Beautiful Horizon👏Love your last line.indeed a confession of love doesn't need words. Her first time in guest house took him to the edge where he wants to see her safe , then he declaration of leaving made him feel like his life is being snatched away , her coming back in his room , in his closet brought his life back in him and then now her going away like this and his fears of losing his loved one took his heart away.Whayt if I've lost you...seems What If I've lost myself again and a FEAR that he won't be able to get up...Thnx👏
❤️❤️❤️
I was seeing the akhada scene today morning and thinking exactly what your wrote. That TRP may have demanded it but ASR in a three piece suit hunched in front of his laptop with a bluetooth on his ear and glint in those eyes will have me mesmerised equally if not more. The fairy lights.. who wouldn't want to experience such enchantment in real life ? The chamkili dress and yet when he twirled her and did not actually even graze her back my breathing had stopped completely. Later during the remarriage Khushi's small choli's and low ghagra's were more designer but again not really needed in my opinion. She had looked beeaootiful in the simple demure yellow white churidar on holi. That was more than enough for me..Of course that back flip is of another class.. When that scene comes in our rewatch I am sure I will not be able to write one word about it! First because am not really comfortable about what to write about such things, maybe am plain shy and second because I know what the scene does to me .. Gives me the feeling of blushing madly hiding under the quilt and smiling silly.. But still something extraordinarily adorable in how Arnav treated Khushi. Exciting arousing yet not pushing simply teasing.. again a scene which had just the right dash of everything.. But then everything these two do just feels so nice that am sure I will find the words when the time comes.. And will enjoy every moment..For me the scene in the hut between the kidnapping track was the most physical.. and I still liked it.. For the surreal choice of song.. and also because somehow the fireflies before that and meeting after so long and just feeling alive, breathing again, all felt like it could lead to this compelling desire of wanting nothing more than physical nearness..The first scene when she fell in his arms and he had stared at her and his eyes seemed to pause for the longest moments on those quivering rosy pink lips already set the screen on fire for me.. teri meri, wedding rasams everything always had such a strong feeling of love that nothing ever felt wrong or uncomfortable..I don't know if it was the restrictions set by the actors that caused these boundaries to get set..but am glad it was that way.. and glad that the writers knew how to use the potential of the actors to convey all the chemistry and physical attraction without needing any other trick..
just a thought.
especially as i see the "love" scenes of many serials here and there... all pushing the physical thing a bit further, the bodies a bit more bare... lots of water, close ups of trembling body parts, suggestive touching... many innuendos...
no one did it quite like the two we love.
all they had to do was look at each other... if it went further than that, always with extreme grace, not a single merely carnal moment, always a layer of something ethereal and beautiful in their exchange, their moments with that inexplicable stay and power.
i am glad they were fully clothed in that rain hug we think of as fairly legendary. his hand gripped her fragile shoulder, just a little tighter than you'd think a man who disliked her would hold it, and before that the whirling away, snatching her away from perhaps death... two people looked at each other with a myriad emotions all untold... but hamesha was there somehow...
i don't really need khushi to dance in the rain in a saree showing stuff and asr lusting in some obvious, let us show you our "awareness" kind of way.
his hand did slide over her stomach in a scene, but oh the aesthetics of it... and that cheek rubbing at haldi, even thinking about it makes my stomach feel all atumble, his shirt came off once too, in my mind i rebelled against this trp getting move, but again, so beautiful and non threatening the moments, a flick on the nose, playful, loving, excited, her eyes riveted on his lips... who can do that.
when they got him to show off his muscles i that akhada scene, like khushi i gawked, and stoped breathing when he poured water over his face and hair and shook his head in slomo, water droplets spraying... but it was frankly not necessary... my breath stopped even when he took the fairly lights ever so tenderly with a wondering air off a girl twirling and looking mesmerised, or when he touched a single fairy light thinking of her, musing.
there was something about the way asr and khushi showed love and need and passion and awareness and desire that really i have never seen anyone else do.
i guess the others need all that extra spike of so called hotness.
the funniest was when i saw the original version of jadoo hai nasha hai... it just felt awkward and a bit gross really.
and if something set me on fire it was just two people looking at each other and getting drawn, hypnotically, eyes losing focus, a hand clutching a saree, a hand coming up slowly landing on a face, then the other... a man walking away, but then slowly turning back... water undulating gently, a little red, a few flickering lamps, shadows stretching between patches of colour, a step forward and another back... and a wall is reached.
i am hyperventilating already... here's to dhak dhak and our combined acidity.
Can't agree more. I may sound quite harsh .. apologies ahead.I sincerely don't know what is it about the non existing pallus and bare midriffs in these called desi shows. This so called authentic indian ness of these shows, leads is tiringly hypocritic. and this is shown on a daily basis not just for any occasion. It took ages of longing before asr's hand slid on her midriff briefly that too in a dance.. an emotional connect was well established between these two before anything grossly suggestive was shown. Except Hladi, I cant seem to recall anything either. If its only all physical why is it even needed to see only arnav and khuhsi or X and Y. Any man and woman engaged in explicit activity should be the same!Khushi's pom pom bearing rather outdated yet fully covering salwar is so much empowering.
absolutely... and it is who she is... we used to speak of how her dupatta was not reallly such a mega "covering" so why all her discomfort over its shifting... but she was well covered almost all the time, and the duptta was an age long cultural thing which khushi felt comfortable adhering to in its conotations, her clothes went with her personality... she loved tradition and did not believe you had to bare all to be a strong smart woman.. and dare i say she was right. on the other hand, lavanya thought differently and dressed different... both were right in their own way and reflected their real personality. now you have bare all heroines everywhere, purporting to be great upholders virtue and tradition. frankly, the whole trend of objectifying women all over again just bothers me. mere bodies to be lusted after, now in the name of trp. plus, makes complete keema curry and kachumbar of something called character... a believable real person. like khsuhi, like lavanya... their character decided their clothes. and the moment it didn't we felt the what the. There is a huge difference between explicit stuff and romance. I crave for romance and that's what IPK gave me not just scorching chemistry and hot scenes. ipk brought romance back centrestage and then with a sensitivity quite sublime told us how far love can take us. in a world gone nuts about only the material aspect, it was such aj oy, and reignited the arena of loving.
If anyone wants to know how it feels like to fall in love they watch IPK june- feb, they get the answer. NOT a single emotion of falling in love was left.. how these two were constantly in each other's thoughts.. how she felt as if she had scores left to settle with him when she resigned.. that palat at RM door after she thrust that letter in his hand.. they both had a part of theirs missing.. a masterpiece in making!Diwali, the most passionate moment, ...they didn't even held hands properly, until that feathery gently touch on her cheek.. and bam it was all over even before realizing..His taking his shirt off both the times was not necessary. sooo agree, nor was her navel showing remarriage clothes. Wish they weren't desperate show that stuff.
