Nice story...glad that Arnav got a dose of his own medicine...loved the Lavanya of this story too. She is as sweet as the Lavanya of the serial.

I see that there is some ongoing discussion about the ending.

As a writer, it is your prerogative. And as readers, everyone has a right to decide what they would like to read. So, I guess you should go with what you initially planned for. I would prefer Arshi to be together in the end after whatever twists and turns...but this is YOUR story. It is coming up well. Good luck with this story...waiting eagerly to see how Arshi proceed after this.

Part 13

Khushi: Neha?

Arnav: Yes Khushi. He was married to a girl a couple years ago. I have their wedding picture with me.

Khushi was shocked to see the photo. She knew that Ranveer was previously married, but for them to both move on, they decided not to dwell on the past which is why Khushi didn't ask more about his past and Ranveer didn't ask either. Looking at the photo more closely, she could tell that the bride in the photo resembled her very closely, almost exactly like her.

Khushi: Arnavji.. H H How did you get this?

Arnav: I hired a private detective. He investigated more about Ranveer's life and it turns out that you do know everything, but this little detail that was left out. When I saw this photo, I noticed very that girl resembles you a lot, almost like you. That's why I couldn't stay in peace until you knew about this. Please Khushi, think about this all carefully. Don't marry a man whose past you don't clearly know about.

Khushi felt numb after finding out about this. Everything that Arnav said was unheard. Arnav was facing away from Khushi when she started walking aimlessly. By the time he looked back he couldn't see her anywhere. While Khushi was still processing the information that Arnav just shared with her, she didn't know what decision she should take. Khushi was numbly absorbed in her thoughts that she didn't hear the truck that was headed towards her.

Arnav: KHUSHI!!!

Anjali: Chotte, what happened?

Arnav: Di, Khushi.. she was in front of the truck

Anjali: Chote, Khushi is fine. Nothing has happened to her.

Arnav: But di I saw

Anjali: Come with me, I will prove to you that nothing has happened

Anjali took Arnav with her and showed him that Khushi was fine. Arnav saw Khushi looking at some bridal suits with Payal while Ranveer was trying on his sherwani. Arnav could finally breathe properly knowing that Khushi was perfectly fine and nothing had happened to her.

By the time everyone had finished shopping, the sun was about to set and everyone was famished. It was decided that everyone will have dinner out today. They all set towards one of the street food stands and started to order their food. There was obviously one person who didn't want to eat there however stayed quiet as he could see how happy Khushi was eating gol gappas, but the one thing he didn't like was Ranveer who was eating with Khushi and making her laugh at a joke he had made. Nevertheless, for once he decided to suck up his ego and eat what everyone else was eating. Soon it was time to go home after a long tiring day. Arnav was determined to make sure Khushi does not marry Ranveer in any circumstance. However, time was slipping away and he needed to think of something that will convince Khushi to not marry Ranveer. But what how would be able to tell Khushi about Ranveer?

The coming days passed in a haze and the wedding was finally a week away. Arnav tried every possible way to separate Khushi and Ranveer, but was unsuccessful every time. He found Khushi alone this time outside her home, sorting out wedding decorations. When he saw no one around he seized the opportunity to take Khushi away with him some place where he knew she wouldn't be able to run off. He sneaked up behind Khushi and put a chloroform covered cloth over her face so that he would be able take Khushi away without anyone noticing, carried her to his car and sped of.

3 hours later...

Khushi woke up feeling disorientated not realising what had happened. She tried to remember what she was doing and at the same time trying to figure out where she is. Everything was starting to come back. What she was doing the night before, this morning, who she spoke to up to when she was looking at the wedding decorations that had arrived this morning.

She found herself covered in a blanket on someone's bed with a wedding dress next to her. Khushi discovered a note on the bridal suit with her name on it. Intrigued, she picked up the envelope and started to read the letter.

Khushi,

I know you must be feeling confused as to what is happening, where you are and who bought you here. I don't want you to be scared. Every time I spoke to you, you ran away from me. I love you so much that it kills me knowing that you are ready to marry another man next week. So many times I have tried to find many ways where you would come back into my life, as my wife, my love and my best friend. Nothing worked. I'm sorry jaan, but this was the only way I could find to be with you. The bridal suit and jewellery is made just you by me. Please be ready soon to be Mrs Arnav Singh Raizada. Can't wait to see you in your bridal suit. Love you.

Part 14

Khushi never imagined in a thousands years that Arnav could kidnap her in order to make her his forever. Though she wished that Arnav had never broken her heart or given her hopes of ever becoming a married couple, she didn't wish to accept Arnav as her husband due to the way he had decided to marry her. She had to get out of here without raising any suspicion or else who knew what Arnav would.

Khushi got her phone out of her pocket and to her luck, she had reception. Just as she was about send a message for help, Arnav came in. It wouldn't be a surprise if Khushi was shocked. The man that stood before her had the same name, same physique, same long hair, same height, however the face was not Arnav's.

Khushi: Who are you?

Arnav (2): The man who will be your husband in a few moments

Khushi: What nonsense, are you conscious of what you are saying?

Arnav (2): Of course, I have always loved you. Remember me? Your classmate from school, I also used to live in your neighbourhood in Lucknow.

Khushi: What? I don't know what your talking about.

Arnav (2) (walking up to Khushi): Stop pretending. Aru. Your Aru. I used to sit behind you every class we had together. I also enrolled in the same course as you so that I could be close to you. Please don't pretend that you don't know me.

Khushi: Aru? But I never interacted with you, let alone talk to you. You never came in front of me.

4 hours ago...

Arnav did not know what had hit him. He was desperate to woo Khushi before she went through with the wedding, leaving him heartbroken. The last thing that Arnav could remember was being in front of the Gupta house, planning how to talk to Khushi before the wedding. He even wanted to beg Khushi to give him a chance even if he forces Khushi to marry him, but seeing how everyone around him was happy, he decided not to go with it.

Khushi and Ranveer's marriage started becoming a reality. The baraat had arrived, rituals began, and it was time for Khushi to come to the mandap, however it was soon discovered that Khushi was missing due to two things, first, Khushi was obviously missing and secondly, how the room was messed. Everyone soon gathered in Khushi's room and were told of what happened.

While searching the room for clues that may lead to Khushi's disappearance. Ranveer had just received a message. When he opened it, he found a message

"I have been kidnapped and don't have much time. Please help me. The GPS on my phone will be on

After hearing Khushi's message from Ranveer, it didn't take long for Arnav's mind to work. He immediately called his sources and made sure they didn't take long to find Khushi's location. Arnav had to admit, it was a smart move from Khushi's side to sneak a message for help. It didn't take long for Arnav to find out where Khushi is from his sources. The two men ran as fast as the could to the car to rescue the woman they love.

Khushi on the other hand was getting worried each passing moment not wanting to marry a insane man who she didn't know. She just prayed that Ranveer received her message for help and came as soon as he could.

Arnav (2) came inside the room to make sure Khushi was ready, but seeing that she hadn't changed out of the bridal outfit he kidnapped her in and that she was not wearing the one he had ready for her, made his blood boil. Nevertheless, with the muhurat passing each minute, he decided not to waste anymore time and dragged an unwilling Khushi to the mandap to start the wedding. He had the pandit at gunpoint to start the wedding.

The pheras was about to start and Khushi was beginning to lose hope when Arnav drove through the door. Arnav (2) was shocked and wondered how Arnav and Ranveer managed to find Khushi, but then he realised that Khushi had her phone and must have seeked help resulting in Arnav and Ranveer to locate her.

Ranveer: Leave Khushi now

Arnav (2): Why should I? I love her, and I will give her everything she could never imagine she would have

Arnav: That doesn't matter, just leave Khushi.

Arnav (2): No, never in a million years I will leave her and why Khushi, why did you do this.

Khushi: Because I don't want to marry an insane man. I don't what you were thinking. All those years we were in the same class, you never once acknowledged me. How was I to know about you.

Arnav (2): I know, but I promise I will keep you happy, in fact I will give all the happiness and love that you never got

Khushi: Excuse me, what do you mean the happiness and love I never got. I got all that from my family, friends and the man I am about to marry.

Arnav (2): Really. If that is the case if I can't have you then no one can.

Before Arnav (2) could do something else, Arnav made a move to divert the gun in Arnav (2)'s hand. Ranveer was about to help Arnav when Arnav told him to marry Khushi right now or else they might be able to today.

Ranveer: But what...

Arnav: Don't worry. I will make sure that this man won't reach Khushi. You have the mandap and pandit here. Just get married. This way he may not be able to do anything.

Arnav (2): NO! Khushi don't marry this man. You have to mine and only mine.

Arnav: Shut up. Ranveer, just marry Khushi now. Don't worry about him, I will take care of him.

Ranveer quickly got Khushi's hand and both quickly started the marriage rituals before Arnav (2) could do anything. Arnav was struggling to keep this insane man away from Khushi and Ranveer. The wedding was soon completed with the pandit announcing Ranveer and Khushi as husband and wife when they heard a gunshot.
