This was one of the most powerful and telling episode - both hurting and in severe pain, a predicament leaving them shattered.

And of course their acting skills took the episode to a completely different realm. This is why I loved IPKKND - no melodrama and yet so much was conveyed by mere expressions, specially the eyes.

It was an intense scene. Beautifully portrayed by Barun and Sanaya. Arnav couldn't see Khushi engaged to anyone else. He did care for her. Arnav couldn't see Khushi cry when she said sorry to Arnav so that he would give her ring back to her. Lovely days. This episode was aired few days back on LifeOk rerun. Loved it :')

Wow...that was a very well directed and fantastically executed scene...

"Yeh hamaari sagaai ki angoothi hai"

Today Her words are shattering him the very same way he shattered her world with his "shadi kar rahe hain.." on Diwali night.The only difference is he did it purposely by running away from his feelings and she has no such intention doing this here.But after hurting her deeply he did try to bandage that moment by taking care of her wound and did make a bondage through which he delivered his feelings which she grasped it and now she knows it well he is hurt .But This is also a realization moment for Khushi for the first time that she is ENGAGED'...which she never grasped before either... very very valid point about khushi realising what had actually happened. till now it was an act undertaken to help her family and when forced to do so, suddenly as the man whom she loves registers this and reacts sharply... it is so so real and terrible. and to make matters worse di mentions shadi, when he almost passes out i felt and she starts feeling worse... both fought this feeling the best they could... at one level i can't blame them, whena feeling this big begins to swamp you, it's normal i think to feel most unsettled, even turn and run. in his case, he was taking her presence a bit for granted maybe, that one line, "yeh hamari sagai ki angoothi hai" cut sharp and vicious... whaaat. all his resistance fell all around in broken bits, inside a terrible cry... kya kar rahi ho tum. and i so loved the next episode and him cutting his hand in a frenzy then refusing her help... so so so lover like. ufff.

The moment gets glaciates with the piercing pain with those hollow words of Khushi and in return it benumbs and desensitizes him and his gesture "Kya yeh saach hai"[is it true?] without WORDS and she confirms it.She lowers her gazes as she can't bear his pain anymore.but he couldn't take his eyes off ...'The excruciating pain and the numbness of the brain paralyzes the Mighty ASR whose hands never miss any target yet lose the grip on the ring . i died.

Later Arnav in rage and bafflement,"tumhari sagai ho gyae,..kaise'tum ne mujhe batana zaroori nahi samjha..Kissi ko pata kyuon nahinn hai"[you got engaged'how'you didn't even bother to tell me].But Mr Raizada who thinks girls like her have purpose behind everything and not a single girl matters to ASR then WHY today all this matters.Khushi in quizzical mode,"aap ko iss se kya fadak padta hai"[why does it matter to you?] She knows how to retaliate...but he is in no mood or patience for all of this...and grabs her fiercefully,"Mujhe iss se fadak padta hai Dammit' kyuonke'.[it matters to me because.] His ego and fear stops him completing his sentence but not his heart which is feeling the same pain what she felt on Diwali's night..He just keeps starring at her with agonizing eyes'.which are delivering his message which he can't verbalize'..The message which is showing his vulnerable side, the side which he opened for HER only...The girl who is her reason of survival...without whom he can't breath...

The ring which was dropping hints for Arnav from Star gazing night till today has delivered its message , "Ring" which has become the "ring of fire" for him within with which, couple of minutes before he was flirting with her to rebuild the broken trust and now that trust is again at HALT...but circle of ring is completed...""Fadak Padta hai" it matters all along.

THANK YOU ArshiH...for this post...such an intense moment it was...their pain, turmoil, helplessness...every damn feelings were expressed though those two pairs of eyes...they are brilliant...i miss those days...one of my most fav yet heart aching moment in ArShi life...and loved the post...
