I always love discussions about the show. Just like u i have no idea about IF and even about ipkknd, when ipk was on air. So i read old discusions now.
Ppl may feel it creepy, but i enjoy reading anjali and daljeet bashing posts.
But hard core fans of ipk can understand my hatred towards anjali (mainly) and daljeet (some what)
For me ipk is a fairy tale. Love of my life. I loved it till kidnaping track. But post kidnap, which is very very important period to finish this beautiful tale, things went horrible. Thanks to daljeet and her negotiations.
I have not read ur post completely. I dont want ur analysis to influence my comment. I will read after making my post and further comment.
So my opinion on anjali...
A worst sister...not after kidnap...but during initial episodes too..
1. When arnav had relationship with lavanya, many times nani and even once shyam asked anjali why she aproved la even when she know la is not right person for arnav. She replied she dont want to loose chotey in the process. I mean, its chotey's marriage, an issue for life. It does not bother her if arnav choose right girl or not. All she want is her place in arnav's life and house.
2. She just fed on arnav's money. As she is an elder sister, she would have earned and protected arnav. She never hesitated to spend chotey's hard earned money.
3. On bhai dooj, i was irritated when she kept on smiling when mami imitated arnav. And instead of protesting and saying dont loose or sacrifice anything for me, she said i know all this. Eeeks...i hate tgis spineless woman.
4. She never bothered if not shyam, who kidnaped arnav. She did not even ask him how he was when he was injured.
5. She lied to chotey after kidnap and met shyam secretly.
6. Even after shyam's relevation, she did not react when shyam revealed that he kidnaped arnav.
A horrible mother...
1. She never had medicines in time. No bother about baby.
2. Tried to abort the baby.
3. A reason for the miscarriage.
A worst wife...
If ppl thought that she is a good wife, and all she cared about is only herself and her hubby, then they r wrong. She is not a good wife too.
1. She never cared about her husband, as according to her knowledge, he works really hard. I have never seen her offering a cup of chai or coffee when he returns home. All she used to start is pouting. poor shyam.
2. Encouraged him as ghar jamai
3. when arnav said the famous 'this is my house' dialog, she started using her famous weapons, tears, tantrums, sympathy (by falling down) and closed her room door. If she really respects and loves shyam, she would have shared her pain with him. Where she thought that her hubby will sleep? Ofcourse being asr's sister, she would have thought that he will sleep by some pool side.
4. Not walked out of the house when shyam was insulted, slapped and tgrown out of house.
She dont love shyam. She love the way she thinks shyam love her. She love the attention shyam pays to her. She is an attention seeker. If some real man would have really loved her, but could not utter sweet words like shyam, she would not have gone so much ga ga with him.
A shame to woman kind...
1. Whats the need for u to earn? This is the question she asked when khushi started dabba business. Nani answered very nicely. So she is more backward than old generation women.
2. Always want chotey or shyam to lean on.
3. 'U keep on giving me these small surprises. I dont want anything else' 'i dont want anything other than ur live and words'. Seriously these kind of things irritate me to the core. One should throw her out of shantivan and ask her to earn by selling those words.
All in all, i hate anjali.
Now i will read ur post, and comment further.
Sorry for long post, but i have million more words to say about anjali.
