i just posted about what started me watching ipk! let me find it and paste some of it here 😳
i stumbled upon ipk because of my cousins and i will ALWAYS be grateful to them for forcing me to watch two episodes during a get-together at their house! it was the payaash engagement/desi girl track and honestly, it was like watching a film.
i couldn't believe the high standard and quality of writing, storytelling and acting by the cast, and was totally amazed by the superb lead actors and HAD to continue watching it. i kept bugging my cousin, asking her questions about asr and khushi and la and shyam and she tried to explain but i didn't quite see it.
so then i just HAD to catch up on the previous six months of missed episodes because i was hooked on arnav and khushi and needed to know how they got to where they were in their relationship! what a revelation and a breath of fresh air - i think i caught up in about two weeks and hardly slept at all 😳
ipk is my one and only addiction to desi tv so far. had seen bits of episodes of different shows over the years but they always looked boring and never held my interest and i only watched british and american shows. have started looking for a replacement but no other indian show or jodi compares so far, and i will be shocked if i find one that even comes close 😎
