while i like to imagine this is just business and star plus doesn't really have any agenda, somehow my gut says otherwise. i think perhaps the furore last year which they just couldn't handle and made them shut the show, all the little newspaper things saying "first time..." "fan power" etc., has somehow got to them.

i have never heard of amn indian channel having to set up banks of customer support guys to answer repeated calls by fans all asking for either bs to be retained or show to be shut down. no death scene of asr. i made about 6 calls i think... never did i ever think i'd do this sort of thing... and spojke to a couple of boys... ridiculous conversations, desperately trying to keep fans at bay.

for days.

i guess, the star guys haven't forgotten all that. something rankles still.

there seems to be a somewhat "show you" attitude in things to do with ipk. i mean... think about it... do they really need to make a show called ipk ebp? or is this a way of saying, we didn't really lose, see we are so cool, we have the name, and ipk is again on... no one can mess with us.

honestly, i don't care.

but i do do think, we need a dvd set.

any suggestions, anyone?

there are people on the forum who have complete downloads, if any one of you knows them, maybe they would be willing to share...

What a MAHA take on a MAHA episode, Arshi! 👏👏

First of all, the writing was so intoxicating that since y'day, i've returned to star player several times to watch 175...then 174 again...and now saw the haldi bit at the door of 175 again😆 His taking her dupatta to wipe the haldi off his face, i find most irresistible. Aah that sexy sense of belonging, of entitlement, of the right of possession of all that is hers! Could romance EVER get any better? She can deny all she wants but in that moment when the oh so repulsive Shyam grabs the same end of it and tries to wipe the haldi off, she reveals her pick, her supreme selection, and her innermost feelings for Arnav...much like us, the girl revolts at the action most forcefully. Gosh, what emotion just a touch of the Dupatta can evoke!! And it's not just because it is a dupatta, the age old "vastra of lajja"... it could've been a scarf or even a handkerchief, and we would've felt the same! Amazing!

One of the most touching scenes between the sisters, as you write too, is Khushi feeding Payal whose Mehendi and Tel combo have rendered her hands ineffective to do anything. This scene makes my eyes well up each time... it's so wonderfully written and performed. I tried to avoid crying last night, conjunctivitis and all😆, so i left the audio on but moved to another site when the scene began...but no getting away from it. The audio was enough! That "sabse chhota sa nivala" is so heartwrenching. She does underestimate herself, this lovely girl, doesn't she? "Some labels don't change", you said there, most astute your observation.

And of course, the pie'ce de resistance of the episode which started with the kangan picking with Arnav's coffee and head, both sizzling hot.."NK, she is your Raavan's lady"...loved reading that as i stared at his deadly expression of rage and jealousy in your smashing edit of the scene. Followed by the entire poolside scene culminating in Khushi kissing him in a moment of spontaneity.

She was so overcome in retrospect, of his unfurling her hair to cover her back... so touched, that she showered him with a gorgeous gift of affection, most unconsciously! Lovely moment that, and her coming back to her senses and covering her mouth in disbelief. Her running past Shyam on her way out, not even acknowledging his presence, my most loved shot there. Well done i say👏

And finally, couldn't agree with you more, about that last bit at the door. If he'd been there throughout, that scene would've become another poolside kiss equivalent. It had the makings of a memorable moment...but it turned out 3-quarters baked, sadly...
Guess he didn't realise we were going to watch these scenes a gazillion times over😆

You are absolutely right about Anjali. We realized it very well after the kidnapping that how influential she is. she literally put the family in trauma. Rather getting worried for Arnav they started to panic for old baby Anjali.
