That was an interesting statement Manohar made that Aakash suffered more than Arnav!

Arnav had no memories of his biological father. Either he was busy or not there at all until one day he never came back. That was tough on a young lad. Then his mother married Manohar. I am not sure about his life with Manohar when his mother was alive. But, after her death, he had to face a step mother who never welcomed him and a step father, most probably never had time for him. What makes this a bed of roses compared to Aakash's life?

Is Aakash Priya's son? To form an opinion on Manohar, we need to know more about Priya, Aakash and Payal.

Arnav knows Shyam for a while. He knows Shyam is a bad guy. I think there is a bigger reason (than just to spite his father), for Arnav to associate himself with Shyam.

So, Khushi dreamt of a future life with a stable person like Aakash and ended up marrying a person who made her heart beat faster in the first meeting. I don't think she experienced the touch which gave her warmth and a sense of security. On the other hand, as soon as Arnav met Khushi and found that she was Shashi's daughter, he felt this urge to protect her. In other words security and warmth. Nice.

As promised, chapter 3 has really created a stir.

The quote in the teaser is more clearer to me now.

Arnav is the person who made Khushi’s heart race while Akash is the person who brought calmness and security to Khushi. Though Garima must have told Khushi that she shouldn’t rely upon who makes her heart race but look for warmth and security in her life partner, unknowingly she made Khushi accept the opposite. Little did Garima know that she pushed Khushi into the arms of the person who made her heart skip a beat!!!!

It is said mothers know better. Here I would like to give a benefit of doubt to Garima. Maybe she knows exactly what Arnav was upto in his womanizing past.

So it was refreshing to note that Anjali was not having any bad vibes about Arnav per se but felt that there was more to Arnav than was let out before them.

Khushi hasn’t been exposed to the opposite sex much. She has been within the vicinity of her principled father, Manohar and Akash whom she perceives as principled good men. She has seen Arnav with Manohar when the former was lashing out in his hurt, trying to hurt Manohar with his wild nonchalant, callous behavior. I have a feeling that Khushi has been seeing Arnav with Grey tinted spects till now. She hasn’t had the opportunity to know Arnav for what he is from closeby.

The first that she has been in the vicinity of vulnerable Arnav is when he talks fondly about Aarti and how Khushi reminded him of her. His childhood has been filled with sorrow at abandonment by his father who would have been his role model. Probably his father was a very busy man and never had time for his family. It could be possible that after the loss of her husband, Aarti must have been drawn to Manohar who himself was a pawn in his rich wife’s hands. It is said that two individuals who are filled with sorrow find solace among each other. Did Aarti and Manohar find solace among each other leading the latter to leave his wife and marry Aarti? There is a possibility that after marriage, both Aarti and Manohar would have unknowingly be lost in their own life leaving young Arnav to his own devices.

Manohar asked Arnav to join him in his work, so is he also a Qualified Lawyer?

Priya, Manohar’s first wife and the mother of his Son Akash appears to be a rich woman who did not want anything to do with her husband’s stepson Arnav after the demise of Aarti. She agreed to take back Manohar and their relationship even led to the birth of Payal who was also as unwanted as Arnav in her life. Manohar seems to be a spineless person who was only ready to be there for the women whom he loved at the moment and did not bother about the responsibility of his children. Akash was left at the mercy of Priya when he was with Aarti and Arnav was left to his own devices when Manohar went back to Priya. Poor Payal was like a third wheel, an unwanted person in the Kapoors’ lives. Does Akash not love his own sister? One wonders at the nature of Akash. Khushi sees him as a principled person like her father and Arnav sees Khushi as a principled good woman like his mother.

Arnav liked Khushi when he met her first and Khushi also felt a stirring when she met Arnav but her head always ruled her heart not allowing her to accept and explore the feelings she had for Arnav.

Is it possible that Arnav had an inkling that just maybe Akash too liked Khushi and wanted to get what Akash could have and is that why he initially wanted Khushi for himself? Did he make Manohar choose between Akash and him for Khushi’s hand?

Manohar seems to be at a loss to make Arnav understand that he loves him like his own son Akash. Is Manohar hiding something about Priya from Arnav? Is she involved in Aarti’s death somehow? You hinted that it wasn’t Manohar who was the cause of Arti’s death.

Garima comes as a selfish woman here and is antithesis to Shashi’s principled nature. Why did Shashi need to amass a huge debt? Did Arnav somehow agree to payoff the Roys’ debt and is that why Payal calls Khushi a gold digger?

Manohar tells Arnav that it is Shyam who is spoiling him. Could shyam be the person who has hurt Anjali too? Things will apparently get clearer in due course.

From the chapter it feels that Arnav is a qualified Lawyer and did not practice Law but went into business with Aman and took over a business. If Arnav is shrewd enough to take over a business, wouldn’t he have done something to see that he could turn it into a profitable venture? IS it possible that this deal was done by Arnav to thwart something else? Maybe one of Kapoor & Associates’ clients wanted the deal and Arnav outsmarted them?

Here we see that Khushi and Manohar are both frustrated at the fact that Arnav is spending Manohar’s hard earned money. Is Arnav such a shallow person to do so? Like Khushi said, Arnav is always wearing a mask and hiding the truth behind false smiles and loud talks.

I think Arnav has a much deeper personality which is hidden to everyone. Maybe Garima also has seen a glimpse of the same like Khushi.

Arnav hates Akash. It appears that he has a reason to do so. We have yet to learn about him. Khushi is seeing Akash with rose tinted spects. Maybe she will see the reality soon!

We will wait to see what unfolds in the future chapters when you unravel the layers surrounding Arnav’s personality. I am sure Khushi is going to be the one who will be shocked at the truth that will be uncovered. Today she considers Akash to be a paragon of virtue. Who knows she may realise that it is Arnav who is the good son to Manohar.
