You know I don't think I'll ever figure out how this thing hit me. A desi sabun at that! Never watched it when it aired. Two years back, this time, my mom had just undergone a major surgery and I was trying my level best to get there as fast as I can, took me a week though. She used to watch it, I remember my brother telling me that she was pleased she has a tv in her hospital room and that it has star plus! 😆This was really sorcery, no other explanation will do I think! And these two, yeah, for me they'll forever be Arnav and khushi, the laadgovernor and sanka devi!

Indi, your post has made me all wistful. I would have said it was like a trip down memory lane, but how can it be so for something that is every bit as alive today as it was then for me.

It's amazing how each and every character is so vivid in my mind even now. Kept alive by amazing authors like you on our forum.

Like you said, let's celebrate those amazing 200 episodes, why focus on the rest. Those were enough to give us some sublime memories.

And the best thing is the amazing people I've met here, the dear friends I've made, delving into the sheer depth of talent so generously shared on the forum.

mothers always bring us good things, i am thinking he he.

i started reading mills and boons thanks to ma... the m and b hero was always unreal, not available and would probably be impossible to live with, but somehow he said to me, there's more to life than staid marriages with children cooking and socialising and discussing finances... there was the scent of a man, areal one, in that silly fantasizing and i was enamoured of it... stopped reading those books when i was 17, yet when i saw asr, i knew... i just knew where he had originated... and even in the instant i sensed that i also knew he would be more much much more... so would this love, this romance, this story that i will want for me too...

can't tell you how many times i have wished my mother were here to see this show. she would call barun sweet... chheleta boddo sweet. and she would love sanaya... meyeta ki graceful, beautiful. she would get all the jokes and all the vibe and dhakdhak with the romance though she'd make a wry face if you asked her if she loved it.

yeah... desi sabun.

sir, i often don't watch the so called really good films. and take a serial seriously? never... get hooked? what the. even friends, which i loved, never had me finding out the telecast time and waiting all ready for it before my tv.

there was pure sorcery here. i am glad it got me.

met a whole new world and made so many friends thanks to a tv show... the impact of ipk is really something else. thanks so much for reading... the first 200 are so terribly sexy and yet fun and also deep... killers... the next lot... even amid the what the, moments of sheer beauty...

thank you for reading my bakbak... can't tell ya the thrill i feel when i write something or when someone reads it.

i will never make money out of this writing, but i always get the feeling i will walk away with something far far more precious.
