~~FINAL UPDATE (PART-B)-THE DESTINY~~

New semester kicked off with the celebration of their birthdays...Arnav and Khushi had born on the same day..."what a destiny we have...we came to this world on the same day but we can't be together in this world...",Khushi thought... Khushi brushed aside these thoughts because she felt that it would be better to come out of this mess as these feelings will only give her pain and nothing else. She decided to focus on their friendship and be the bestest best friend of the world to him. Arnav gifted her birthday card which he had himself made for her while Khushi gave him a collage. Khushi was overwhelmed to see the card as Arnav had never gifted anything hand-made to his friends. "What an amazing person he is... I wish we...No Khushi..Be firm at the decision you had made this morning...", she contemplated.

Days passed by smoothly... Arnav cared for Khushi as if she carried his soul in her body. They become more comfortable and frank with each other. They started to converse on phone for almost an hour daily. They discussed every little detail of their life on the phone. Arnav decided to participate in the event-"100 Seconds to Fame". He rapped JayZ's song. After giving a rocking performance, he went to his friends. To his amazement they had not recorded his performance so he went up to Khushi. Khushi showed him the video clip of his performance which she had recorded. Arnav was so ecstatic to see the video that he hugged her. Khushi couldn't register what just happened. After 5 minutes, she realized that he had hugged her for the first time. She whacked his head for hugging her in public. Arnav apologized for his 'mistake'.

Rumours of their 'relationship' surfaced in the college. These rumours made uncomfortable as Khushi felt that the feelings she had suppressed have sprouted again. Moreover her friends started to 'advise' her that Arnav was 'the perfect guy' for her. Khushi discussed with him about the rumours and 'advise' and they had a good laugh about it. But she did not reveal to him the emotional havoc that she was facing. She knew that she had gotten over her feelings for him. But she feared that these rumours and unsolicited advice might make her fall for him all over again. She decided to cut down on their telephonic conversations so that she doesn't get 'addicted' to talking to him daily. She gave him the reason that she wanted to focus on studies so she can't talk on the phone daily. Arnav supported her decision and did not even question once.

One night during a candid conversation over phone, she blurted about her initial days 'liking' for him. Khushi feared that Arnav might not like to be friends with her anymore. Instead of passing any judgment, he made sure that she did not feel awkward. "Look Khushi... it is not wrong to have feelings for anyone.. In my opinion those were not feelings for me because if it had been so..No matter that how hard you would have tried you would not have been able to suppress them... It is just that at that time you stopped talking to your school friends and in the college Dia and Shyam created a mess...and talking to me comforted you... that is not a 'liking'... and even if you had feelings for me, I have no problem with that...my opinion for you will never change...just because you liked me in the first semester..I will not leave you... You mean a lot to me... you were, you are and you will be my best friend...", explained Arnav.

Next day Arnav realized that Khushi was distancing herself from him as she was still feeling uncomfortable because of the 'confession' she had made the previous night. Arnav again explained her same thing. He told her that he will never judge her on the last night conversation and she is the still the same Khushi for him and now it is up to her how she wants to carry their friendship. "If Arnav has no problem then I should shed this awkwardness... If I don't, I might lose my best friend and can't let this happen..."she contemplated. "Hey Arnav I am sorry for my odd behavior today... I promise I won't repeat this behavior again",Khushi apologized. "it is okay Khushi...", he winked. And they hugged each other. They were destined to be together forever..not as lovers but as best friends..but Khushi was satisfied and happy with their destiny as that day she had also realized one more thing that love is not always about being together forever as lovers... it's about being by each other side forever... it's all about care, trust and understanding...

Having a girlfriend or boyfriend is not love...

But..

Having someone in your life on whom you

Have blind faith that even if you hurt them

To extreme,

They will still hold your hand and say-

"I was yours and I will be always yours"

Is LOVE...

wow..what a beautiful twist this turned out to be.👏 so our arshi continued to be the best friends that they were. maybe their bond will grow more stronger aftr khushi's confession, as this means both of them will share anything important that happens in their lives. in so many stories i have seen arnav n khushi start their relationship instantly with intimate courtship, but here they are the best friends whom anyone would like to have in their lives. i have always believed that true friendship is the most stable and strong relationship in the world, aftr our parents n siblings. kudos to u for taking arshi story in a completely new way. waiting for more such stories from u.
