oh i love that opening on the two meanings of that sham ko thanks line. yes, the dialogue guys had so much fun... often i felt they were trying to say things in these episodes that had another underlay of meaning.

say thanks to shyam... lovely. yeah without him, how would these two get together... too many things in the way of ultimate capitulation. instead bring shyam in, and in an instant... she will become his patttni. once that is done, a ha, no way out.

loved your "khushi snuggles in her smiles" and "libido moment." the guy was out to get her. hyuk hyuk.

you saw fifth phera in the significance of wheat and rice. i too saw very marital meanings there, a couple and their duties, in the context of our culture... feeding guests together, lot there.

your reading of the three parallel scenes was so interesting... there is a sense of something reaching climax... death, calamity, departure, all there.

and arnav did get there just a bit late... sigh.

Thnx Indi for sweet comments.😊..As they are doing all the rituals and 5th phera is done ...symbolically...Their 6th one is in front of Agni...in front of DM and that's it...7th phera they need to work on and that goes complete when He gives her necklace and all because that that day companionship, togetherness, loyalty and understanding in between these two takes a whole new level as I was just discussing in your post of Raksha Bandhan Pic...

Their Symbolically union is done in that epi...

I know they changed the story after that and Dadi musibat came but it was really nice going till there...that's why the dialogue of Khushi..."nahin aoongi ...contract khatm hone se phele nahin aoongi.."

and his "tumhain paa keh rahoonga ..iss contract keh khatm hone se phele.." came along right before there...I watched these epis million times to get the meaning of all these...I know Paagal # 1 as I am...😆😆

Some other ones were when he learned about Khushi's engagement, during Holi, during heer ranjha, after telling Khushi the reason why he married her, in the kidnapping hug, when Anjali tried to have an abortion,after anjali's miscarriage, when Khushi brings back Shyam, during their remarriage, and finally when Khushi was leaving him after learning about Aarav. I think of all of them the element that was common was whenever he broke down he looked for and was either blasting on Khushi or hugging Khushi.

Oh, that post kidnapping hug was really something. Pure emotions flowing out there. Thanks for all the times Arnav broke down. Do make a detailed post on it once your exams are over. We will be waiting. Till then All the best for your exams. 😊

HI Arshi and Chalov. Maya is one of my most favorite movies for its songs. You know I was a Kishore Kumar fan however in this movie Mohammed Rafi songs are just enchanting. You know I started liking dev anand after this movie . Of course we can not forget the chemistry in " Tasveer teri dil mein" . My two favourites are "Jaadu dale hain" which I think is an awesome number by Asha Bhosle ji and "Zindegi hain kya sun meri jaan", The later can enliven my worst days.
