hi, swearshina...

thanks for reading. you know i think the amount of space and thought we give asr and khushi and with those 398 episodes out there, they have become "real" i bet somewhere along the way. thought has dimension dammit. 😆

Indi di, you did it again to my poor heart. Do I speak the regular adjectives of lovely and fantastic? I don't think they are enough to describe the post. The midnight visitor was one wicked hottie, came and stole your heart and you couldn't even look for a safe distraction. Much like the man in it.

If I blush while fastening my seatbelt, i blame this creature.

If I have a silly smile as I gobble jalebis, I blame this creature.

If I sigh at the sight of a bluetooth, I blame this creature.

Yes, somewhere it is still alive. That somewhere is probably my heart.

cineraria,

thanks... delighted you like the ramble.

indi di was in a bit of state this 30th...

but really the midnight visitor is a hottie, wicked one, as you say... just what i had perhaps hoped for without ever really articulating it. so so so well it knew what got me... and then i discovered there were more and more and more people that were completely in its thrall.. your listeners.

in our hearts, our sudden desperate missing and our hyperventilating upon even thinking of the man in it, it does live.

and thought and emotion have dimension though we can't measure them... i bet we have made ipk "real" with all the thought and emotion we have devoted to it. 😆

Ah, we discussed that sequence. I am not left with much to say here. Thank you, both of you, reminded me why exactly it was so beyond gorgeous.

Indi Di, "chaos of his breath on her cheek" you are so lyrical. ❤️

She was daring and adventurous by nature. The likes of Shyam (being honey tongued and so easy) wouldn't excite her. ASR was that forbidden piece of white chocolate.

Haha, that jalebi.

yes... that's who she was. (and poor sp had no clue of it 😆.)

which is why she spoke to us.

and though her entire world exhorted her to like the likes of sweet talking shastra spewing shyam ji, her gut knew jalebi only goes gorgeously with chocolate. maybe she had also hoped for a bite of the forbidden without knowing she was hoping for it?

that stepping out of her comfort zone (how i hate such words) and grabbing the unfamiliar... sorry, yelling at it, hallucinating about it, giggling and walking aimlessly dreaming of it... khushi had a major story to tell.

cinereria, we should all write a series of kahanis on jalebi and chocolate.

I believe that writers like yourself added so much substance to the characters and plot. You gave meaning to the half hearted situations. You interpreted half expressed emotions. 'What was' and 'what should /could have been' merged to give everlasting impact.

IPK is incomplete without the voice of writers like yourself.

Seema

thank you, seema...

sometimes i have wondered why i write at all... yes, it makes me happy... but is it of any use (you know how we are so focussed on the "use" of everything)? and then you write that, tell me your name... feels wonderful.
