
Roshni was not able to control her laughter but stood somehow wanting to hear more of them
"Hawww" Samira opened her mouth in shock "you are such a jerk"
"Not yours Sam, am her's so you shouldn't care" Siddharth pointed towards Roshni
"Ahhh shall we go in corridor to look around there?" Samira accepted defeat without accepting it
Roshni burst into laughter
"See she is laughing! Means she has no problem with me" Siddharth stood proud
"Alright alright now don't tease her anymore" Roshni said between laughter
"As you say baby" Siddharth flashed a smile
Rithika stood seeing it from distance. A slight smile crept on her face that was replaced by a tear that fall from her eyes.
"Wish you wouldn't have done that" Her eyes looking with the sadness at the smiling Sid Rosh
They were walking in corridor looking at the magnificent interior of the mansion.
Roshni's one hand was around Siddharth arm and she was pointing at different things as they keep on walking. Siddharth was also showing Roshni things of his interest. Both were amazed in the beauty of mansion.
Ritika and Samira were walking behind the Sid and Rosh. Samira was excited to see all the art work and interior but Ritika was just looking on the things with a little interest. It was like her mind was wandering somewhere else.
Lost in the beauty of mansion Siddharth and Roshni were unaware of the lingering danger on them a conspiracy that was being planned.
"Oh gosh it's so mesmerizing Siddharth! I don't know why people called it ghost mansion. I mean see it's so much beautiful like a palace." Roshni left his arm and looked at Siddharth
"Probably they never got the courage to entered and look around it and just lie about it" Siddharth shook his shoulder
Roshni was going to answer when a glitter caught her eyes.
"Siddharth" She shouted in fear and hugged him tightly
Siddharth was boggled but hugged her back nevertheless.
"What happened baby?" He asked looking around to see what scared her but found nothing
"Sid.. that" she cried in his arms
Siddharth hold her shoulders and pulled her out from hug. He cupped her face and tried to look in her eyes.
"What happened sweetheart? Tell me, Am listening" His voice was soft
"Sid.. Siddharth" and she couldn't carry on she was not able to compose herself
"Take a deep breath and tell me" Siddharth suggested
Roshni took a deep breath as Siddhart told him and tried to compose herself from the fear that hold her heart or whatever it was.
"Siddharth I saw someone behind you. I don't know who was it? He or she I don't know but I saw he had a knife in his hand like like he was going to attack you" and she start to cry again
Siddharth took her in a comforting hug and looked around.
"Sshhh it's alright baby see here's no one" Siddharth tried to calm her down
Roshni broke the hug
"Believe me Siddharth, I really saw it" She protested
"I believe you baby. But now please calm down see here is no one now" Siddharth felt she is saying the truth like she really saw what she is saying but he was not able to understand where that person went?
"Siddharth" Roshni hold her arm there was fear on her face as she turned and looked at him
"Siddharth where's Ritika and Samira?" Roshni pointed out
Siddharth was shocked. He looked around but couldn't see them. Before he could say anything Roshni next words make him realize the situation is serious.
"Siddharth even if they would've been wandering here they would've rushed here when I screamed. The voice echo here too much."
"Roshni baby don't worry they must be here maybe lost their way in thus huge mansion. Come we'll find them" Siddharth tried to calm her down
They started to look around for Ritika and Samira. Roshni stick to Siddharth arm as she was scared to leave him. She felt like the moment she will left his arm they will be seperated.
"Siddharth why is this corridor not ending? We have been walking here from so much time" Roshni asked
"You are just worrying too much Roshni" Siddharth tried to wave off her fear
"Siddharth you are not understanding see this painting we are crossing it for umpteenth time but the first time we saw it, it was the only piece here." Roshni was sure there's something wrong
Siddharth couldn't find the answer so remained silent. He was alse worried. He knew what Roshni was saying is the truth but didn't showed it because he knew if he started to agree with Roshni then she will get more scared.
They were lost in their thoughts when they heared a knock on the door beside them. They jerked and looked at them the door. Roshni looked at Siddharth with question and fear.
"Probably Ritika or Samira were wandering and got locked there? Let me check" Siddharth tried to move but Roshni hold his arm
"I will come with you" she was scared so he just nodded
They move closer the door and tried to opened it. The door was jam probably as it was not opening. Roshni left Siddharth arm as Siddharth tried to open the door jerking it.
Roshni was looking all around standing beside Siddharth when she felt like she saw someone. She looked at Siddharth to tell him but saw him busy opening the door so she decided to check on herself.
Finally, Siddharth opened the door. He turned to look at Roshni but was shocked to her not standing beside him. His mind whirled in confusion and fear. He rushed and looked all around.
"Roshni" he shouted as he couldn't find her
"Siddharth" Roshni whispered as she turned and saw herself in completely different surroundings.
She ran her fingers in her hairs as fear engulfed her and she realized that she is lost.
Maybe Roshni didn't understood the saying curiosity killed the cat that's why in her curiosity she was seperated from Siddharth.
