Simply wow!
Read the entire story in one go.
loved the way u weaved the past and present.
And a beautiful arnav khushi story
loved the fact that both the characters were similar to hw they were in the serial.
arnavs anger n khushis craziness
I hope u continue to write more

Indi,

Just finished reading this super magnum opus of yours. Take a bow and then some, my girl, what a work of art this turned out to be...as I told you once before, if ever we wanted an IPKKND reloaded, then this would be it...and I would for good measure, also subtitle it : 'The Secrets of the Sheesh Mahal'. A fantastic read, enjoyed every bit, loved the different sections, even the myopic turn of events that took place in Sheesh Mahal. All leading up to the beautiful big picture...what a larger than life canvas you managed to imbue with such a selection of variegated colors. I am awe-struck. Even as a writer, I highly doubt I could have put together something quarter as meaningful. Something that is such a melange of our beloved show and your own vivid imagination...wow!👏

Khushi and Arnav Singh Raizada...what can I say about how interestingly you have fleshed out their characters...they have both grown so much from the start of the story. The interesting technique of weaving excerpts of the past - in no particular order except in how they shed some insight on the present - is most intriguing and gripping from a reading point of view. It helps break the monotony of the present and adds a new dimension, much like you would get if you listened to different streams of conversation.

The transition in their lives, the move into marriage and after...the physical, mental and emotional connect, the telepathic talking to one another's minds...you did not leave out a single thing. And for this I am glad. With just a few simple twists to the plot you have given us a story that I believe will last for a long, long time. Enjoyed reading it so much. And truly grateful I did not have to read this as you updated, but started after you were done...haha...I would have probably hit the roof with the impatience of it all. And yes, I do have a confession to make...I did not start off reading Without You for the longest amount of time, because I thought it was a story that started with ASR's death...and God and ASR know...I simply do not have the courage to even contemplate, leave alone read a story where he is not around or just makes flashback appearances. Thank you for proving me wrong and bringing him back to life.

They have been through so much...the coma, the past, the villains, Khushi's father's sickness, Anjali's losing the baby...amazing effort of bringing everything full circle and tiring things up neatly with a bow...just too good.

I could not skip anything including your lovely author's not at the end of each chapter and the collection of verses and quotations from the Bhagavad Gita to e.e.cummings...so loved 'Without You' for the new dimension to everything...including paagal and cute Khushi, shaatir and sexy ASR and all the rest of our beloved characters.

Thanks girl! Your lifelong fan now! Now, hurry up and give us another epic story.

Best,

anu,

i am leaping with joy and a bit gobsmacked at your comment. so so so happy you enjoyed without you. you touched on things i had thought in my head and heart while writing. it is my very first attempt at writing fiction... i wanted to give it certain things and because it came from a deep love for asr and asr khushi and the whole idea of a love that dares to live and and be monumental precisely because it does live and faces every single thing, i just didn't want to tarnish it in any way... only rejoice, only enhance and only give it the place it deserves.

i didn't set out to write a sequel to ipk, but since the story took off from the point it did, it became like a continuation of a story we'd heard and loved.

secrets of sheesh mahal. honestly, without returning to sheesh mahal, ipk could really not have ended, if the story was to be given its rightful place that is. i followed leads sitting in ipk and tried to go the whole route. i also could not convince myself that the story had run its course as the producers claimed... so i searched, and this is what i found. i was in many minds about anjali's child, not wanting to impose an idea just because i couldn't live with the ghastly act of shyam's... then roshni walked into the room and said, carry me. bas, what to do.

when i edit without you to post on other sites, i find myself getting quite absorbed in it. ncofl and without you are different and yet they are both asr khushi tales. i am grateful i could write them.

and readers enjoyed them.

words can''t describe that senstaion of gratitude to all of you and ipk that i feel.

okay, i am desperate to write a story, but this time, i'd like to attempt something original... however i see barun and sanaya doing the lead characters in a show... pipe dream. but what's life without some dreamin'. i will probably post it on a magazine site some of us have set up... i will pm you, maybe you'll like it?

you liked the quotes, and the structure. thank you. there is a depth in the story of these two people which i wanted to express and chose things that i hoped would do that.

thanks again. i am thrilled.

Indi,

Please do PM me...as I said, lifelong fan and follower of everything you wish to write now! Haha! Agree with you - if it started at the Sheesh Mahal, that should have been the logical place to end it all too. Will wait and watch and hope Barun and Sanaya do agree to come back together atleast for the benefit of their million fans! Definitely worth the dream...in the meanwhile we always have fan fictions and you tube. Although I am more than a little upset that they have taken down all the VMs and beautiful memories of this show we had. But seriously, have yet to absolutely watch any TV show after IPK with the same or even remotely the same interest. No point...this is one show that spoilt me for anything else...

Best,

thanks, anu. yeah, dreamdream dream... watch another show? kaisan, nand kissore. 😆

the taking down of vms was one of the meanest and most bully like act ever. they did it because they could. if we had the money and might to take them on, they never would have...
