Part 12

Khushi was worried sick with the fact Arnav will do something to make her his by hook or by crook. She knew that he would go to any lengths to stop her from marrying Ranveer. What she didn't know that Arnav was already doing something, and the something was finding out about Ranveer. Later that evening, Shashi, Garima and Buaji had arrived after going to the temple with Ranveer's father. The trio were very happy as their Khushi's wedding date was fixed. However, it was fixed slightly earlier due to Ranveer's job in Mumbai at one of the top colleges with double pay offered (*I don't know of this happens or not so I am making it up*). Due this the date was set for three weeks from now and two weeks before Payal's wedding. Khushi was happy, but at the same time she felt very apprehensive as to how Arnav would react since he has already declared feelings and she knows very well for a fact that Arnav Singh Raizada would not stop even if a tsunami comes in.

Two days later, Aman came knocking on the door the next day to deliver the report based on Ranveer that Arnav had requested for. Before anyone could ask anything, at speed of lightening Arnav went to his room, locking the doors shut so no one could come in. As he read the report, he was hoping that there was something that he could prove to everyone that Ranveer was not worthy to be Khushi's husband. While reading there was not one single fact that could prove anything against Ranveer. Just as Arnav was about to shut the file and throw it away as a useless piece of junk, he came across something particularly intriguing. He read the page that had a bit about his personal life, and he liked what he saw. He also saw a picture that was attached. Before he went to Khushi, he decided to find out more about what he just come across. He called the private detector, thanking him for the file, but also asking if there was anymore information that he could perhaps collect based on what he had discovered. He was told that the information would handed to him as soon as possible. After that conversation, he went downstairs to see what was happening as he heard quite a lot of voices, ore than usual.

He saw that the family were doing a bit more shopping. Anjali had called a shop to see if they were able to bring items to their residence so that they could finalise a few more wedding supplies. The Gupta family was there as Nani was hoping that they could get Payal and Akash's wedding outfits sorted. Arnav had feasted his eyes on someone that had the ability to knock him out of his senses in any form she is in. Khushi was sitting next to Payal excited as she would be able to see what her sister's wedding dress would look like. She didn't realise that Arnav was staring at her like a hawk. That somehow didn't go unnoticed by Anjali who came to Arnav and shake him back to reality.

Nani: Khushi bitya, since you are also getting married, how about you choose some items for yourself to wear at Payal's wedding and on your wedding day.

Khushi: Thank you for the suggestion Naniji, but I am going with Ranveer this afternoon to decide what we will wear, along with a few other things.

Anjali who had then came to sit next to Khushi: So, you two are going alone to decide, would you like some help, you know if you two can't reach a decision.

Payal who was also listening: Di, that's what I told them, at first they didn't agree, but after a bit of persuading, they agreed. Come on I would also like to help my little sister finalise things for her wedding

Khushi: Ok you two, be ready because he will be picking me up this afternoon, then we can all go. Happy?

Anjali and Payal: Yes

The day passed in Shantivan with all the hustle and bustle towards the preparation for the upcoming grand wedding. Since everyone decided to go along with Khushi and Ranveer for further shopping as there were many things they needed to finalise, Arnav decided not to let this opportunity go as this was a chance for him to keep a closer eye on his life and souten. Khushi had asked Ranveer to meet her where they will choose their wedding suits and that they will have company, not that they both minded.

Once everyone reached their destination that afternoon, Khushi found Ranveer waiting for her and went over to him immediately. Arnav burned with fury when Khushi walked away from him to go to her fianc. He thought to himself I need to get Khushi alone to tell her about Ranveer's past, but how. I need to stop her from getting married.

Aman: Sir I have the other report on Ranveer that you wanted

Arnav: Thanks Aman.

After Aman left his cabin, he went through the additional report he had requested. What he found out left him baffled. He saw a picture of Ranveer with a girl. To Arnav, this looked like a wedding picture. Khushi had to know about this he was sure that Khushi would have any idea of Ranveer's past relationship. He had to tell her, but how. He further read on to find out what had happened to his previous marriage. After reading the report, he would tell Khushi one way or the other."

While everyone was off doing their own shopping, Ranveer had gone to try his outfit leaving Khushi outside waiting. Arnav found the perfect opportunity to tell Khushi about Ranveer's past and he literally dragged Khushi to secluded area of the shop.

Khushi: Arnavji leave my hand. Where are you taking me?

Arnav: Khushi keep quiet for once. I have to tell you something really important.

Khushi: Please Arnav, not again

Arnav: Khushi, please trust me for once. I know I broke your heart but please hear me out.

Khushi: Look Arnav, when Ranveer comes out of the fitting room, he is going to be looking for me. What am I going to say when he can't find me

Arnav: I don't care, but I am not going to leave you until you have heard what I had to say.

Khushi: Okay, but you don't have long. What do you want to tell me?

Once Arnav had opportunity to talk, he pulled out a photo from his pocket. It was the very photo that he wanted to show Khushi. As soon as Khushi saw this, Arnav was hoping for a reaction, which he didn't quite get. Instead Khushi was looking into his eyes questioning him what is this.

Arnav: Khushi, I needed to tell you about Ranveer's past. I really don't want to see you hurt again, but you need to know this. Ranveer was married before. His wife's name was Neha.

I know it has been awhile since I have posted my last chapter due to uni and work. While having a look through my story and thinking about how it will unfold, I have decided to make a couple of changes but not too many. The changes will be just based on how the story starts. Everything else will be the same. Just one more thing, I will be moving the story to the fan fiction area as there were some people who didn't quite like how my story was unfolding which is why I have taken this decision. I will post the link. Hopefully, the next chapter should be done soon and posted.
