Thanks Shikha for this OS. 😃
Though it reminded me of the horror movie THE Ring 😆, the OS here is dreamy and practical at the same times.

Elements of hope and despair woven together in one intricate thread of life. 👏

I feel for Ragini - that vermilion on her forehead, the mangalsutra round her neck and the ring on her finger - all bearing testimonies to the lies that they are leading. A lie which is going to bear down on her once it ends, with it's disastrous results.

Could there be a companion piece where Nachiket does realise a part of what she is feeling and dreaming, as she fiddles with the ring? Just thinking!

God bless you my child!

This is a very unique piece; that ring is not just an ordinary ring but it is that piece of gold around her finger given by him. And how that one motion makes her go back in time.

but despite her efforts to keep the doors to her heart shut forever, she had ended up falling in love with him again. How could she not; he was the one who held the sole key to those doors, the one who could enter whenever he pleased and...
I love these lines...😳

Dhyaan rakha karo Ragini
This sounds familiar... 😉

It can't be. It isn't. It isn't real
Ouch...

I'm actually blown away by this. It looks very simple, but the way one ring reminded her of that night before her engagement really took my heart away. We have seen many FB with the two of them, but this FB was only about Ragini and what she feels for him. And how his thoughts can create that havoc inside her despite not being together, yet.

Even I have the same habit of doing that with my ring, but trust me, I don't get those romantic flashbacks 😆

Shikha dear, you nailed it again and how! You surprise me every single time and I just fail, every single time, to praise you because sometimes feelings can't be expressed in words...

🤗 You are amazing... ❤️

Thanks for reading Di! 😊

Horror movie?! Yikes! 😕 But I'm glad you liked it! 😳 Ragini is going to have a tough time letting him go in the end; I really hope they reconcile without that heartbreak!

I knew you would ask for a companion piece! 😆 Let's see, maybe at some point... 😳

LOL, the companion piece always helps in understanding the opposite perspective - hence the request. 😃 But I do understand it is not always easy to come up with a complete different aspect, always. Not because one cannot attempt to write, but because men and women fundamentally think differently.

Yes, the heartbreak is coming alright. And once they reconcile after that heartbreak, kicking the chhipkalis out of their lives, then only will we witness the beauty of their relationship.

And of course, the MC

You're too sweet Narges! Like seriously, I don't deserve any of that praise! But thank you my dear! 🤗

That line! Yaar, I didn't even catch that until you pointed it out! 😆

I used to do that with a ring I used to wear earlier, and now I do it subconsciously without even wearing a ring. 😆 So that was the inspiration for this piece. 😳

You're more amazing and also fabulous ❤️

Haha, I know what you mean. Writing from Nachiket's POV is somehow harder for me than Ragini's. But I'll try a companion piece, although I'm not sure how it will turn out.

Poor Ragini. She won't be able to handle losing him yet again...

The MC! Subah subah you're reminding me of such nice topics; now I'll have a good day for sure! 😳

It is funny how some of us find it easier to write from Ragini's POV than Nachiket's POV and vice versa...

I'm definitely more of a Nachiket's POV

And then it changes for me based on my mood and the story. This one was definitely easier from Ragini's POV, but there are some scenes that just make sense from Nachiket's POV. But in a general sense, Ragini is somehow easier for me...
