Every family member at home was walking about, making sure that the smallest detail was perfect and that nothing was missing. The hustle and bustle in the air was evident that today was an important day, especially for Khushi. Though the surroundings felt sad, everyone knew that they had to move on.

Every family member at home was walking about, making sure that the smallest detail was perfect and that nothing was missing. The hustle and bustle in the air was evident that today was an important day, especially for Khushi. Though the surroundings felt sad, everyone knew that they had to move on.

The family gathered around the Havan kund as the Pandit started the pooja. Sitting in front, doing the pooja was Khushi. Through out the pooja, Khushi felt choked up with different emotions crashing down on her heart, she may not have gone through the toughest time of her life if it wasn't for the man sitting next to her, holding her hand to let her know that he was there. The pooja had come to an end and all the necessary rituals were completed, with Punditji bestowing his blessings to everyone, especially to one couple.

After spending the remainder of the afternoon together, the Raizada family decided it was time to go home with the exception of one member, Khushi's husband.

After a quiet dinner, everyone in the Gupta family dispersed to their own rooms to retire for the night. As Khushi was getting ready for bed, her husband needed to know if she was okay or not as she had been very quiet. He understood why, but he needed to know that she is and that she wouldn't retreat back into her shell. Khushi knew what was going on in his mind.

Khushi: I am fine Arnav.

Arnav: What the. How did you

Khushi: (Pointing to the temple of his head) I know each and every single thing that goes on in here. Believe me, I know today was a big day, but with you by my side I was able to pull through and not let all those horrible feelings get to me. I know you hated seeing me in that space and regardless of everything that has happened, you still stood by me.

Arnav: I love you. Never forget that. I'm happy that after everything, we are together now. I know I was a massive jerk to you in the past, the way I treated you, taunted you, and the fact that was what pushed you away from me. I was an idiot to push you away like that.

Khushi: Arnav, forget all that now. What's important is that we are finally together and there is not a single force that can separate us now.

Arnav: But still, if I had not pushed you away from me like that, you would never have agreed to marry Ranveer or have landed in that situation that you were in. As much as I hate the fact that I'm your second husband, I am grateful that I have you forever in my arms. I am never going to let you go away from me.

Khushi: hmm, I can't thank Devi Maiya enough for sending you into my life. In that time when you pushed me away and I agreed to marry Ranveer, I never would have thought that life would bring me to the place that I was in. My kidnapping by that rogue, the way me and Ranveer had married by the way thanks to you (Arnav smirking) and then his death. I don't think I would have ever over come the grief I went through at that time.

It was almost midnight and the loved up couple were so engrossed in their conversation that they didn't realise how much time had passed when Khushi suddenly remembered.

Khushi: Hey Devi Maiya, I almost forgot

Arnav: and what would that may be jaan

Khushi: Happy six month anniversary

Arnav: (chuckling) Happy six months to you to sweetheart. By the before I forget, this is for you

Khushi: Arnav you didn't need to give me anything. I have you and that is what matters the most to me. Besides I didn't get you anything.

Arnav: I know jaan, but I wanted to. Just the infinity on this ring, our love will forever be there and always shine just the diamonds embedded in this ring. And you not getting me anything, you are the biggest gift that I could have asked for. Now if we just had a mini me or a mini Khushi, or both at the same time. Whats say.

Khushi: (shyly hitting Arnav's chest) Arnav

Arnav: (wrapping his arms around Khushi tigher) I know jaan. I'm just joking, but remember whenever you are ready I am ready. Okay. Lets just take our time and explore our marriage before taking on any more responsibilities. Deal?

Arnav: (pecking her lips) Then it's agreed Mrs Raizada. Now go to sleep, its quite late.
