Lost in Your Eyes
I have never gotten lost in anyone's eyes but, keep hoping it happens. Ya Ya. It's super cheesy, but did u know that it "in" in my part of the world! Wat? There is speed dating where people just stare into eye others eyes. But, maybe it's a mystical experience some of us missed? I used see couples in high school doing that. Just looking at each other and there is something very cute and romantic about it. That said it can certainly be overdone especially here where they practically play the entire background score. Also, the "heat" level was lower in this scene than it should have been. Ayeesha seemed kinda wooden to me... And Veer - something was missing there too.. 😕😕
I also loved the moment where he reveals his genuine care before the hotel owner mask is back on. There are layers to this character and I am loving the layers?
Even later in his daat towards the end there is a softness. Hmmmmmmm. As for her I love that she holds her ground ? firm but not apologetic ya argumentive. A smile or frowning would make her seem snarky. The actress is definitely improving ?
Why the Secret Rendezvous?
I think the person who wants privacy is Veer not the detective. There are somethings that are just private ? and Veer wants to keep his family's problems private. He lives in the hotel and his staff is everywhere. Wat does a man then do for privacy? He meets the detective in an isolated location on his own without a driver, na? 😆😆
Mixed Feelings
Emotion is not logical, so its understandable that Veer has mixed feelings about his brother. He misses him. He is mad at him. He is sad that his brother left. He is happy to have finally located him. The dialogues reflect this aptly. Even his ghussa at the girl who from his perspective stole his bhaiyya away while logically unreasonable - makes wierd sense. He has to vilify her because he cannot really vilify his own brother. For him she is the more convenient target... it does make him seem "class" conscious and unclassy though👎🏼
Kidult
This child I think is a Kidult - 1/2 adult and 1/2 kid. Life has left him no other choice but, to become wise beyond his years. And its touching that Ayeesha graps that and tries her best to give him "kid" moments. Acting wise he is no doubt the most organic of the cast and today his moment he and Ayeesha gave the show the warmth and charm that makes it worth watching.
Episode Rating: 7/10 ? I like the pace today. Acting wise both leads have improved slightly?
