They reached the car finally and Ragini was leaning more on to his frame than he would have liked (for he knew something was off) - Karan and Dimpy had to rush back for some work so he make the quick call of sitting in their car and letting all the kids come in the other car before anyone could protest..

Ragini, by that time, was too weak to say anything and thankfully obliged and sat down with him easily. Karan and Dimpy were engrossed in conversation when Nachiket felt Ragini's forehead with the back of his palm. No fever. Thank God.

'You shouldn't have exerted yourself, Ragini.. abhi abhi to bukhaar gaya hai'

Ragini hummed and turned more into his jacket, grasping more of it as she involuntarily rested her face and dozed off to sleep, exhausted.

She was leaning into him walking back to the cars he felt her forehead she was burning up again. He stopped and she looked him he took tge bag of his back and kneeled down "nachiket" he got a bottle of water out and some medicine he got up and gave to her she looked at him "thank you" he put the bag back and put his arm around her and they carried on.

They were all in the cars going back when karan asked what the plan was the night "we can go to that resturant it does italian food" nishi said "and then we can go to watch a film" aarav said. Nachiket looked at ragini he leaned in "we can stay back u need rest" "no i am fine i want to go" "ragini" she squeezed his arm and smiled.

They were back at the resort and everyone went to their room they were all meeting up in a few hours. "Ragini go to sleep i will wake u when its time" she smiled at him she was tired she sat on the bed he put his phone on the bed and went into the bathroom. His phone rang she looked at the screen it was sameer calling she was suprised she picked it up "hi sameer" "hi ragini i rung nachiket" "he is in the bathroom" "tell him to ring me" "ok" he came out of the bathroom "ragini why u still sitting up go to sleep" "sameer just rang" nachiket looked at her "why is he ringing u" nachiket was quiet "its his patient i am treating in delhi next week" "oh ok" he sat down next to her "go to sleep for a while ok" she leaned back and got in bed he went to get up "nachiket stay please" he sat back leaning on the headboard and took her in his arms her head on his chest she fell asleep in his arms.

He looked at her sleeping she looked so peaceful "i love you" he whispered he knew once she knew the truth it would break her heart

Ragini had been asleep for 2 hours when nachikets phone rang again it was aagham "dad are u and mum ready" "aagham ur mum is asleep you go ahead we will see u there" "ok dad" he turned to ragini "ragini" "hmm" she stirred and opened her eyes he was looking at her "hi beautiful" she smiled at him "is it time for dinner" he nodded "the kids have gone i said we would meet them there" she sat up "i needed that" he smiled she got up to get ready.

They walked to the resturant their family was already there they sat down "mum and dad we have ordered can u order quickly please" "let us sit down aagham" the waiter came to take their order ragini ordered pizza nachiket just had pasta they were sat waiting for food when nachikets got a missed call from sameer. He got up she looked at him "i just have to make a phone call" he went outside and rung sameer "hi sameer" "hi nachiket" "whats the news" "its not good news" "tell me" "it is a brain tumour" he went silent "nachiket we need to do more tests before we say anything for definitley nachiket u there" "yes i am listening" "when u coming to delhi" "two days" "does ragini know" "no not yet i will tell her when i get back when we know for definite"

He went back in and sat down he was looking at his family laughing and enjoying themselfs ragini looked at him she put her hand on his thigh "you ok" he nodded at her "fine" they had their meal and were sat deciding which film to watch when nachiket leaned in and whispered to ragini "can we skip the movie please" she looked at him and blushed "yes"

Ragini was asleep in his arms nachiket could not sleep he broke the hug careful not to wake her he put his pants and shirt on and went out the room. He knocked on pams door she opened it "whats wrong nachiket" "i need to talk to you i will be by the pool" "ok i am coming" he went down and waited for pam to come. She came and sat down "sameer rang its confirmed" "oh my god nachiket" she started crying he took her in a hug "pam please stop" she wiped her tears "what did ragini say" "she doesn't know" "nachiket" "pam she is happy finally after so long i can't take that away i have already hurt this week behaving like a idiot" "she needs to know" "sameer needs to do more tests to see if its cancerous or benign then i will tell her" "i am coming to delhi with u" "no pam i need you to go back to mumbai i got the lawyers to do a will i need ragini to sign it and u have to make sure she signs it and the hospital papers please" "ok" "i am sorry to dump this on u but i needed someone to talk to" "its fine" they sat there for a while before pam went back to her room.

Ragini woke up he was not there she switched the light on he was not in the bathroom she got up and put her dressing gown on where could nachiket have gone. She went to the window and saw him sat by the pool she went down. She walked upto him "nachiket what you doing down here" he turned around to see her walking towards him "i couldn't sleep" she sat down next to him he took her in a hug and smiled at her "i was just thinking" "about" "the future and how lucky i am" "hmm" "how lucky i am that even if i am not here the kids will take care of u and your happiness they love you so much" she broke the hug and looked at him "why you talking like that u know i hate it when u talk like that" "i am just saying" "you are not going anywhere i will not let you" he laughed "ragini when its my time to" she put her fingers on his lips "stop it please" she had tears in her eyes he kissed her "i am sorry ok" "do you have to go to delhi" "yes i am flying on sunday from here" "what about the hospital papers" "you and ranbir can handle them" "can we go inside now" she got up and put her hand out he grabbed it and they walked back to their room.
