Sohara, you don't know Guru dutt?? Although you are very young to know about them, I am sure you appreciate good art and he is absolute piece of art and his looks are not at all bad, I saw shades of him in barun's asr..esp in pain, romance... and a bit of rajesh khanna in flirting.

But you are right why all these actors of yester yrs were nanas and chacchas even from their younger days? May be the mind set of those days, fitness, dressing, projection..

Diwali and Teri- Meri always on the back of my mind, even getting ready to celebrate the anniversary of the day teri meri promo came out.. Jan 18th... talk about depths of lunacy..

Week days here so cant do much for sankrathi, kids had formal bhogi pallu on bhogi though.

don't kill me 😆 in certain movies i found dharmendra cute...

but shashi kapoor was my absolute heartthrob. there is no other hindi film hero i have liked as much.

certainly not srk, aamir, salman, hrithik, amitabh... no one... mine was always this lovely man. 😆 the only other actor whom i really liked was naseeruddin shah, but that was for the acting, not the mmm-ness.

suchitra has that otherness about her... something you can't not acknowledge. and yeah uttam had gravitas.

but my heart only leapt for the young and handsome tum bin jaaoon kahan kapoor.

I like Dev Anand too, but mostly in his earlier movies. Something about the type of roles he did and the story of those movies too were always hatke, different. I was stupified with this performance in Guide, especially in that SD Burman song right at the beginning. I think Issk posted it somewhere recently. And that yearning and longing feeling for his beloved, like him searching for Nutan in Tere ghar ke saamne in the song 'tu kahan', that was quite impressive.

And I enjoyed Shammi Kapoor movies. Totally mast maula, fun and entertaining all the way.

Breaking the records for the depths of lunacy is the ultimate goal of every IPK fan. 😆 Oh, almost 2 years since teri meri! It seems like yesterday that the promos were all over and every fan's heart was doing dhak dhak rapidly. 😳

Bhogi pallu for kids is such a cute event. My daughter used to enjoy it a lot during those 5 years. But, her expressions during the first year was priceless. There was a smile on her lips right away.

Sorry if this was already discussed somewhere else..

I was rewatching some of the first few episodes and came across the time Anjali was teasing ASR about the girl in dulhan ka jora who fell into his arms. And since you all know this show by heart 😊 was wondering if she ever did come to know Khushi was that girl. I don't remember it but was it ever shown in any episode ?

Arnav would remember it often. And that linking to previous things..flashbacks.. references to past moments in dialogues.. was nicely shown in this show...made it real...
