i feel so bad for that young man. He's been hurt the most out of this divorce. Clearly he was closer to Ragini more than Dr khanna. I think what kills him the most is that his mother's hatred for his dad triumphed over her love for ranbir. That's hard to digest for any kid. He probably suffers from bunch of personality disorders and PTSD. Ragini, or whoevers idea it was to divide the kids and never see them, needs to apologize to him.

I agree to you!
He is hurt, and he is right at his place, they've made a joke out of the divorce, dividing the kids is such a low thing to-do.
Plus growing while watching the frustration of pam over not spending her life according to her wishes and sacrificing it for the kids must have made him feel really bad for her and the same thing must had helped him to built stronger hate bricks for ragini, i think so.

I agree.. Ranbir was just a kid then. He was at the age when all these kind of things leave a great impact on the kids. As we saw in the flashback, he was definitely closer to his mother and couldn't bear being seperated even for a few minutes. So obviously, he would have been hurt being seperated from her for years. And it doesn't seem like he hates Ragini. The hurt and anger that has been in his mind and heart for 15 years is just making its way out.

There is a time and a place for hatred. He is a grown young man, a medical student, granted the distance from his mom and being wrenched away from her left indelible scars, but he is older, more mature now. Instead of blindly resenting his mom, he needs to ask his dad the reason for the divorce and resent his dad equally for taking him away from his mother.

A young child's anger and hatred when he doesn't quite comprehend and is helpless is one thing, to behave disrespectfully and to ignore every rule of decency (leaving Shilpa for dead, trying to make out with her in public) just to get back at your mother is unforgivable. Every criminal/crazy person has a past and a reason, doesn't make the crime any less punishable. The boy needed that slap from his mother, a couple more and he will hopefully be set straight.

I cannot wait for the day when he breaks down and acknowledges he loves his mom.

Agree with you.

Yes, he has suffered due to the separation. But so has Nishi.

But I do not see Nishi trying to hurt her other siblings or being resentful towards her father? Okay, you may be upset with your parents, but what has your estranged siblings done to you?

What has Aarav done to him? Ranbir knew from Day One that Aarav loves Shilpa, why is he even in the scene then?

Aarav is as old as Aagham. Can Ranbir think of hurting Aagham likewise?

There are many kids who have grown up with single parents. God forbid if they all grow up to be such mean, inconsiderate individuals.

Ranbir can stay away from Ragini, for all he cares, but what he is doing to Aarav is waaay out of line.

As for Shilpa, she fell into the rut herself.

Shilpi n her mommy need to get a shock of life and it will happen only when Ranbir ditch Shilpi after making out. And those two disgusting ladies deserves it.

Ranbir is gone case as of now...his hatred for his mother Ragini is quite okey..but why with other siblings? Just because they are staying with mother? And if this is the reason..then Ranbir is hurting Aarav just because of J factor...as he didn't get the love of his mother for long 15 years and Aarav got the all.

Ranbir will be all broken n shaken only when he will get to know truth of his parents divorce and his so called mommy ugly vampy involvement in framing his real mother.

I agree with you.

Instead of someone guiding him helping him, Pam is there to reinforce in him hatred for Ragini.

Maybe he is going to get Shilpa pregnant and then ditch her. When everything is done with then Shilpa and her mother will realize that Ragini was right.

Yes he did need that slap, and some more.
