That Evening the girls dropped me home in their car and left off. Finally I was able to let my feelings open. I felt happy that atleast I was able to share it with my friends. The next thing which came into my brain is I have to confess it soon to Arnav. So I decided to tell him when he meets me and also ask him about what Suvi spoke today. I want everything clear before we start a relationship. I mentally started to prepare for my confession when my mobile rang loud. It was NK's hostel number I felt excited to speak to him through it's been like ages and this is perfect timing since my mom and dad left to some wedding and my brother is watching tv. So I didn't delay a second to lift up his call. I quickly lifted up to hear his voice.
"Hey Khush" NK started
"Hello NK. Nice to hear from you after a long time you know. How are you??" I asked
"I am just as always Khush. What about you?? He asked
"Same here NK everything is fine"
"It is great feeling to talk with my bestie after a long time. So what Madam what's the news, did I hear it right from you. You truly in love Khush." He bombarded me with questions.
"Hey Hey stop it since you called me I will fill you up with every single detail ok you need not bombard me with all questions." I spoke out
"Okay now I want to hear out everything from you. Fast"
I smiled and told him everything about how he used to flirt with me first and his caring, he being insecure towards to me. Arnav confessing me. But I didn't tell Nk about the marriage thing because he will never believe. He acts more protective around me. Henceforth I decided not to tell him for the time being.
"Khushi are you mad you don't know him at all. From whatever I have heard from you I came to a conclusion you don't know any personnel detail about him. Whatever I ask you say you don't know.You just know him from almost a month. That's it."
"Nk yeah that's true but I like to make it clear that he is honest with me I can feel that maybe I have to know more about him, his personnel details I will surely get to know about all those before I confess him I promise you."
"Khushi please be careful I want to meet him first. Where is his family living?? Do you know anything about that??"
"Sorry, I don't know maybe in Mumbai I guess." I knew that still NK isn't satisfied with answers but I will make sure I get to know more about Arnav in detail and inform NK about it soon.
"Hmmm. So what about your friends I guess their names are Priya an..d Suvi right do they know about this??"
"Yeah NK just today I told them about this and they to told me the same what you said."
"Hmmm. Okay bye I can't speak to you more now it's late. Will call you whenever possible. I want you to take any decision after you get confirmed with him. And don't trust anyone easily."
"Yeah NK I will surely do. Take care of yourself Try to come here during your semester holidays."
"Yeah Khushi. Han I forgot to tell you that mom is shifting back there to her old caf."
"Oh that's great news then I will get to meet aunty soon." "What happened there??" I asked
"Aammm.. She tried to open a new caf shop here so that she could stay with me but that didn't click well and she misses her old caf then me.. Weird isn't it." He said laughing
I too laughed with him after a long time "I know she loves her caf. She always has a soft corner towards this. Actually I too missed it here but thanks to aunty she is going to open it soon." "We will miss you." I added it soon
"J Okay bye then Khush. Will call you later. Take care and miss me."
"We surely do. Take care. Bye"
And he finally ended up the call. Finally a long day came to an end with good notes. Soon I prepared myself to bed because tomorrow it is going to another big day which I never guessed it is going to be[Buddies remember Khushi is telling her story].
It was early morning 5 when I heard the beep sound of my mobile and woke up. It was from Arnav, I felt super excited because I am going to talk to him after so long and I have to tell him about my love. I quickly read his text
"Hey!!"
"Arnav where have you gone??" I texted back
"I will tell you everything when we meet ok. Sorry for disturbing you at this moment"
"Hey are you mad I was waiting for your one single text."
"I know that's why wanted to text you or it won't be possible if you go to college."
"Yeah but where have you gone, you didn't even text me once."
"Oh that I was busy with dad and his business."
"Oh!!"
"Is it possible for you to meet me today evening after college I will wait for you outside your campus."
"Actually Arnav I too want to speak to you about something important."
"Then it's great at 4 I will see you there outside ok."
"Done"
"Then it will be good but please don't say it is time I have to leave and all."
"How wont I say that when it is late?? Han"
"It wont be so late like last time I promise Khush."
"Ok bye then I have to get ready for college now."
"Yup me too. Bye!!Take care then"
I smiled and started to get ready for college. I reached college on time and met my friends. Both Suvi and Priya were chatting with Sanjana.
"Hey Khushi" Sanjana spoke
"Hi Sanju. How is everything going it is been long since I met you I guess"
"Yeah Madam you are too busy on drooling over ASR right, then how could you??" I was shocked and turned towards Suvi and Priya.
They signed me that they didn't tell anything but just that she was teasing me with Arnav.
I quickly turned towards Sanjana "Stop it Sanju it is nothing like that" I just tried to cover up
"Guys lets go it is getting late for classes." Priya said interrupting
"Thanks for saving me Priya." We all started to leave to our classes
"Hey no thanks dear its just us doing a bit favour for you right. Come lets go now" She said hugging me sideways
The classes went just like that and soon it was evening I informed both Suvi and Priya to leave as Arnav is going to come to meet me. I came out of the campus to meet Arnav waiting for me with his car. He was standing leaning on his car just as always looking simply hot.

It was a pleasant evening Arnav was driving his car and I was sitting beside him holding his hand. It feels like it has been so long since I held his hand but it was not even a week. He was watching my every gesture through the corner of his eye with a small smile playing on his lips. The car suddenly came to an halt, Arnav got down from the car and opened my side door. He held my hand and brought me to a lonely garden.
The place was so calm and the air was filled with the fragrance of flowers. I found there number of colorful roses, I didn't get what was going on in Arnav's mind. I knew that Arnav want to tell something but I don't know why he brought to a place like this. Looking at this place it feels like it is owned by someone and this place is quite private. I turned towards Arnav for some answers when he took my one hand and kissed my palm. He looked into my eyes deeply and spoke.
"I know Khushi you want to know many things and today I want to give you the answers for them all. That is the reason I brought you to this place as this one is close to my heart. This place belongs to my mom. When I want to disclose every small things about my me I want to be here in this very place with you." He slowly took me to the nearby bench with still holding my both hands
"Ask me Khush I am ready to answer you."
"Arnav I don't know where to start since I don't know anything about you. The only thing which I know is that you are studying in Mahaveer's and you love me." I spoke out sincerely
"Thank you for that Khush for trusting me. My father is a great business man Khush his name his Anoop Singh Raizada and my mom is Ayesha Singh Raizada or to say Ayesha Sharma. They both got separated when I was 10 now my mom is living with her friend in Mumbai. I have a sister her name is Anjali she is married and living in US with her husband and this is my family."
I was just staring into his eyes holding his hands tightly asking him to continue "I don't know the exact reason for their divorce Khushi but they hate each other. I came here to stay away from all those and studying is one reason for that. I lived my childhood in Mumbai with dad and now I am taking care of his business. Which means I work for him sometimes during my holidays as a part time to earn for my living."
I was listening to all his details calmly but confused a bit why should he earn for living when he has his parents. I opened my mouth to ask him but he stopped me and continued.
"Let me speak Khush I know what you want to ask me. My dad is ready to spend all his money for me but I want to earn for myself I want to be independent. Mom meets me whenever I go to Mumbai she is living on her own. Looking at my parents at a small age I lost my hopes on love and relationships. Every day they fight for no big reason and even now after their divorce whenever they meet one will throw dirty pranks on the other. I was tired of all this and came here to continue my studies, to divert my mind from all these I used to be with girls spend all my time with them flirting and all. Khush I want to tell you things which you never knew about me, things which I was afraid to tell you before. But I know one day I have to tell you and I should be the one telling you. I know you may break down after hearing this but I don't have any other option because I want you all my life. And I want to be honest with you now and till the end of my life. Maybe due to the lack of trust and being honest my parents had to break up but I don't want to do the same mistake they did."
I was waiting for him to continue, my heart started to race and my mind started to ponder on what he is going to say He stopped for a moment took a deep breath and spoke out which I never expected from him "Khushi I even had one night stand with girls. I know this is going to be tough for you but trust me I have changed now for good. I wanted to tell you this before but I couldn't get the courage to tell you this. Every girl wants her man to be as pure as she is but in my case it is totally different. I want you to accept ma as who I am."
I became dumb for the time being I guess I couldn't believe what I heard my world started to drop for a second. My dream of having a perfect husband has become blur I didn't know what is happening in my life. "Khushi speak something please. I know it was a big mistake then and now but I have completely changed for you. I never knew that I would fall in love or anything like that before until I found you and have fallen for you." I was in no mood to speak because I don't know what to speak so I just kept calm.
He waited for some time and moved away "I'll wait in the car" he just left saying that. Tears started to make its way. I sat there for a while absorbing the much needed air.

THE FIRST CUT IS THE DEEPEST(PART-11)
The drive back home was as calm as never before. The only sound which I could here is the sound of the cool breeze. He was driving and was calm which an unusual thing for me to watch. I kept myself cool and strong atleast that is what I wanted to show to the outer world. Soon we reached home and I got down the car to move inside when I found something holding my dupatta it was Arnav, I found his eyes red and repenting for his mistake. I tried to observe him for a moment when he spoke out
"Please Khushi try to give us a chance. I know what I did and I feel guilty for doing that." I watched him keenly and found small dry tears in the corner of his eyes which showed how hurt he was.
"The ball is in your court Khush. Choose where you want it to be." He said giving a sly smile and drove off into thin air.
I went running into my room. I started to cry very hard, I didn't know why this was happening to me. It is not that he did a big grave mistake, it is his past and he was truly honest to me in every aspect. I knew what Suvi said was true, I remember her words. But I was confused with my feelings for him just like before. I am not sure about our future together. The first question which came to my mind after knowing my parents culture well rooted to the ground is will they agree. And after knowing a bit about his past and forgot to ask him why he wants us to get married soon? Why is it so urgent for him? Is there anything else which I didn't know? All these questions started to get into my brain slowly. I thought of speaking about this to Priya and Suvi next day and clear all the mishaps which is currently happening in my life. Thinking about all this I fell asleep.
Next morning I quickly had my breakfast and left to college since it is an important day today. It is our college 25th anniversary plus it is today that the college management is going to decide the best designs. I straightly went to my class to find my eager friends.
"So how was it yesterday??" Priya asked
"Did you clear all your confusions????" Suvi shooted quickly
I smiled a bit and asked Suvi "You knew what was coming right."
Suvi's face faltered a bit. I felt happy that Suvi warned me about this before but I didn't know why but I found the same guilt which I saw in Arnav's eyes. So I quickly chose to speak before she feels much more guilty for not telling me about this.
"Suvi it is not your fault and yes Arnav did told me about everything last night." Both looked at me and tried to observe me but I smiled back looking at them
"So what is your decision Khushi??" Priya asked
"I seriously don't have any idea about this. Sometimes I fell everything is clear crystal clear in front of me but the next moment it is totally blur." "I don't know where my life is headed to"
"What your heart is saying right now Khushi??" Priya asked concerned
"I don't know but day by day my feelings for him started to grow very deeply until yesterday when he told me the truth."
"Khushi we really don't know how we could help you in this problem." Suvi stopped for a moment and spoke "Khushi if you know he is a changed man now will you love him still??"
"Everyone have their own plus and minus Suvi and Arnav too has, maybe he has a big one. But it is still the same, if he is a changed man then I will happily accept him."
Suvi smiled looking at both Priya and Khushi victoriously
"Then your problem is solved Khushi."
"What do you mean??" I asked
"We just need to get confirmed about his feelings for you. And Dhruv can help us in this I guess" Suvi said
"Great then lets speak to him right now" Priya said
Suddenly the bell rang indicating that the classes are going to start. We thought of speaking to Dhruv about this later. The lectures started when our Principal came to our class to announce the one who is selected to represent our college.
"Good morning girls" "I like to take a moment to inform you guys about your designs. They are just great but rules are rules, so we have to select one out of those and the management has decided who is the one. It is Khushi Kumari Gupta." I became blank for a minute when our principal announced my name, I know I did well but I didn't expected that. That is something so big for me.
"Your designs were extraordinary Khushi they had unique theme. So Khushi are you ready for the show"
I was nervous but I said "Yes Mam"
"That's good then. Tomorrow all the college representatives are coming and our chief guest who is also going to be our judge." She took a moment and spoke to me
"Ok alright Khushi meet you with good designs tomorrow and All The Best."
I smiled back to her showing my gratitude. As soon as our Principal left there was a big noise in our class, it was from Suvi first of all and then the whole class. Everyone congratulated me for my hard work and soon the day went so smooth planning for the event.
"So Khushi you are ready for tomorrow right" Both Suvi and Priya asked
"Yes girls. Hope everything goes fine tomorrow"
"It sure will be" Suvi said smiling
"Hey don't you guys remember what Dhruv said Arnav is the one who is going to come tomorrow behalf of his college." Priya said
As soon as I heard his name my heat started to go all Dhak Dhak. I should meet him again, he will surely try to speak to me how I am going to speak to him?? What I am going to answer him?? All this thoughts were going in my mind when Suvi broke my rivalry.
"Great then it will be easy for us to know what is in his mind." Suvi said turning towards me. I became a bit tensed after knowing about him.
