hi all,

nice chatting up there. i love the rakshabandhan episodes, who doesn't... 😆. he is out of control and obnoxious. and then hit by extreme remorse.

at the temple, the scene with his sister... aap meri duniya ho... words to that effect. and i am khadoos, badtameez for everyone, but not for you... so terribly dependent on that emotion for his di, so umbilically tied to her, so defenceless before that love of his, i was falling apart, no wonder khushi saw that and melted in crazy places.

and in 63, i thought i finally saw, nani had pretty much planned to plant khushi in his mind. she was convinced la wouldn't change, but while khushi comes in to train her, train ha ha, chhotey would start savouring being around a girl with solid traditional views. old lady never gave up, good for her.

she looked positively upset when she heard of khushi's condition that she would leave before he appeared.

there was something smart in this writing i felt... star plus not being the romance oriented channel with plenty older audience, always wants the family angle in... thought they solved it pretty neatly here, i never hear of any young viewer objecting to nani and her gentle interference. people get mad at anjali, but nani is a fave. actually, she was quite a character. rather interestingly written and very well enacted. uff the face off with grandson over leaving home... so terribly hot. asr had lot of grandma in him.

i am yet to read all your posts... now going there.

I haven't watched all most the entire sheetal track. But will take your word, by that time my totally arnavified asr would have confessed of his J with NK.😊

I had this chat with Ipoona as well, for the life of me I can never accept ASR being J of NK. J or competition is between individuals of equal stature. and NK tho totally cartoonish and adha pagal in our man's words..😆. At that point I almost wanted asr to give up on khushi becos too many men, 3 by then, eyeing her.. I didn't like our man to be in that line..😃

but NK is too affable and sensible too, during that dance practice when Ms Sanka lands in Mistah's arms "na naach sakthe.. na ga sakthe".. the entire raizada clan as always is blissfully blind to the fire emanating in the room, only NK is aware and electrocuted by those sparks..😆

When he finally found his sister, he regrets his brazen insolence which is otherwise apt for the manipulative world, but NOT to his considerate sister. His wise and warm sister didn't deserve his indignation he. He would plead, cajole and convince her. The ziddi brother and sister at last make up and gear up to celebrate rakhsha bandhan. The girl who is at the epicenter of this brother- sister altercation looks on rather perplexed.. amazed, as for the first time she gets a glimpse of the shrouded comforting warmth under his blazing hot exterior. A golden chapter turned in this master piece.

...Rakhsha bandhan always brought extra special things in the love story of asr- khushi..

that was lovely.

i read the first couple of lines and almost wept for asr... as in "where is asr, brung him to me, right now."

i love this man who is normal and angry and rude and impulsive and says things he regrets an instant after he utters them. could it be because that is real and gives him the markings of a real person or because er ah um, i am mmm a bit yikes like that.

whatever the reason, i trust this gussa man... no malice in him... rage, blaze, scorch, singe... but fire has a beauty in its heart , we need it to live. it ends deception and all things bad too... agni, soul, purity... words flip through me... he is primal, elemntal... and he is so deeply tied to his sis. i love that denialistc coolness you speak of.

yeah maybe it heps him live.

he has taken what happened terribly, mangled inside is he.

was a master stroke to use rakhi to both establish the relationship between siblings and use it to show the girl who finds him really terrible, though undeniable... aside of him, she never would have imagined.

some edits i'd done...

my stomach flips when i see this basic edit also of this scene. visceral love and giving. to have the strength to give that right to someone.

i wanted to weep when i saw this.

only this man can look that hot and powerful even with a erm pout.

nani in action??

this seatbelt scene had me hyperventilating.

Indu, it would be safe to say that he was feeling things he hadn't before, call it jealousy or something else. Or simply put, being territorial where she's concerned, even though he may not have admitted that to himself.😆

I couldn't stand that Sheetal track, the Mrs, India track...

Oh yes, NK was smart despite the goofiness. Did notice lot of things.

raijjaddan ka hot isstuff bitwa too cloje phor comfortiya...

i can feel my breath slowly heat up and start choking me slightly whenever i see that particular seatbelt scene... no idea why this one is different somehow.

yeah the asr would get territorial about the ladki... 😆 😆 he is so out of control with this whole love thing... might even go biff op one... how dare you play ankh micholi with my girl.

he hated seeing any guy looking at her, poor nk checking out her fair innocent back got it so bad... oh the fire and fumes of that scene from the shadi days.

don't tell me it's not possible to do a sequel to this show. maybe one on just the man being obnoxious and territorial. i like him bad and mad.
