Btw, I stand corrected in my question. Does Arnav love Khushi? Or was he just doing the right thing which he thought was letting her go? Right thing that he always does by everyone? 🤷‍♀️

Also, he did try to do right by letting her go because he wanted her to be happy, we always do that for people whom we love.

She confirmed what he suspected. She was not happy too. And it still stung.

They both thought the other is not happy with them anymore. They also thought they are not worthy of the other. Too much love can make you feel this way.

Arnav thought, Khushi was spending more and more time away from him. She was disappointed with him for not visiting Bhagawanpur to participate in the rituals, for not reconciling with his father, for not even considering to have a child etc,. She wasn't interested in his business or anything related to it anymore. She has stopped taking initiative in romance.

Khushi thought Arnav was spending too much time in his business, no time for himself, no time for family (parents and sister if she is still there), no time for wife and her choti choti khushiyan, no drive for romance.

Their life became mechanical and they drifted apart.

Whichever way things unfolded in the story, I agree with them. There are always what if scenarios. There is no end.

Behaving differently during crisis, saying wrong things in the heat of the moment, trying to protect the partners, misunderstandings, wrong assumptions, expecting the other person to take the first step after stopped responding, they are all part and parcel of married life.

Khushi made Arnav her centre of universe. She has nothing else to fall back on. When things have gone wrong between them, it affected her the most. It affected Arnav too, but, he knows some of the reasons (not having kids, Lavanya issue, his parents issue to name a few) which puts him at an advantageous position than Khushi.

The way couple of chapters were dedicated to Lavanya, I will write about Lavanya in this post.

There is nothing wrong in falling for a person assuming they were single. If the other person is not single or if the other person is not interested, then people need to stop and focus on controlling their feelings.

Instead, Lavanya turned that attraction into obsession and started looking for reasons to feed her obsession. May be Arnav is not happy, may be Khushi is not beautiful, may be Khushi is not educated, may be Khushi is not suitable etc,. Sorry, I can't give her any benefit of doubt at this stage for judging and trying to sabotage a stranger's life.

She was in show biz and she had numerous affairs. She must be taking precautions to avoid getting pregnant, right? Then, how did she suddenly got pregnant sometime before the rave party? Or should I say some time before she bagged 3 projects from AR? Have the movie offers got anything to do with the abortion? Is that why she said "she can't even grieve properly", when she was at Maldives? Was she referring to the loss of her baby? Though it was her choice to abort the baby, I feel sorry for her for the loss.

I am not sure what exactly she planned to do when she arrived at Shantivan with that non existent pregnancy news. We now know that there was no pregnancy and she had more permanent and trust worthy birth control measures in place.

I am 90%sure she did not expect Arnav to agree to keep the baby. According to her, Arnav's marriage was at stake, his image was at stake and three big projects were at stake. He surprised her by nonchalantly saying she can do whatever she wants to do with her pregnancy. He also surprised her by saying he is going to divorce his wife for personal reasons. May be she changed plans along the way.

When Manali tried to blackmail Arnav using Khushi's name in February, she was still thinking the projects will go ahead and they will not be questioned about Lavanya's upcoming delivery. Or did they already feign a miscarriage?

Oh God these stares...they were deadly. I am too a sucker for this part of the show.

Post the forced marriage reconciliation the stares and intensity were not the same.
