There is too much which I am even sure Arnav is also not aware of, like why Khushi kept on going to Lucknow. It definitely had to be more than just bridging the gap between Lucknow and Mumbai. Even Arnav not wanting kids has something to do with what might have happened to Anjali. Though I agree he should have discussed about everything clearly with Khushi.

When everything will come out Arnav might blame himself more for not trusting Khushi.

These are just my thoughts let’s see what Arpita has in store for us.🤔

You read my mind, I have been thinking about this for a while... How did his parents, sis also ignore Khushi when she doted on them?

Arilip, I agree with you it takes two to make and break a marriage. I tried to articulate the reasons it was successful in the beginning but as Arnav mainly changed those same reasons drove them apart in the end. Those differences became magnified and were never properly discussed.

He was a good husband by most standards and they seemed to be happy with each other for most of their marriage. But underlying problems were always there. It never really was a marriage of equals. Partly because of her traditional up bringing but also her personality. He was protective but a form of control. He was aloof in letting her into his real emotions setting the direction that their lives went , the baby issue being one example. And, Khushi was wrong in not demanding more and to be heard.

He pulled away first, became unwilling to really address their issues in an honest way and blamed her. Hence his reprehensible behavior surrounding the divorce. And sometimes one incident in a life and in a marriage can destroy and over shadow every other good thing. His adultery did that.

All of the things I mentioned in my previous post completely broke Khushi and she made decisions based on her depressed state. But she is now at the bottom and I believe the things you mentioned will happen to Khushi. She will start fighting, become stronger and re-emerge as a strong woman. It will just take time. Actually, I think you and I basically agree on things.

I think she was in stock and had a rude awakening!!! She had a sheltered life and couldn’t take it!!!

I would love to see how she comes out of this ordeal and makes her life 💖

Guys we discussed enough. As Aprita explained, their marriage was just fine for almost 9 years, credit to both with roles they played. Just disagreement over baby, non-communication, distances and the ultimate betrayal brought them here.. Arnav screwed up royally when Khushi was trying to mend the distances.

I have never written about Shyam character because Khushi even meeting him is a big mistake, but Arnav served Khushi double whammy, extra marrital affair and divorce which whole world knows before her. She went through sudden changes that too on her 10th wedding anniversary (all she was expecting from him was to wish her and give her a sign to fix their marriage), major heartbreak, humiliation and zero hope with he being moved on and applied for divorce. Khushi leaned on her loved ones, Buaji and her parents which is natural but she underestimated the other problems being in her village. La and Manali's games pushed her marriage on fast track but ultimately she did manage to reject Shyam on his face.. Everyone let her down, her husband, own family and in-laws too (They never called her or showed up when she was an hour away from them, unbelievable).

Arnav was a good, practical and demanding husband and Khushi was best wife for him during his strugle years but he behaved complete ass last few months and cheating was icing on the cake..

Any nicest person with no criminal record murdering someone is still a murder and unacceptable. He / She might get less punishment but a crime is a crime! Arnav washed all his good behavior down the drain by mishandling the baby pressure.. (Arilip we discussed this in length before with our guesses)

Maybe Arnav started liking new world while Khushi preferred domesticity, had he separated based on differences, then had affair, no one would care... Khushi also loved him enough to watch him succeed from a distance, her thoughts during one of her meetings with Shyam!

In my every note I have always said I want to know his thought process during affair, his reasons for not wanting a baby she was dying to have and his excuses for treating Khushi like trash in last few months.. Though nothing is acceptable, he gets a chance to explain himself!

About the in-laws not contacting Khushi, I have been thinking about it a lot and found it weird but when Arilip raised this point, I felt Khushi might have felt cheated by them too.

They did not even contact Arnav, in fact despite going to Lucknow Arnav did not visit them.

What drove him away from his parents? It can not just be about babies. My guess is he has some emotional scarring related to babies it and if that is the case, they would all know about it and understand where it was coming from. Even if something bad happened once, he had to overcome it and understand that it may not happen again. One bad experience does not mean it will be that way forever. But he was never willing to talk about it. Not with Khushi, not with his family. Khushi probably understood his pain and did not want to push it. Without openly addressing it, the issue was never resolved.

When he did agree, it was very obvious that he was not on board with it, just saying yes for her sake. That's why she made the decision she did. Why did they stop trying?

More than the parents, why has Anjali not been in contact with anyone? Arnav has her contact on his phone, so a phone call is possible. We have seen no mention of her calling or being called by anyone.

Wow...what a masterpiece i stumbled upon..finished all the chapters. i am in so love with this story line and the emotions you have written in it. hatsoff. you have potrayed the everything so well. I am in love with khushi here. Her love is so pure for arnav. Arnav is no less but he is not perfect as khushi .khushi now knows about lavanya. . Is manali or lavnya behind this or khushi has suspected on her own. will wait for the things to get unfold.

Me too...this story has strangely taken hold over my life and I feel as if I am living it. So dreading it too
