"Good Morning Sir" my assistant said as he walked into my office.

"Good Morning Rohit, what do we have today?" I asked swinging my chair around in order to face him.

"A new case, sir. Recently someone spotted some dealing going on two night ago when he was out walking the dog. He said was between two guys, but one of the guys had men to back him up. The dog walker was unable to identify any faces because the area was unlit, but when he reached his household he heard a gunshot" Rohit reported.

"Hmm, what happened afterwards" I asked standing up from my chair. I wondered if this is connected with the recent subway bombing.

"Well when the men went outside to check what happened he noticed that all the men were gone, but there were traces of blood left on the ground from the gunshot" Rohit said.

"Alright did you guys happen to talk to neighbors" I asked walking over to Rohit in order to take the file from his hand.

"Yes, they all reported hearing a gunshot at the time of 1:10am on August 19^th, the dog walker reported seeing the men around 1:05am" he reported back to me.

"Why was the man walking his dog so late at night?" I wondered because normally people walk their dog around 7:30ish right after dinner time. "Too me, walking a dog at 1 in the morning is quite absurd, don't you think Rohit?"

"Yes, sir I agree. When we asked the man why he was walking the dog he just said that his dog was barking so much around 12:30am that he decided to take his dog for a walk. He left his house around 12:45am. What I found suspicious was that when he was being questioned, he was not shell-shocked like people normally would be. It was as if he knew all that was going to happen, but then again I'm not sure" Rohit said.

"Hmm I see what you mean. I want you to bring this man in immediately. I have a few questions I want to ask him myself." I said as placed the file on my desk after thoroughly reading through it.

"Alright sir. Is there anything else I can do for you while I am here?" Rohit asked.

"Nope thank you Rohit!" I said smiling at him. He turned to open the door and walked out, closing the door behind him. I sat down in my chair and thought about everything that Rohit has just told me, but because I haven't even talked to the guy I had no idea what I was up against. Not only that, but there was no lead on the bombing just occurred because it was a suicide bomber. I quickly turned on my computer to find so more information regarding the bombing when my cellphone began to buzz. Reaching for it I saw Sweety's name flash on the screen.

"Hello?" I asked as I continued to search for the files for the bombing.

"Bhaiya, where are you?" Sweety asked with a worried tone. I quickly stopped typing when I looked at my phone. Shoot I was supposed to pick her up.

"Ahh shoot sorry Sweety. I am on my way. I'll be there in like 15 minutes" I replied grabbing my jacket and shutting off my computer.

"Okay bhaiya, see you soon" she replied.

"Okay see you" I replied hanging up and quickly leaving the building in order to get to the hospital in time. Today was Sweety's last day at the hospital and I am supposed to take her home. "I can't believe I forgot" I said slamming my foot on the brakes when the stop light turned red. I leaned my head against the steering wheel and closed my eyes. It's the first time I've ever forgotten something related to Sweety. I looked up to see if the light had turned green yet but it hadn't. I scanned the surrounding environment for anything to entertain my thought when my eyes caught on someone I never expected to see in my live again. "Priya" I whispered in utter shock. It can't be her! She's dead I saw her die with my very own eyes, but there she was flesh in blood standing in front of the newspaper stall. She looked absolutely okay, she never changed. Same hair, same smile, same everything. What was going on?

Honk Honk

I broke out whatever trance I was in and looked up. The light had turned green. I turned back to the newspaper stand and Priya was gone. "Where did she go?"

Honk Honk

"Okay okay!" I shouted as I pressed on the gas after making sure the coast was clear. Maybe I was just imagining it. She really could not be alive. How could she be alive? I looked in my rearview mirror to see if I could see any sign of her, but nothing. It was if she disappeared in thin air.

Approaching the hospital I quickly parked the car, locked it and rushed inside the hospital to find Sweety sitting in front in the reception area.

"Shoot. Sweety hey princess!" I said as I walked over to her. She got up from her seat and stood in front of me in a stern position with her hands on her hips and frown that won't turn upside down so easily. "Hey baby girl! I'm sorry. I got caught up in my work and it totally escaped my mind. I truly am sorry." I replied getting on my knees so I could be eye level with her. She turned her eyes away from me and looked the other direction avoiding all contact. I had no other choice then to bring out the secret weapon.

"Sorry!" I said again as a took hold of my ear and held out a piece of Cadbury almond milk chocolate. "Please forgive me?" She slowly turned her eyes back to me but before our eyes could me I looked down towards the floor. I could feel the anger slowly fading away and she quickly grasped the chocolate bar yanking it from my hand and laughing.

"I love you bhaiya! I forgive you, but you better never do this again" she said quickly swinging her arms around my neck and giving me a hug. I looped my arms around and pulled tight against me.

"I promise princess, never again!" I replied pulling her close and then kissing her on her forehead. "Well you ready to head home?" I asked releasing her from my hold and me from her hold in order to stand up. Man was I too old for this.

"Yaa! I called Leela Fai, she said she should be home from work soon!" Sweety replied as I went to the reception area to make sure everything was clear before taking her home.

"Alright let's go then!" I replied taking a hold of her hand as we began to walk out of the hospital. Honestly, it felt good walking out of that hospital. But I knew my trips here would never end. How could they? My job always led me back here in any way that it can injured or not. I sat Sweety in the car and put her bag in the trunk. I walked over to the other side and started up the up ignition. "Alright say goodbye to this place!" I said as we slowly drove out of the hospital parking lot.

After half an hour of driving I looked over to find Sweety sleeping. I lightly shook her up. She stretched out her arms and yawned looking towards me. "Why did you wake me up?" she asked blinking her eyes open.

"We are almost to your house so I need you to call your fai and let her know" I replied brushing my hand over her hair to flatten down her bed head.

"Alright!" she replied reaching for me phone in the cup holder. After dialing her aunt's number she waited for her to answer. "Hello? Fai?" she said as I made a left onto their street. "Yeah we are almost there. So I shall see you in 5 minutes." "Okay bye" she replied hanging up and placing my phone back to where it belongs. I made a couple of other turns and we in front of her house in no time at all. "We're here! Finally!" she replied unbuckling her seatbelt and getting out of the car. I noticed her taking a deep breath of air as if the air was any different, but this was home air. I walked over to the trunk and grabbed her bag for her.

"Well you ready to go inside?" I asked as I stood next to her taking in the sight of her house just as much as she was. I've been there a couple of times, but this is the first time I have come with Sweety. Before it was either to take stuff for Sweety or to check in on her Fai. Leela Fai lived by herself except for Sweety and Roshni. She had to work in order to pay for the bills so she never had the time to look after Sweety or even visit.

"Sweety!" Leela fai screamed as she came rushing through the front doors. "Welcome home baby girl" she shouted as she came rushing down the steps in order to engulf Sweety in a hug.

"Hi fai" Sweety managed to whisper as Leela fai squeezed the living daylights out of Sweety. "Fai I can't breathe" she managed to say trying to release herself from Leela fai's grasp.

"Oh sorry beta" Leela fai said releasing Sweety from her grasp. "Siddharth beta! How are you?" she shouted approaching me next. I winced as her shadows approached me even closer and eventually I felt my cheeks being toughed from both ends. I laughed it off as pulled once more and then patted my cheeks as if I was some 10 year old. I smiled at her and returned the hug that just had offered me.

"Hi fai! I am doing well as always. What about you?" I asked pulling away from her.

"I'm doing well my boy" I she replied walking up to Sweety. "Well let's not just stand here. Come instead! The house has been completely dead without our little sunshine" she said guiding us both into the house. As soon as we step into the archway of the house there was a multicolor sign that said "Welcome Home Sweety" in front of us were balloons of every color and in the center was a table that had cake. Sweety gasped in excitement at her surroundings.

"Fai is this for me?" She asked walking through the balloons and smiling.

"Well I definitely don't know any other Sweety!" Fai shouted as she walked over to Sweety. "Baby girl this all for you!" She whispered as she planted a kiss on Sweety's forehead.

"Thanks fai" she replied as she accepted her kiss and hugged her Fai. Silence fell upon us until sniffling was heard.

"Sweety?" Fai asked pulling away from Sweety and lifting her face in order to see her. "Aww hun what's wrong?" she asked as she wiped away Sweety's tears.

"I just wish that Roshni di was here" she stuttered as she began to wipe away the remaining trail of tears.

"Aww I know hun, but she will be back sooner than we think" Fai said as she engulfed Sweety into a nice bear hug.

"That's right Fai. Sooner than you think" came a recognizable voice. I turned around to look at the door entrance and there she was. I heard Sweety squeal as the shadow of a little girl shot past my eyes and into the arms of the lady at the door.

"Roshni Di!" Sweety screamed as she literally squeezed the daylights out of Roshni.

"Hey squirt!" Roshni said kissing Sweety on top of the head. "How have you been?" she asked as she returned the hug.

"Amazing now that you're back! I really missed you!" Sweety whispered as she pulled herself away from Roshni.

"Aww me too baby girl. Fortunately I'm here now right?" Roshni as pinching Sweety's cheek. Sweety yanked her face away and rubbed her cheek.

"Yeah you definitely are back" Sweety murmured. Roshni couldn't help but laugh at her little sister. "Di I want you to meet my friend" Sweety said slipping her hand into Roshni's in order to guide her.

They were approaching me hand in and hand but my eyes could not leave her. Not once did she look at me, but god I could stare at her forever. How was that even possible? As they approached closer her eyes finally lifted towards mine and the same spark that I saw back then was there again.

"Siddharth this is my sister Roshni and Roshni this is my friend slash brother Siddharth" Sweety said as she introduced us and released her sister's hand.

"Hi Siddharth. Thank you so much for taking care of my sister while I was away" Roshni said as she lifted her hand up in order to be shaken.

I couldn't help but keep staring I saw her mouth move saying something, but I heard no words. How could their faces be exactly the same? The way they spoke? The way they dressed? The way they walked? Everything was the same. How?

"Uh. Hello" Roshni said as she retracted her hand and waved it in front of Siddharth's face.

"Uh I think he thinks you're pretty?" Sweety said as she stared awkwardly at Siddharth's current state.

"Haha who doesn't? I am your sister after all!" Roshni said as she took a hold of Sweety's hand and walked away leaving Siddharth behind in his own thoughts.

"But bhaiya?" Sweety asked as she turned around to see Siddharth still standing there.

"Eventually he will come back. Don't worry" Roshni said squeezing Sweety's hand as they walked over to the cake. "Let's cut the cake! I'm starving."

How the hell could they be the same? How the hell can she be her? Priya is dead. I killed her.
