I am here with an FF. This is my first as a writer. so please tell me if i should continue..😕

This is the story about a girl named Khushi her college life, about how she overcame the society in India where girls are not allowed to talk with boys. With time the story changes to the other dimension of her life that is love with many twists and turns.😉

Character Sketch

Khushi Kumari Gupta- Loving, Caring, Independent 17 year old girl

from a rich family(where money only can play the game) with modern belifs.

Arnav Singh Raizada- An independent, Arrogant Romeo. But loving in heart.He has one sister, Anjali Sharma.

Nand Kishore- Best friend of Khushi. Fun loving guy with good morals.(family not to be revealed soon).

Shashi and Garima- Parents of Khushi, Payal and Abhi. They are from a rich family with olden day beliefs.

Payal- Elder Sister of Khushi. She is happily married to a business man in America.

Anjali- Elder sister and a mother figure to Arnav. She is happily married to the love of her life her

childhood friend Vishal.

Priya- Friend of Khushi in her college.

Suvi- Friend of Khushi in her college and Priya's best friend.

NOTE: Anjali and Payal are characters which are used when necessary. They only play small roles here.

P.s: Wil update the Prologue in sometime.

Prologue

I sit on my chair in my class room and I remember the incidents which took place before 12 years.

Yeah 12 long years its been... I still cant believe how my life changed to this beautiful. I wish my husband was here with me now cherishing the moments we all spent together in this very own college. How we all met here and determined our goals and learnt the truth that life is what we make it, and choose the right choice when we have no other choices left.

Lets go back through the memory lane of my life(A story of love, friendship, hope, and determination

to overcome all the hurdles in our lives). This is my story, the story of Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada.

Dear NK,

I am really happy that you have got to pursue your dream of doing a degree in designing.

Why cant parents be a bit more understanding?? How i wish that I could study in Mumbai. I know I can easily get into that course with my acadamic record. And what fun will it be to hang out together.

But my parents say no. They want me to study here in Delhi. The college is not really bad. It is the best in the state. It is the matter of prestige if you get in here. It will start in a week's time.

I wish my dad had not got transfer to here. We could have been together then.

Dearest Khushi,

We have to accept the things that we cannot change. I miss you a lot.

I got your letter just now and I am replying immediately. My orientation is tomorrow. I am excited!! I love the campus, hostel and everything else.I tried calling you but your mother hung up on me. Looks like I will have to wait for your letters.

Do tell me how you like your college. It must have started by the time my letter reaches you.

PART-1(My New World)

My Parents are conservative and strict Indians. They actually allowed me to write letters to a boy. Considering the fact that I was not permitted to invite boys home or to visit any boy's house. When my gang consisting of four boys and three girls are going out for a movie after my class 12 board exams I was the only one who was not permitted to go. Perhaps, they let me write letters as no one would see them whereas going out for a movie meant that people would see and they would talk.

The first feeling when I had entered the college gates was that of breathlessness. I could not believe that my school days were actually over. No more school uniforms. No more strict rules. No more being treated as a kid. I would soon be 18 and officially an adult. I felt excited as legally it meant I was eligible to marry and vote.

My college was a perfect picture with 3 beautiful wings- the old, new and hostel. Never in my my life had I seen so many women or girls in my life. Throughout my life I had studied in co-ed schools where men were a part of my world. Suddenly being thrust into an atmosphere like this has taken me by surprise.

I looked forward eagerly to the classes that would begin soon and I found two good friends in Priya and Suvi. They both were good looking, smart, stylish and enthusiastic with an attitude that was contagious. Out of all that they were talented and very friendly. My first day can never be much better. Days soon passed by and my letters to Nk was getting longer and longer. I didn't know how but my first year has almost passed and my 18th birthday was nearing then I heard his name that one unique name which changed my life forever.

the concept is definitely fresh & unique... but for a first time story it just doesn't look like you are writing for the first time dear... Though short but the first chapter truly depicts a real confidence in the way you write... i love it..keep the good work going... Best of luck..
