Why are Ragini kids like this what has Neil done right. Suhani's unhappiness with her father she told so politely with so affection and concern, Neil response was very cold but Suhani had the maturity to understand her father. Agham too shares his pain with his father but doesn't blame him his father for not being more loving for his Dad is still king. Ranbir in his own weird way wants to protect his father from his mother because his mother is no good. Neil kids state their POV in such a dignified manner I have to take notes.

We have to admire Pam here she might have bad mouthed Ragini but she has taught the kids that their father is great. If Agham and Suhani say even word against their father we saw how violently Pam reacts she is ready to slap them blue. Big thumbs up for Pam here. Look at Ragini household even the maid Sunny Tai has a go at Ragini, she even teaches Ragini kids to go against their mother wishes behind her back and the grandmother is a silent spectator of Ragini struggles doesn't stand up for her daughter, so Ragini is free season for everyone to abuse and lecture no one stands up for her feelings.

I think the big thing is Arav and Nishi know their mother weakness they understand their mother needs them she lives for them so they take her for granted and take her for a abusive ride. They know no matter how insulting they are Ragini will always be there for them, so when you don't fear losing something you don't need to cherish it. As far as Neil kids are concerned he doesn't spend time with them he is emotionally distant, so I think they have this fear their father doesn't need them he can get up anytime and leave and he won't miss them if they are not around. They might have this fear of abandonment they already don't have a mother what if they don't have a dad either so they protect Neil shower respect and love on Neil so as not to upset or hurt him that he will leave them, they don't take him for granted because they fear losing him.

Very nicely and thoughtfully written. Very balanced perspective. Enjoyed reading it.

Ragini may be harsh, but Nishi has witnessed everything that she has gone through, so it baffles me to see such behavior. For her to blame her mother only? It takes two to tango. And I do not see what Ragini did wrong in wanting to punish a male who caused an accident and left a female to die? Is that wrong? If her so called in laws think that is wrong then they are perfect for Nishi.

I refuse to see Nishi in a different light, she doesnt even care about her siblings, we dont see them bond. She only cares about her wedding. She doesnt care who she hurts in the process and has no guts to strand up to those who are really wrong. Aur shaadi karna chati hai! Good Luck, I cant wait to see her cry when she realises what a wimp Jignesh truly is.

Agreed and on top it is just disgusting thinking that the mother who single handedly raised you for 15 years is wrong and a father who has not even cared for you for that long is a hero. Not all children have two parents. It is so wrong. I have seen kids choose destitute mothers and let go of extremely rich fathers even the very small ones. Because most kids do not put a price tag on mom. Mom is overbearing but that does not mean someone can take her place, be that dad. Our moms do irritate us more then our dad ever does but the fact is we forgive moms even worse crimes as she does ours and Mom is mom. Every kid knows that their mother has her angry bursts but they do not speak of changing mom.
And in a way I was happy that the wedding broke for Ragini at least. Because Nishi would not have been able to stay with that wimp of a fiance and family and would have come back to Ragini and blamed her for their shortcomings. Which mother in their right mind would want their daughter marrying somewhere she thinks is bound to break.

you are right we have higher tolerance for mom than we have for dad.
Nishi marriage is a big mistake but it was a plot device to bring the parents together. Imagine if Suhani wanted to marry would Neil and Pam allow it, nooo because it is just stupid. Neil's intervention to get Nishi married was done to spite Ragini he didn't once considere who the boy was and how old Nishi was all he thought was Ragini was wrong. Neil should know he married a young bride too was she happy was he happy why would he assume his daughter is any different. I hope they show some reflection on his apart I just want to see him realize that this marriage is a huge mistake even if Nishi eventually gets married we will atleast know that Neil as a father had some sense.
I hope he and Ragini can have an conversation once the marriage gets reinstated on the consequences of marrying young.

If Ragini and Nachiket ever have a conversation about their marriage, that would be wonderful.. Would be lovely to see their current point of view on how and why they messed up so bad..
But as Pam mentioned in one of the flashbacks, it has got to do with her dad as well.. maybe he was on his deathbed and wanted to see Nachiket married..

ya true I agree.. She should remember the pain her mother faced for her..
how can she even think of leaving her mother who went on to sell their home for her marriage???
I am really disappointed with her...

She's just way too immature and young who sees a rich uninvolved father as a better alternative in the current situation
We're expecting too much..
