that is exactly what it is. the only way i handle it is by donning heavy saree and jewellery and hiding me behind all of it... okay i swung my dhai gaz ka kamar to faavicol se... tell me it didn't really happen. in the midst of meaningless party, people also said they were now highly spiritual because they go to geeta society... and yes, we were told that important philanthropic work was being done by bday boy, e-learning would lead to the making of 1000 dalai lamas in leh... see that's how you become dalai lama... via e-learning... all this was of course happening in a five star hotel (pron: hawtle) where many garish anarkalis were on display... yay i was the only one in kanji and jhumka gira re. thankfully you guys could be reached and oh the pleasure i had in telling someone that i am these days into a shady tv serial and was fascinated by a 29 year old hero type of said serial. i was definitely not giving the world several dalai lamas, nor was i available for deep ponderings on spiritual matters, unless of course it was to do with whisky... and

Issk what to say this comes to my mind as I read your poetry

Main zindagi ka saath nibhata chala gaya
Har fikr ko dhuein mein udata chala gaya

I just kept going with the life,
Kept on flowing every worry like smoke..

Barbadiyon ka soz manana fizool tha
Barbadiyon ka jashn manata chala gaya

it was useless to be sad for the runings (of life, the things I lost)
(so) I kept on celebrating the runinings..

Jo mil gaya usi ko muqaddar samajh liya
Jo kho gaya main usko bhulata chala gaya

Whatever I got, I considered that as my fate,
whatever I lost, I kept going, forgetting it..

Gham aur khushi mein fark na mehsoos ho jahaan
Main dil ko us makaam pe lata chala gaya

Where there is no difference felt in sorrow and joy,
I kept myself bringing to that point..
