There is nothing wrong in falling for a person assuming they were single. If the other person is not single or if the other person is not interested, then people need to stop and focus on controlling their feelings.

Instead, Lavanya turned that attraction into obsession and started looking for reasons to feed her obsession. May be Arnav is not happy, may be Khushi is not beautiful, may be Khushi is not educated, may be Khushi is not suitable etc,. She was in show biz and she had numerous affairs. She must be taking precautions to avoid getting pregnant, right? Then, how did she suddenly got pregnant sometime before the rave party? Or should I say some time before she bagged 3 projects from AR? Have the movie offers got anything to do with the abortion? Is that why she said "she can't even grieve properly", when she was at Maldives? Was she referring to the loss of her baby? Though it was her choice to abort the baby, I feel sorry for her for the loss.

I am not sure what exactly she planned to do when she arrived at Shantivan with that non existent pregnancy news. We now know that there was no pregnancy and she had more permanent and trust worthy birth control measures in place.

I am 90%sure she did not expect Arnav to agree to keep the baby. According to her, Arnav's marriage was at stake, his image was at stake and three big projects were at stake. He surprised her by nonchalantly saying she can do whatever she wants to do with her pregnancy. He also surprised her by saying he is going to divorce his wife for personal reasons. May be she changed plans along the way.

When Manali tried to blackmail Arnav using Khushi's name in February, she was still thinking the projects will go ahead and they will not be questioned about Lavanya's upcoming delivery. Or did they already feign a miscarriage?

Lavanya has been obsessed with Arnav for 6 years does NOT mean she was celibate and not sexually active with someone else. She is woman with no morals. No one knows whose baby was 2 months ago. She might have gotten pregnant before that as well, who knows. She is the woman who hosts raves and is casual about waking up naked with an unknown man next day, has had many relationships in the past as well as with married men.

So this woman is a tramp with no ethics. At least that's how she has been portrayed here.

Her grieving in Maldives, I felt was more for Arnav than anything else, I could be wrong though. We will see in latest chapter that Arpita will post ASAP. If she wants a baby, she is top actress, gorgeous and hundreds might be interested / in love with her but her choices in men have been very poor especially committed married men, she was focused only on her career and used men for her physical needs. Her initials thoughts about Arnav also were clearly physical attraction and she didn't care he was married.

I felt MaLa D were purely trying to trap Arnav based on guilt of ONS and then fake pregnancy initially. They clearly asked him about his marriage and how it impacts the baby being called names. As soon as Arnav fell prey, disclosed he is in process of divorce, MaLa D were in action to get Arnav involved / invested in her life.. I feel her fake stress, drama etc., they would have carried out fake miscarriage if he gets involved in a relationship with her as there was never a baby in the first place but giving Arnav further guilt, she would cling to him forever and since he was divorcing, they would have had no problems being together.

What they missed was Arnav was never interested in baby or relationship with Lavanya irrespective of his own marital issues And Aman finding out Lavanya's lies saved his day. At least this is how I felt.

I am actually quite obsessed with post Diwali and faraq padta Hai phase of their relationship. It was filled with, ego clash, angst and heartbreak. Especially when he said her cheap Payal meant nothing for rich man like him and insulted her of being a gold digger. I for once wish Shyamu was not a snake and a genuine person with single status at that time. Asshole sigh raizada didn't deserve her after literally losing control and fled to Lavanya. And when he learnt abt khushis engagement, shit hit the fan (tumhe mujhe bathana zaroori nahi samjha? Dude seriously?? 🤬). Arpita's dharmiya is related to this plot also Merrydock's unbreakable bond.

Okay, I was just thinking about the confrontation chapters and Khushi’s hurt.

Khushi’s parents by forcing her to marry again when she was not even given the chance to properly grieve her relationship of 10 years ending and that too to Shyam had hurt her.

But they without knowing have also helped both Arnav and Khushi by giving the pain of Khushi never coming back to Arnav.

He might have thought about Khushi moving on and having kids while making his will but would have never realised the depth of his feelings on this topic if not for remarriage talks.

He had to feel this pain to realise no matter what he tells himself, he can not stop loving her.

So, the baby she aborted could very well be Jatin's. That is why I felt (in a different comment) that Jatin or who ever she manipulated earlier, have a bit more role in this saga.

What I was thinking out loud was, Lavanya wasn't concerned about what was at stake for Arnav at all. There is not doubt, her whole plan was to get Arnav by hook or crook. She would have gladly used Khushi or his business ventures to get what she wanted (the way they did in February 2016). Arnav's nonchalance about her keeping the baby and his divorce threw her off guard and she must have resorted to Plan B. Had he shown some vulnerability, she would have negotiated for more movies and/or ask for a chunk of his property and/or demand for a secret relationship with him in return for terminating the non existent pregnancy. Who knows!

I completely agree. To me this especially matters since even though we did not know his full POV, that is where he had cried. I think more than Khushi, when he assumed she would move on after some time but not so soon, he had himself convinced that he would move on too. I read Khushi’s parents POV again. Their hurry results from taboo of a second marriage in the place. I need to remind myself it’s not a small town but a very oppressive village.

But when Khushi left his grandmothers bangles behind, he could not take it.

For him nobody was going to replace Khushi because he was divorcing her to be free of all relations. That’s what he was telling himself.
