Part 7
Roshni woke up early the next morning and rushed to Siddarth. She was missing him badly and was worried for him as well. Sid was already waiting for her.
"How are you?",Roshni asked him. He wanted to sit up seeing her but Roshni immediately stopped him. "Dont move Siddarth, you are not supposed to move."
Roshni got nervous as she didnt want to tell him about his serious condition.
Sid got confused looking at Roshnis reaction.
"What? What is wrong with me? Why am I not supposed to move?Roshni please tell me", Sid asked her.
Roshni who didnt know what to answer tried to distract him.
"Nothing is wrong with you.I just dont want to take any risk.I want you to recover soon."
"Oh, god, again.", she thought. She again lied to him and she hoped that he took her lie.
Sid was looking doubtful at her and then started to laugh. "Dont worry, I am not going to leave you so soon."
Roshni was relieved hearing that he believed her. She was feeling very bad to lie to him and she got the feeling what Sid must have been through hiding his identity and lying to her every day.
"Did you call Yash and did you cancelled the engagement?", Sid then interrrupted her thoughts.
"Yes, Yes, I have handled everything.Dont worry", Roshni said.
Both spent some time together and Roshni took good care of Sid
Sid then again fell asleep due to the medicines and then Raj came as Roshni had to leave.
She caressed Sids face and gave him a small kiss on his cheek."I am sorry Sid, I have to do this. I am doing this for you.Please forgive me.I love you."
She asked Raj to care of Sid and said that she will be back as soon as possible. Raj encouraged her to stay strong.
Roshni went home quickly as she had to get ready for the engagement ceremony.But she wanted to cry while adorning herself as a bride for this fake engagement. Her thoughts were with Sid who was in hospital not being aware of his condition and her sacrifice for him.Her mom was excited seeing her in this beautiful Anarkali not noticing how sad Roshni was.
In the banquet hall Yash was delighted seeing her and complimented her on her look. Roshni slightly smiled. She just wanted to run away, she wanted to be with Siddarth who need her the most right now.
Then the ring ceremony was about to start and all guests gathered around Roshni and Yash.
Roshni hesitantly gave Yash her hand and he put the ring on her finger. All guests clapped and DD got happy.
Then it was Roshnis turn to put the ring on Yashs finger. Yash gave her his hand and she looked at him. She hesitated again and then got shocked seeing Sid standing infront of her. Sid looked very furious.
"Roshni..?Roshni what happened? Put the ring on Yashs finger, "DD interrupted her thoughts and she realised that it was just her imagination.Sid wasnt there. She got scared and let the ring fell down.
DD took the ring and gave it back to Roshni. DD then noticed an incoming call on Roshnis mobile which she kept with herself during the engagement.
"How dare you call my daughter again? She doesnt need you in her life, she has moved on.Now stop calling her", she said.
Sid got confused.He was surprised that DD answered Roshnis mobile. He was yearning to hear Roshnis voice therefore he decided to call her again.
In the meantime Roshni put the ring on Yashs finger and the engagement ceremony was over. All guests went to have dinner.Roshni broke down inside. Her imagination of Sid standing infront of her still scared her very much. Yash interrupted her thoughts and asked her to join him for the dinner.
Roshni couldnt take it anymore and excused herself running away.
Roshni ran outside and she then began to cry."Roshni, what happened? Did I do something wrong?"
Roshni got shocked hearing Yashs voice.
"Nothing everything is fine", she answered him while wiping her tears.
"Roshni, I am your friend you can share it with me. I can see that something is bothering you.You can trust me", Yash said.
Roshni couldnt take it anymore and she decided to tell him the truth.
"I am sorry Yash, I am very sorry. I lied to you", she said.
She then told Yash about her patch up with Sid, about their plan to expose Rajveer, about Sids accident and about the threatening note.
Yash was shocked hearing all that. "Please Yash, forgive me for lying to you. I had no choice.I cant live without Siddarth." she said. She somehow hoped he would understand her and on the other hand she was ready to face Yashs anger.
"Roshni, I am shocked hearing all that. I am sorry you had to go through all this pain.But I am with you both. Ill help you", Yash then said.
"You are not angry on us for playing with your feelings and emotions?",Roshni asked Yash astonished.
"I am angry on both of you but thats not important now.Siddarth needs recover and we need to expose Rajveer.You both will have to face my anger later", he laughed and hugged Roshni.
Roshni got relieved hearing that and she got happy that she wont need to lie to him anymore.
Both then decided to meet Siddarth.
Roshni followed by Yash rushed into his room but Siddarth was nowhere to found. She got worried and went to ask a nurse. Just then Raj arrived.
"Pappa, where is Siddarth?,he is not in his room. Look Yash is also here.He knows everything.He will help us. Everything will be fine now."
Raj took a deep breath and then said"Roshni, Siddarth is being operated right now. His condition is very serious. He collapsed and has internal bleedings."
