Oh, I did get you IssK, no confusion there. 😊 I have been awed by the MM name too. In fact, the Mahishasurmardhini stotra is one of my favourites. A feeling of courage and power while reciting it. It is full of tongue twisters, but once you get it, the words just flow.

Hai na! Its playing in my head now. I try to recite it daily during the Navratri. Missed it today though. Should start from tomorrow atleast.

Lovely, samin...ghulam ali...memories galore, a favorite with the elders in my family...we spoke about him once before on the thread too. Arnav Khushi's ishq lends itself to much classic poetry i say! Any language, any form. It just works beautifully.

And it's 500 years old, is it? Wow. My mum wanted to listen to another gem "Paaon chho lene do phoolon ko inaayat hogi" from Taj Mahal this evening and we watched it together on youtube. I was thinking then about all that is lost in art and beauty over time...but thank god really for the internet...it's a blessing...the more i use it, the less insecure i feel about timeless beauties from the past.

My fave lines, btw, in chupke chupke...Do peher ki dhoop mein mere bulaane ke liye...Voh tera kothe pe nange paaon aana yaad hai. Amazing amazing stuff!

Arshi, she's fine. She is busy with her assignment which is to be submitted on Monday. She should be active here next week. 😊
