Alcohol really doesnt suit his character. I am shocked to see him drunk. I think he and Yash are celebrating something. And Sid is not the type who drowns his pain in alcohol.

Sid in drunken state was not a very pleasurable sight. Earlier in chawl, he said they (Khurana's) never drink. Now, if Roshni sees this or come to know about this through Yash she'll think Sid lied about this too
