Part 8
Raj took a deep breath and then said"Roshni, Siddarth is being operated right now. His condition is very serious. He collapsed and has internal bleedings."
"What?? How did this happened? He was stable this morning, what happened to Sid?", Roshni asked shocked.
"He wanted to call you as he wanted to hear your voice. I think he was missing you badly. I tried my best to stop him from calling you, but he was adamant.When he called you for first time, your mum answered and told him how dare he called you. He was surprised and confused why your mum answered your mobile calls. So he decided to call you again, I couldnt stop him. Your mum again answered the call and told him to stay away from you and that youll move on in your life and that you just got engaged to Yash. Sid was very angry and furious. He wanted to confront you. As soon as he left the bed he collapsed and due to this he suffered internal injuries. Doctor informed me they had to operate him immediately", Raj said and begin to cry.
Roshni sank down on the floor and cried out loud.Yash who also listened to Raj got shocked as well and tried to console Roshni.
Roshni suddenly jumped up and began to run.She wanted to be with Sid, her Sid. She run and stopped infront of the operation theatre. She wanted to enter and began to hit the door hard . She then broke down. Yash and Raj who followed her came as well. Yash made Roshni sit down and tried to calm her down.
"Why mum,Why? Why did you have to tell him about the engagement?", Roshni shouted in disbelief.
Yash then told her that her mum was not at fault as she didnt know about Roshni and Sids reunion and about his health.
"Even if she knew about it, she wont care. She hates him. She doesnt want him in my life", she then shouted in anger. She was very angry on her mum for messing everything up and risking Sids life although she knew that Yash was right.Her mum didnt know that Sid was innocent and Rajveer manipulated and fooled Simran who then snatched everything away from her mum.
Roshni then got scared of Sids reaction as Raj already told her that he was very angry on her for hiding the truth about the engagement. She even hided the truth about his deterioating health and the threatening note. All she wanted was to protect him and make sure he gets well properly. And now he was exatly in the condition she never wanted him to be.
Roshni,Raj and Yash were very worried for Sid and the wait for any news about Sids condition became unbearable for them .Raj decided to inform Simran about Sid. He yesterday made an excuse about Sid not being at home but now he had to inform her. Roshni was scared of facing Simran and she decided to sent Yash away as she was sure that his presence would make the whole situation worse.
Simran immediately came to the hospital and as soon as she saw Roshni she started to blame her for Sids condition. Raj then told her about Sid and Roshnis reunion. This made Simran even more angry and she again started to blame Roshni for trapping Sid. She asked her to say away from Sids life.Roshni got shattered seeing Simrans reaction and hearing her blames. Raj finally shut her up by saying that their son is fighting for his life and they are blaming each other.
Their heated discussion was interrupted by the doctor who finally came out of the operation theatre.
"We could stop his internal bleedings but he has lost very much blood. He needs to survive the night and needs to regain consciousness by morning.only then he has chances to recover fully", the doctor explained to them.
Raj, Roshni and Simran got shocked hearing that.
"Can we meet him?", Raj asked.
"Yes, but only family member as he needs complete rest", the doctor answered him and left.
"I...", Simran got interrupted by Raj, "Roshni, you go, meet your Siddarth, he needs you now."
Simran wanted to protest but she was stopped by Raj who signaled Roshni to meet Sid.
Roshni hestitantly entered the room. As soon as she entered the ICU she covered her mouth in shock and tried her best not to break down. The sight of Sid lying on the hospital bed lifeless and depending on the life-support system was the most horrible thing she could have ever imagined. She slowly went near him and sit down next to him.
