Khushi can understand the reason behind power outage and water crisis. It's all the kartook of laad governor. When she calls him and charges him, he answers her in a very perfunctory manner. She complains, she didn't even drink a cup of tea since morning. He replies if she didn't have tea, how she will make for him! as soon as the chivalrous girl admonishes him to come to her place, he comes out from her house.
"It's too late."
She seethes with vendetta," how dare you!" and he says quizzically "you already said it, let's move on."
"Why did you go outside? Tried to make your fortune? Or moreover how are you liking it? No water, no electricity. And why are you still standing, why aren't you serving me? If buaji comes and ask you, damadji came and you didn't serve him tea then how will you answer her?"
Khsuhi's anger pulsates more to hear his banter. He adds more fuel to the fire,
"if the water and power don't come till evening, how will you manage, how will you cook food?"
Whatever, I will somehow manage." She goes inside grumbling. Naughty raizada is smiling mischievously at her rebellious rebuttal..
He is actually looking so yummy like a candy. He furrows his brow with jest and follows her inside the house to instigate her more,
"I know you will manage, but won't you be scared. I also will not stay with you this night to hold your hand. Because you know I can't sleep without AC." He derides her.
"I have little water and I will manage with it. At night if I get scared I will lit the candle, lit the lantern, but will not come to you." she says in a voice that felt rusty.
"I know you will do it. ziddi jo ho. but why you are troubling your parents because of your zid. just come with me at home, that's what you will have to do."
Arnav has been watching her activity leaning on the kitchen counter. Khushi is gathering water for her cooking. When she turns back he smartly drops the water on the ground.
Uff how he retrieved, I was dead to see the retrieving back of him.
Khushi points finger to him in burgeoning anger.
"oh..ah"
"Oh you don't have enough water to mange! I am sorry." he drawls with a sardonic edge.
"No I'll not give up so easily." her eyes flush with defiance. She intends to go out but slips and controls this time without Arnav's support. He already had mastered the skill of catching tripping and falling Khushi. though he doesn't hold her but screams out for sure "watch it."
When Khushi goes to get water from the hand pump the nosy neighbor's questions compells her to lie, that the faucet is not working.
She gets two big silver pots full of water. when she comes back, Arnav is still standing there on their patio. Though he feels bad for her but he is still obstinate in his decision. khushi is impervious as well, she says him grimly to move from her way.
"And if the door doesn't open then?"
Khushi notices the door is locked and he shows her the key.
"What! You will stop me to go inside my house?"
"I'm the owner of the house and I can lock the door whenever I wish."
"And I wish to"...she says with fulminating anger. She goes to hit him and unfortunately the pots drop on the floor and all the water spills on the ground.
'tumhare irarde par to pani pher gaya..all your effort went in drain." his sarcastic jibe are like small sharp knives slicing at her. Arnav pokes her more,
"Khushi if no power, you will manage, if you don't have water, you will get it from hand pump, but if the door doesn't open, what you gonna do?"
She looks at him angrily.
"Your family must be returning soon!"
"Why are you doing this? You?" she can't continue as he glides down his thumb on her swan neck to wipe water from there. was it water or sweat! After all her tyrant husband is making her work so hard! His tender sensuous touch makes her shudder; she is in impediment to talk further. He is very much aware of his affect on his beautiful wife, who is still looking cute in her angry tired state.
"You know very well why I am doing this?
"I already told you, everything will be fine in few days." she is incorrigible.
"kuch dino ki baat baad mei, forget about what gonna happen in few days but today your life can ruin." he retorts her with gritted teeth.
"Why are you like this?' she is in disbelief
"You know why I am like this, but you still have time." he is also not feeling good to be so obnoxious with her. To hide his emotion he turns back and continues,
"You agree with me what I say, your family will not face any problem. It's better to come back to me rather then bringing them on the street."
Cognitive Arnav knows how to implement his plan. He knows how chauvinist Khushi is towards her family. So he is using this weapon now to ensnare her. He wants to get her back in his life by hook or by crook.
Khushi stays quiet, plummeting into a deeper consternation, as if she is in an impasse. a droplet of anguish races through her eyes. She sweeps down her lashes battling tension. To see her silence Arnav says,
"fine, if this is your decision, then get ready to vacant this house in one hour. You perhaps will not have time to pick your stuff, nor you have the key to open the door."
he looks back at her, she is still standing there stagnant as if an unspeakable blankness wrenches her inside. He is flummoxed to see her obstinacy.
I didn't like him bringing her family every time to implement his wish. Last time he blackmailed her using Payal. He could do it without blackmailing her. When he brought Khushi back in GH she just surrendered to him on the very night. She is not so inexorable. Without any effort and just in one day Khushi forgot about the contract and accepted their relationship. I know Arnav is astute enough to make Khsuhi his own without the trick of blackmailing. I wish if the cvs would've that much of creativity.
In the hospital Anjali meets bua. She came for Sashi's check up. But Anjali thought she came for her own checkup. They sit together and have tea. Anjali comes to know that bua was fine, she didn't have any illness. Anjali becomes sad again, she misinterprets their intent ion, she thinks Arnav and Khushi both lied to her about buaji's illness, so that they can spend time with each other. She thinks Arnav has changed and he is not his chottey baby any more.
I'm just sick of Anjali, don't want to say any more.
Arnav has to screeches the car to a halt as Khushi blocks his car. He comes out angrily and charges her, if he was a bit late an accident could happen. Khushi says with mallow voice that he is right, she can't see her family destitute nor she will. That's why she is ready to agree with his decision.
"Can you say again?" Arnav is in disbelief.
"I will go with you. You come after two hours to take me.'
"shure."hayee aise koi sure bolte hai, to kill me and why he has to give that lopsided smirk. I'm getting intoxicated. I'm trying hard to avert my dreamy eye from him and trying to concentrate what's going on between this stubborn and tenacious lovers. He looks a bit incredulous and warns her that, "my name is ASR, don't forget that."
"Ha to."
"I'm always right."
Khushi starts to walk away without talking further and Arnav murmurs his wish to win her before the contract ends and tether her for the rest of his life.
"I will not come, until the contract ends." Khushi also promises to herself but with a strong pensive expression lurks in the depth of her eyes.
Arnav comes back after two hours I guess. He presses the bell and says to himself,
"Finally I will take Khushi home." but Khushi neither opens the door nor answers the home phone. When he calls at her cell, she picks and lies that she is at the doctor's office with her parents. Arnav is bustling as a raging torrent. she told him to come after two hours. khushi says she was compelled to go. He hangs up in frustration. and right after that Khushi sees him standing inside her room, in front of her. His eyes are icy with anger.
"How dare you lied to me!"
He comes to pick her and she says she can't go with him.
"You can't come, matlab? What do you mean?" his eyes go chilly. He removes the blanket from her body and notices the bandage on her foot.
"What happened." he gets worried now.
"I fell down"
"What did the doctor say?" he sits on her bed and touches her cheek'
Khushi brushes off his hand and tells him to leave; the thing is she can't go with him. Arnav tries to survey the swirling turbulence in her hazel pools. he can understand that she is lying. She says she even can't step on the ground. Arnav says her to look at him, cause he knows she won't be able to lie by looking at his eyes.
"Why I will look at you? I mean I need to take rest, I just can't turn my face and look." she tries to avoid eye contact with him.
"I see." his jaw tautens while his eyes freeze into little chips of ice. He strides towards the door to leave and intentionally bangs with the door.
'"Arnavj are you fine? What happened? Where did you get hurt?" Khushi runs to him to check."You fell down, your foot was injured!" he eyes her through a cloud of smoke. khushi goes back to her drama again. She is limping, "yes I got hurt when I fell down."
Her forced reasoning and her weak justification pulsate his anger. Arnav just lifts her lithe body in his arm. Khushi protests, what are you doing?
'I am taking you home. Right now picking you in my arm, next time will drag you with me. Did your drama finish?"
I am telling the truth. I really fell down. You were hurt that's why I ran. Doctor said I can't remove my plaster for."
She can't complete as Arnav completes her sentence "for 10 days, right?"
He looks at her eyes with pique. A brooding frown stamps on his lean strong features and he puts her down.
"The problem is for 10 days, right?" Arnav feels the righteous indignation that flows through him.
Both are taciturn for a moment. Arnav holds her chin and says not to lie to him.
"You are doing this for contract, right? You want to stay the rest 10 days here, so that you can get the freedom from our marriage." a chill shudder of resentment oozes down his spine."Khushi will you let this happen? You will let our marriage finish like this." his voice is cracking with emotion.
"What kind of marriage. What we did was deception. It was a deal. We had to fulfill the condition for 6 months, what I did and by 10 days, condition will be over, the deal will over and the rest of the thing." she is impervious.
He swallows hard to thwart her indomitable emotions.. His Adam apple bulbs and he completes her sentence, "and will be over." his eyes get turbid with sadness."Is it so easy for you?' A wave of despondency hits him. The pain is evident in his countenance.
"Now this thing doesn't matter to me." her voice is implacable, but her eyes speak of the emotional torment, disorientation is written all over her face.
"koi matlab nahi." He is ambiguous and incongruous.
She takes off her bandage and says him he knows well, why she is doing this? You know everything, so it's better not to discuss this matter.
"Ok let's not discuss, just let everything finish like this." he says with gritted teeth. Let's wait for aunty and buaji. I have to explain, why everything has to end. That's a good idea. Or moreover we have to say them everything, so we will. It was a contract marriage for 6 months and is over now and we will get the witness here."
"You can't do this." Khushi get the reality check now.
"Why, why can't I do this?" he turns back and asks "what excuse you will give? Some lies, like the way you came her by lying to me and my family?" His anger is cooling to an icy rage.
He turns towards her again and says her, "for a change let's speak the truth."
"They won't be able to bear."
"I know, but we should speak the truth. Now let's not play any game with anybody any more." His heart fills with a mlange of frustration, incomprehension and impatience.
"What do you want?"
"Let's go home, with me."
"OK I'll go with you, but when the deal will over after 10 days."Her pensive eyes are murky with extinguished embers of defeated anger.
"What will happen after 10 days doesn't matter. Now nobody is at home, so you better stay and I'll come to pick you up tomorrow morning."

Beautiful write up Sohara.. through the roller coaster of emotions of this episode.. apt descriptions of the playfulness it started out with then the touching somberness in the end...writers were truly biased for him ..they didn't let one feel the sadness of Khushi as much as they did of him.. afterall she was the one coerced into this marriage as you said by being blackmailed, then was reminded of the contract.. even then how his love for her comes through above and beyond everything.. what made asr and ipk very very special...
in that "aisa hone doge tum" his utmost unbelievability that his khushi would indeed let their relationship fall apart...and in that "khatam" . the despondency, melancholy...endings are always sad...and makes one feel every micro fiber of it.. barun lived through this convo..and that about speaking truth for a change, how genuine it felt.. i have longed to see a separation track but not this way.. khushi's uncertainty, patch work of making stories. didn't really help any intensity
