WHY SHOULD BHAGAVAN TAKE "AVTAARAS"?

Lord Krishna has made it clear in Bhagavad Gita.

Verse: Yadhaa yadhaa hi Dharmasya Glaanir bhavathi Bhaaratha,
Abhyuthaanam Adharmasya Tad Aatmaanam srujaamyaham Meaning: Whenever there is a decline in the natural order of the Universe, whenever there is a rise in evil beyond certain limits, I manifest myself"
And

Verse: Paritranaaya Saadhoonaam Vinaasaaya cha Dushkritaam,
Dharma Samsthapanaarthaayaya Sambhavami yugE yugE

Meaning:
To protect the virtuous, to destroy evil and to establish "Dharma'I recreate myself in every Yuga".

Hey Vidya,

You know wuts wierd...is that the second i saw ur topic i was going to post that verse from Bhagavad Gita too...so wierd huh....I guess great minds think alike...but the LORD HIMSELF has already given an explanation for his avatars needed be...and I dont think there wud be ne better way for me to say it but the way its said in its verse!!!!!

But I'm so keen on knowing when/what year Lord Kalki will take birth...it's probably going to be a long ways from now!!!!!

And the verses are sooo good .
