Dalljiet Kaur opens up on her comeback to TV with 'Dhaakad Beera' after brief hiatus: 'Been a tough journey..'

In a significant development for Colors TV's upcoming series Dhaakad Beera, actress Dalljiet Kaur has been confirmed to join the cast. Amid reports of the actress joining the show, Dalljiet, who has now shifted base from Mumbai to Pune, took to her Instagram stories to share a glimpse of her upcoming project. The comment section of the said post was flooded with specualtions surrounding her stint in Dhaakad Beera. To confirm the same, India Forums reached out to the actress. Confirming it in an exclusive chat with India Forums, Dalljiet opened up on her decision to take up the show and mark her return to television after a brief hiatus.

When asked about the reports of her entry in the show, the actress said, ''Yes it’s true I have accepted a very interesting role for a show called Dhaakad Beera on Colors TV.''

Speaking about shifting base to Pune and still taking up a daily soap which is probably based in Mumbai, the actress, opening up on juggling between two cities says, ''I have been juggling between two cities, so accepting a full fledged role was difficult and I was almost sure I won’t be able to do television. But then, this role came along. I think the strength of Bela pulled me to this and here I am, shooting.''

For those who do not know, Dhaakad Beera, which premiered on July 24, 2025, delves into the poignant journey of an eight-year-old boy, Samrat, who becomes the sole protector of his newborn sister, Kishmish, in a village steeped in regressive traditions. Set against the backdrop of rural Haryana, the narrative explores themes of courage, familial bonds, and societal challenges. The show also sees popular actress Rakshanda Khan as the negative lead.
